Hello

According to the description, I understand that you lowered the score of 10 windows and now face problems with your Windows 7 computer.

I would like to know some information.

  1. You receive an error code or error message?

  2. This restart commands you talk too much?

  3. What is the current status of your computer you can start on the computer?

First of all I suggest you to disconnect all external devices such as USB printers, USB Hubs, etc.

I suggest try to start the computer in safe mode and check, please see Microsoft article and check out them below if it can help.

    Visa update problem

After trying to install the updates.  my computer is now stuck in constant reboot mode while showing "Configuring updates 3 of 3 0%, do not turn off your computer.  I tried to follow the instructions provided here because it seemed to be the same problem.  But when I restart and hold down the F8 key so I can boot into safe mode, I tried selecting safe mode and I get the same results, and I tried again by selecting the option 'Disable automatic reboot' which seems to be an option on the same page with the option of safe mode.  Whatever it is, the same message comes back and I can never get to where I can see my desktop to click 'start '.  I can't get out of this cycle.  I installed the update because it said I needed to install it.

    *************************************************************************************************************************************************

Turn off your computer by holding the power button for about 20 seconds.

Start your computer in safe mode: press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure:

    • Click Start
    • Click on Control Panel
    • Click on system and Maintenance link.
    • Click on the system link
    • In the left pane, click Advanced system settings
    • Locate the startup and recovery area, click the settings button.
    • In the startup and recovery window, uncheck the box next to automatically restart.
    • Click OK in the startup and recovery window
    • Click OK in the System Properties window
    • Close the system window

After that... While STAYING in safe mode I do a system restore and maybe try a manual install of the update later.

For the sake of space I refer you to the article about how to proceed.

I do not use Windows at the present time. Not sure if Firefox did not update a option now. Personally I would not downgrade to version 17 it is not secure and does not have the latest patches. If you wish to make in order to follow the link in this article. Install an older version of Firefox

  • Worried - hacked iphone? App installed without permission

    Hello

I've recently updated iphone 5 s 6 s + & bought apple tv 4. I installed apple tv 4 last night using my new iphone. This morning I discovered a new application had been installed on my iphone, now called "KORTV" - before anyone else says it's the Korean TV application, the symbol do not look like the KORTV app you can find in the app store, and when you open it, it comes to show a lot of computer language - I'm not at all least bit computer , so I have no idea what that meant. I deleted, but is now, I had taken at least a screenshot.

In fact, my question is - my iphone has been hacked? If so, what should I do? If I have restore factory settings will be able to simply do it again?

In order to provide more information, I have a shared family account set up with my wife, who's made phone do not have the same application installed on the phone

In addition, I can't find the same "KORTV" app in the app store - at least with the same symbol of the app - it was more like portfolio (in terms of colors), and not obviously Korean image of the KORTV shown in app store app

The App in question is not in the section "purchase" in the app store

Basically, I googled a number of different forums and the general opinion seems to be if the phone is in your physical possession & no password was reported while everything should be good. But I know that this application has not been installed by me, so I know it must be answer somewhere.

If it happens again, I'll reply to this thread with a screenshot.

Any kind, helpful comments would be appreciated v

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Same thing happened for me, last night I had to reset my iPhone 6 and noticed an application called KORTV with the icon that looks like the old icon of portfolio. I opened it and there is a + button on the right and when I click it, it creates a text whose date and numbers, when I click on it nothing happens, but I am able to delete the text. I have no idea what it is and like you I searched on the app store and could not find, I searched google and only came with a link to your post here.

I have a hunch we have been hacked, I turned off my Wifi and Mobile Data just in case.

  • Windows VISTA Premium comes with Windows Defender installed. Mine somehow was deleted and now it won't let me redownload it. Said that I already have.

I want to REALLY Windows Defender back. How can I do?

This thread you latch on is almost 2 years.

Should have started a new one for you.

    To answer your question:

    > Do I need advocate? I use AVG free Edition 2012 and Wise registry cleaner.

1 AVG is supposed to close Windows Defender. This is because AVG has his own Defender. To have 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.
Thus, you don't need Windows Defender if you moy.

    2. I HIGHLY recommend that you uninstall the registry cleaner.
In the hands of the users done computers, registry cleaner could be useful.
In the hands of novice computer users, it's a time bomb.

I went through the entire list of solutions for troubleshooting a connection cable with no luck.  The Windows Mobile Device Center simply doesn't even recognize that the phone is connected.  I used several cables with no success.

Also if you're wondering why I'm posting on this forum about microsoft, it's because you guys would probably well informed of the problem.

You can start by unplugging all non-essential devices you may have connected to the computer.

    If the problem persists.

Start the computer before Windows starts to load, press F8 repeatedly until the recovery environment is responsible.

    Click on repair computer

This will load the advanced Recovery Options

    Click on solve problems

    Click on startup repair

Follow the instructions on the screen.

See if it solves the problem.

Why did Windows using stealth tactics and install updates without permission or notice?
It becomes a regular event, it also seems to restart in the middle of the night to set up these updates. I don't know what the intention but
[Vista 32 bit] I returned this intrusion in the files to my PC and I always despise microsoft to decide to act like a pirate.  I'll give microsoft some time to answer this, but I expect to be as horrible as they are usually with the customer service.   So in a few weeks, I'll start to smear the name of microsoft as much as possible and sway anyone my possible to buy non-Microsoft products.

You can change the AU for the "updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting. Once you have done this, you will need to approve the updates are downloaded, the updates are installed and where they are installed.

I prefer "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting.

  • 10 Windows installed on my Dell Vostro PC 260 without permission. for 21/2 long weeksHow need to solve? 1333396024

Worked with Win Tech Support for more than 2 weeks. Community and level 1 support my Win 7 back which included the starter kit, my pix and docs. Trying to get back to LiveMail for address book and stored files, but cannot load. In collaboration with tech level 2 which seems knowledgible, but it leaves me with unfinished session and no further communication. When I called support said he'll call back. Spent 2 days waiting for recall. Spent on 40hours tries to solve this problem. Guess the next step is the small claims court.

Or... you could just restore backups?  Seems easier, less intensive, time.

Not sure about the whole thing, 'Windows' 10 installed without authorization; I don't care.

It is a public-to-peer web forum, steal.  No Microsoft support.

Looks to me that you just need to roll-back of your facility if it is within 30 days, you realized that you do not want Windows 10.  If, for some reason, what has failed - you might just restore from your last backup recognized reliable; assuming that things on the system is sufficiently important to you before the incident that you have saved.  If, for some reason, none of these things worked for you - you would just install from scratch and update/install your applications and (hopefully) restore your personal stuff from backups (assuming that, once again, things were quite important on said system to justify save you some...)

With regard to the whole of "Small claims court" thing; Let us know how it goes.
