  Try using the wizard adding printer in the Control Panel, printers. In the wizard, select EPSON under manufacturer. If you don't see your printer in the list, click the Windows Update button.   I installed an external USB connected hard drive Seagate to copy some movies and pictures of my HP laptop with Vista, but it became a big problem. It slowed the computer and check the new disc repeatedly. Then it wouldn't start without the external drive at all but it was working fine once he was conducting with the external hard drive. So thinking I can outsmart the computer, I uninstalled the drive from Control Panel. Now it primer not at all. The computer lights up briefly and then goes out of itself almost immediately, is there a solution to this? Thank you

  Please try the possible fix following first thanks to Carey Frisch:

  1. open the BIOS of the motherboard.
  2. find where it says Priority Boot Device, then select CD/DVD-ROM 1, 2nd Hard Drive and disable all the rest.
  3 find somewhere in the BIOS where it says BOOT USB, Wake on USB, etc. and disable all unnecessary options.

  And second if it does not help, you can try the following with Blue Michael:

  Local Geek Squad had me intentionally set the BIOS to the correct order, then re-order and SAVE.
  It worked, even if the list of the BIOS was always in the right order.

  Assuming that you have a valid SIM card in the phone, it is more often symptomatic of a phone that has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock.

  I ordered the HP recovery disk. It took 3 hours and a half for me to end with all the 15 disc. I followed the instructions and pulled out the last cd and restarted the computer. Then a blue screen indicates that the computer restarts several times to complete the installation, and then click ok.it rebooted several times but never got the ok to restart the computer again. It's Friday, it's now Sunday. During the process, I noticed a windows script error that says... can not find script/tmp/src/install/worldwide/compaq/others/shimshorts?

  I got a deskstop with icons but no taskbar. Afraid to try to restart because may need to start the process again.

  Thanks for the help.  First of all, I took out my memory card and replace the po (don't know if that helped or not). I restarted the whole process again. This time, do not click ok after each disc I let the computer's own admission. I am downloading update and get a new virus detector now.

  The usual way to check an editor is using a digital signature.  Maybe your system is not able to verify the digital signature because it can not find this signature through a path to a 'reliable Source '.  The signatures of tracing back the tree successfully will end by one of your trusted root certificates installed on your machine.  Unlike later versions of Windows, Windows XP updates not very well its root certificates.  Your application can use a more recent path of signature that you have not installed on your machine.  There is no guarantee that this will solve your problem, but you seem desperate and it can never hurt to update your certificate root on your copy of Windows.

However, the computer is unable to access the disk drive.  What can I do to reinstall Windows 7?

  F12 will be a different key for Dell systems, this will tell you where you can download the details of the .isos to be used to reinstall.

  The files were perfect and the solution is not too expensive.

  These were related to 3 things combining to produce the accident.

  1 - Aicharger.  Associated with the driver ASUS AiCharger.sys from ASUSTek Computer Inc. charger.

  2 - about the hcw66x64.sys Hauppauge WinTV HVR-900-Stick of Hauppauge Computer Works, Inc.

  These two are the USBXHCI. SYS accident (XHCI Microsoft Corporation USB driver)

  I would like to delete Aicharger (you can change the devices using USB only), update the driver for the Hauppauge Win - TV (I suspect it is the real cause of the accident) as yours is almost 3 years old.

  After the two above if you continue to crash, I would run a check of system files to check the USBXHCI. SYS driver.

  Some questions that we are wrapping up development on our form.

  First of all, I'm trying to create a button that will save the XML file that is exported to a local path, IE, c:\\windows\desktop

  I found this: xfa.data.saveXML (); which I put in the click event, but how can I say to save in a way?  (and while we're at it, specify a file name)

  Alternatively I tried to use the built in buttons-email, HTTP, but I was unable to find documentation on how to build the code.  I know pretty much anything can be added to the XML source, but I need is a pointer to this that the best way to handle this and how to build the instructions to save the path.  It is for our directors extract XML file and import it in their database.

  Second question: what is the best way to let a user perform a completeness check?  I like how the default email send button checks all fields set to "the user has entered required" and I would like to configure a button that similarly does a completeness check and then warns the user that there are fields to the left or confirms that the form is complete, perhaps with instructions on what to do next.  What is the best way to handle this?  The presentation plan is the user save the pdf locally and then manually upload it to a server that requires a connection, then administrators will export the XML file and import it into a database.

  1. you cannot include a path or file name in this statement (unless you certify the document which has problems of its own). The user must select the path and name (for security reasons). By default, it will save the data in an XDP format. You can switch to another parameter that saves the file with the extension xml instead.

  2. just add a normal button and add code to the click event that will run all the validations for the form. Assuming that the root node of your form form1:

  Form1.execValidation)

  This will return a true or false value depending on whether there are validation errors or not. So you could combine this with an if statement:

  submitButtonName.execEvent ("click")

  App.Alert ("there are validation errors in your form!")

  Hide you the real send in this case button if the user could not bypass your code.

  Last week, I had to do a full system restore to remove a virus. Because I didn't have any disk boot of Windows 7 at the time, I decided to boot linux (ubuntu) on the computer to make sure that my system works ok. Today, I received my discs of 3 recovery by post media, but I have no idea how to use. The instructions say "Insert disc or the disc #1 this series, in the drive and follow the instructions on the screen." No sense arose. I need to delete linux first? If so, how should I do that. I have no way to get Windows on this computer, unless these recovery disks. Thank you.

  first of all, you must enter the bios and set Cd/dvd-rom as boot device 1st in boot priority option. Press f10 to save and exit. Insert the 1 recovery disk and follow the instructions on the screen.
