  • Vista drivers & software for printer Photosmart 1000

I got a HP photosmart 1000 for 3 years now and I drives, and I've never had a problem with any computer, I got - were not HP! Now, I buy like laptop HP Compaq Presario x 64 and I'm unable to use my HP printer. I love my printer and have endured years of ink cartridges 40 - 50.00. However, if I can't download the drivers and software to load this printer on my laptop HP with Vista 64, then I not replace my printer with another HP. I love the quality of the printer and its functions and were willing to make compromises on pay more to the price of the cartridge costs. But, if I have to pay, simply because I just buy a computer "nine" at HP, then I will be replaced by the new Xerox printer.

Does anyone know if there is a download with the drivers and software for this printer to work to Amend be recognised by Windows Vista? Please let me know. I appreciate all the advice!

If it's the Photosmart 1000, which uses the cartrdiges 45 # and #78 (introduced in 1998 about...) the driver Deskjet 970 should provide a good match for printing.  Go to the printers, add printer folder, and then select the Deskjet 970.

  • HP Officejet 5740: No drivers / software for Officejet 5740 on HP.ca

I bought this printer about 4-6 months ago - all the software has been installed and the printer worked very well.

I recently had to reformat my PC due to misconfigurations side by side paralyzed from my PC. Now I am looking for the HP website for the software and drivers and they are not there. In addition, HP still sells this device on their website!

How can they sell the device, but have not all drivers etc for it?

They have drivers for a printer that I bought there are well over 6 years. But not for a printer, I bought a few months ago?

Hopefully, it is a problem with the site Web doesn't show things correctly, but if the drivers are not available, while they are still selling the material, something is totally wrong with that.

  • Clean the OS install on HP Compaq dc7800p CMT - which drivers/software for HP?

    Gentlemen.

I decided to first try the road at low prices and to order a recovery disc Vista professional instead of a copy of Win7 for my HP Compaq dc7800p CMT with Intel Core Duo E6550 2.33 GHz processor, 1 GB of DDR2 800 MHz RAM and HARD drive retail 80 GB sata.

I'll have to download drivers and software from HP and there is such an astonishing array of software available for this model I don't know really what to download and what I can let it slide.

This is designed to be a professional computer maintained by computing professionals, but I just want what he as a general-purpose computer "ordinary".

Now I tell myself that I should get certainly all drivers because they are strictly based on the material and will also apply to my needs to those of the original unit office drone was designed for. I just discovered, in cases where there is more than one choice of material, what advice or feature of this particular machine has to obtain the correct driver.

But sometimes to wonder if, as Vista will be installed on a HP reinstall drive, has the disc still a library of drivers HP to replace the more generic drivers that can come from a MS retail disk, which makes it unnecessary for me to download drivers HP. I doubt it, but it is best to ask.

The BIOS is less obvious. I think that there is a BIOS version that is newer than the one currently on this machine (786F1 v01.04). I've heard several philosophies on the BIOS updates: one is, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it. " Just replace the BIOS if there is a problem (s) it might lessen. The other school says you should always have the latest version of everything, even if it not is not the current problems. So, should I get the latest version of the BIOS?

I have no idea what ' ME ' designated operational entities and firmware if I should worry about this.

Also less obvious is the software designed for increased security, seamless integration with an enterprise network and generally make it easier for the IT guys earn their salary. I don't know what, if any, utility most of these things would provide in my situation. If there is no hardware on the system which would "complain" If a particular piece of software was not installed, then for the stability of the system, I do not want to have even if I never use it.

I know I ask much, here, but Paul Tikkanen in response to my initial post on this computer, mentioned a few BIOS settings that may be to my advantage. I'll use these suggestions and all that more that can take this machine more pleasant to work with my circumstances.

Sorry... Just one thing. The descriptions I've read of this computer say she a dial-up modem 56 built-in of k, but it is referred to as a 'soft' modem It applies to a sort of virtual modem that exists only if the driver for it is installed? When I ran HP Insight Diagnostics, a sort of device LAN has been entered, but not modem. I have a dial-up modem, believe it or not. I just downloaded the SP3 for Vista and it took about 21 hours! Ridiculous, but it prevents me from wasting time on the cat and pornography videos.

    Thank you for your interest!

I'll have to download drivers and software from HP and there is such an astonishing array of software available for this model I don't know really what to download and what I can let it slide.  There is a page of software and the drivers of the computer.  You can install all the drivers on this page.  If the driver does not need to be installed the system will tell you.

This is designed to be a professional computer maintained by computing professionals, but I just want what he as a general-purpose computer "ordinary".  Here is the technical reference Guide for your computer.  It has all the information you might need.  In some sections, it has all the models listed.  Just look at the CMT.

Now I tell myself that I should get certainly all drivers because they are strictly based on the material and will also apply to my needs to those of the original unit office drone was designed for. I just discovered, in cases where there is more than one choice of material, what advice or feature of this particular machine has to obtain the correct driver.  As I said above, the page of the software & driver will tell you what it takes.

