  Due to the 32 bit OS limitation of the 32-bit Vista is not able to see all of 4 GB memory system.
  As mentioned that there is a lack of 32-bit operating system.

  I have not tested if the same question will appear on the 64 bit OS, but I assume that the 64 bit Vista should recognize all of 4GB of memory.

  But I m very interesting to hear other options. Maybe someone has already installed the Vista 64 bit OS on the unit with 4 GB of memory.

  However, I need Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, edge to run on Vista 32-bit.  I have no immediate plans to upgrade computers until next year well win 8 or released.

  Even on Windows 64-bit, Firefox is a 32-bit application, then your data will be used. It is easier if the version is the same on both (for example, Firefox 3.6 to 3.6, Firefox 5 to 5).

  Thank you for your message. I did a clean install of win 7 on Christmas and accidents seem to have disappeared, I hope for good. Now, I have a problem with slow windows startup!

  Apparently, this is a known issue. I have a drive external hard maxtor - a single key, but the driver, well recognized by win 7, is the 2006 version of the original model. Apparently, win 7 is trying to find a newer driver, for about five minutes and only boots when he tires to do!

  I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

  Method 1:

  Step 1:

  Try to start in safe mode and check.

  If you are able to connect in safe mode then run step 2.

  Step 2:

  Try a clean boot to safe mode and restart the computer in normal mode.
