• NI USB box problem when Labview ends abnormally

  Hi all

  recently, I had a problem with the NI USB box used in Labview.

  I wrote a very simple program and it runs in Labview 2011. Basically, it reads data from a NI USB box and also send data back. According to my knowledge (I don't know if it's good or bad), when the Labview is arrested shortly how it is completed, the USB box should also stop working. But the thing is, when the Labview program ends abnormally, let's say I directly terminate from the windows task manager when it is running, all the ports of the box USB will hold their final statements until I restart Labview and write new values to them.

  This could be very dangerous. For example, when I use the USB box to control the power of a power supply, the Labview program crashes (which happens often), the power supply box and USB power will continue to work until I restart the program again. I tried several different types of boxes NI USB on PC and the problem still occurred. So I was wondering if there is no mechanism that prevents such problems or if I can do something programmatically to avoid it.

  I have problems when I shoot in raw + jpeg.  It seems that the raw files get corrupted.  I shot raw without a problem.  It's only when I shoot in raw + jpeg.  Raw files will not appear in Photoshop elements.  I installed the Canon software and could see all the raw files; However, I noticed that when I tried to post some full screen they would not show.  I also noticed that these block-ish look raw files.  They appear more digital research.   Is there a specail required in RAW + jpeg map?  I formatted ones I have before their use.

  Thank you all for watching my post.  I shoot with a 60 d using Photoshop Elements 10.  Finally, I called Canon tech support and found out it was the card reader that was causing problems.  When I used another card reader, I was able to transfer the Jpeg and raw files.  They advised me to connect the camara to the computer to transfer files.  I learned to use a card reader and have for years.  It was the first time, it caused me problems.

  I understand the policy of Adobe support for the current and previous version. That would mean support ended with the introduction of RoboHelp 9 which was around June 2011.

If I check the checkbox "merge pdf" in the scanner window, first page works fine but when I scan page #2 or one of the more page don't merge in the file pdf which flashes briefly in the sidebar, but still with only one page...

  I tried with another scanner (diff brand and model) and the same problem, so not a driver issue...

  In development, it's a big problem, when the browser still shows you an old page. I have change something in my code, but it does not apear when I reload the page. When I opened another browser chrome for example I see my changes.

  BTW, I don't like chrome and I was really happy when I stay in firefox. But the described problem could couse me to change browser.

  There are actually quite a few ways to accomplish what you're trying to do. To refresh the page without querying the cache, the simplest method is to type ctrl and f5 instead of simply typing f5 or hit the button reload. The second would be to set up your development web server to transmit the "Cache-Control: non-cache ' directive cache so that any browser you test with, (as long as it is in accordance with w3c) does not cache the hosted Web pages. The last method should be considered as a last resort, but you could also disable the cache of Firefox by activating / disabling the network.http.use option - Hide all: config to false. Remember, once you decide on one of these methods to clear your browser cache before testing again.