But sometimes to wonder if, as Vista will be installed on a HP reinstall drive, has the disc still a library of drivers HP to replace the more generic drivers that can come from a MS retail disk, which makes it unnecessary for me to download drivers HP. I doubt it, but it is best to ask.  Yes, the majority of the drivers is installed during the recovery.  You need to update the drivers.  You can run Windows Update to get updates.

My theory is, don't update the BIOS if it does not solve a problem you are having with a component.  A failed BIOS update makes a good door stop.

I have no idea what ' ME ' designated operational entities and firmware if I should worry about this.  Firmware is the software that tells the operating system do with a component, as for example a drive opticlal (CD/DVD drive).  Windows Update can also be found for you,

Most security software are not a necessity for the system to function properly.  However, it can be a problem if you have a virus or malware.

I know I ask much, here, but Paul Tikkanen in response to my initial post on this computer, mentioned a few BIOS settings that may be to my advantage. I'll use these suggestions and all that more that can take this machine more pleasant to work with my circumstances.

  • Complete Windows 8.1 features & drivers software for the range of all-in-one printers HP Officejet 5610

I downloaded the software from the HP (AIO_CDB_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408.exe) website.  When I try to install this software on my new computer 500 - HP Pavilion c60, out of the error to install it with a message that a file is missing (hpzshl.ice_s...).  Does anyone know the correct drivers 8.1 (x 64) for printers HP Officejet 5600 Series?

Thanks for the recommendation; but uninstall and re - download do not solve the problem.   I ended up calling HP support and they just relaunched the .exe with administrator permissions and the error has been resolved.

  • Cannot install drivers/software for AOI C4599

I just bought an of C4599 all-in-one printer at the end of December.  I have fresh installed XP in the past two weeks.  Thru auto update, my version of XP's SP3, version 2002.  I have set up the material part (installed ink and ran through the alignment).  Now, I try to install the drivers and software.  I put the CD.  It auto run to a simple menu, where I clicked on install.  During step 1, he froze about 15% complete.  I left it alone for about 20 minutes, when I came back to her, she was still frozen in the same place.  I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and attempted to stop the installation process.  I could finally kill him after a few failed attempts.  Since then, I can't restart installation.  I was watching via Add/Remove Programs, I have looked through the list of processes and don't see anything that stands out as a "HP" program or a process.  My CD player is set to autorun, but this disc is not, I tried to launch the "Setup" program after exploring the CD and it will not work.  The printer is not connected to the computer again (as advised in the quick set-up guide).  Please tell us how to recover from this problem and complete the installation.

I had similar problems with the 6310.  The FAQ had me uninstall all HP software and change the startup with msconfig (even if the start was not a problem for me).  I've always had problems, so I downloaded the drivers on the site and was able to install successfully. Now my problem is trying to get all software application.  I hope this helps some anyway.

  • Windows 8 drivers/software for the Photosmart C7280 printer/Scanner

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 printer/scanner. I have recently installed Windows 8 Preview Release and discovered that the software I have installed Windows 7 doesn't seem to work as well. On the Setup, the only butotn displayed is "Exit" - that's why I can not install the software and drivers.

Are there solutions available for Windows 8 again (even if its only beta software - I'm happy to give it a go)?

    Thank you

    Jamie

    Hi Travis_C,

Thank you very much for the reply.

What happens to me with respect to scan using Windows' built in the analysis Assistant which is OK but that only gives me the option to save as a bitmap, .jpeg, .gif, .png or .tiff.

Software of HP that I used in Windows 7 accepted save me the scanning to PDF which is what I want in this case. Is it possible to get this software to run in Windows 8? In addition, will you be brining a version of Windows 8 of this software?

    Thank you

  • Win7 drivers/software dv9000

I own a HP Pavilion dv9000t Notebook and unfortunately it is only a 1 year and 3 months. I upgraded from Vista Edition Windows Home Premium 64-bit Windows 7 Professional. I'm a little frustrated to find in upgrading my PC apparently 'old' I technically my software warranty and they will not help any longer. He's so irrating they expected me to stay with Vista... it's a joke. What I can say is that this is the last Hp I NEVER buy again with their horrible customer support. Also, I feel better that I am not alone with my anger.

So I looked up drivers for what I believe is called quick launch buttons. It has a bar of touch above my keyboard that plays, mutes, volume allows you to adjust and a button used to open fast HP DVD play. I also have a remote control that has the same features and is now useless. I went to Hp.com and tried to install a driver, but it didn't work. Anyway to get around this?

    Try this QL:

  • Win7 drivers for the A50-105 Satellite Pro

    Hello

I'm wanting to upgrade my my Satellite A50-105 from XP to Windows 7.
Is - this possiable? And where can I find the drivers for it? Thank you

This old notebook was designed for Windows XP Home edition and it is certainly not compatible with Win7 so you will not be able to find Win7 drivers, Toshiba especially not specific tools and utilities.

If you want to use the new operating system, I'm afraid, you need better and more recent material.

    Help?

Toshiba laptop offer around the world and computers notebooks are specific products of these countries. You have laptop designed for the Asian market, but looking for drivers on European support page.

If you want to find the drivers for your model, you should look for it on the support Toshiba Asia page I think.

Check if you can find the drivers on http://toshiba-asia.com/sg/support/drivers
