  I just upgraded a from2011 catalog, probably made in LR4 - to my LR5.7 current (not bought yet LR6) I'm on a yosemite running on the end 2013 10.10.3 iMac - and met a straange glitch during the upgrade of the catalog. It still shows the exposure, recovery, climax and black sliders in the mode of development-while things like the radial filter and vertical position and the normal of other tools are there, WTF!  How can I fix it?   I moved a Windows 2008 R2 VM from a 5.1 ESXi host to an ESXi host 5.5 using vCenter Converter Standalone.  The c: / drive system passed largely to where I now have to extend the volume.  Is this normal/expected behavior?  Perhaps the conversion/move creates temporary files I can delete?

  This is not the expected behavior.

  Size of the disk is defined during the conversion and which will not increase by its own during conversion.

  Now, you need to V2V, if you want to reduce the volume.

  Its possible that a another calculation, or condition is their use. If you are sure that this is not the case and you can't remove them then there is a glitch inside more. In the past, I've erased it by opening the workbook in office and delete them there.

• Windows 2008 R2 VM do not correctly restart after manual failover

  I'm having a problem where my W2K8 R2 VMs are not stop / correct commissioning after a failover.

  I have 2 servers in my group (2 x HP DL380 G7) running on ESXi 5.0.

  The administration server is an HP DL180 G6 running VCenter 5.0.

  I have two VMotion & configured HA.

  All virtual machines are linking my drive (HP P2000) FC array and my two ESXs have access to LUNS configured on my disk array.

  If we test failover HA...

  What we do is, we have x amount of virtual machines running on ESX1 and an amount x of virtual machines running on ESX2.

  Manually power on ESX2 shut down us to see if the virtual machines running on ESX2 migrate correctly ESX1.

  The VMs TO migrate ESX1 after disabling ESX2.

  But when they are migrated and restarted on ESX1, which VMs will tell you something on the lines of: "Windows has not shutdown correctly. You want to start in safe mode / normal mode / prompt etc. »

  Someone has an idea what might be causing this? I never had this before.

  I checked with one of my colleagues, and he has not seen it before either.

  All virtual machines in question have the VMWare tools installed on them.

  And for the monitoring of the virtual machine settings are for the 'VM' and 'Application Monitoring'.

  That is right.  An HA event will restart a virtual machine.  He cannot stop him from the accident.  Windows will crash.  The NTFS journal will usually protect file system issues, as it does with physical windows.  HA gives you just the protection against material defects, provides high availability, but not of fault tolerant, in itself.

  VMware FT will run a vm on two different hosts at the same time to ensure protection against this, but you are limited by vCPU.

  If you go into your BIOS under the system information window, you should get a model number.

  Or you can use this scan to HP tool to see if you can automatically detect your model number.

• cloning of windows 2008 R2 Server without reactivation

  Hi all

  I'm trying to create an image of Windows 2008 R2 sysprepd using the vmware, but after cloning, I asks me to activate windows (I use a volume with a VL of Windows version license key). Initially, I turn it on but after cloning I have to reactivate. This occurs regardless if sysprep was run or not. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to fix this? I try to avoid reactivating Windows, so I don't have to start contacting Microsoft, after reaching the number of activations.

  I have not been able to locate a post with the same subject, however if there is one please let me know where to find it.

  I have also re-installed Windows 2008 for Mac and am having some problems that have been absolutely perfect beforehand.
  I'm unable to open or save attachments in entourage document (pdf, .doc, .docx, excellent, .ppt, etc.) and I am unable to change as well.
  I checked for available upgrades and you have installed those who came. Can someone help me out here?
  I also have problems transfer contacts and emails from my gmail account to entourage.

  I don't know why, but I keep getting this error code no matter what I do.  It seems that the upgrade has completed, but when I connect to the box I have 'Installation failed' with the error code "DS_S_SUCCESS (0x0).  It is not sensible for me as this success would be good right?

  I managed to install SP1 in a different area of Windows 2008 R2 as well.  So I do not understand why it would fail.

  In any case, the error code appears when using the stand-alone installer for x 64 SP1.

  After reset manually Windows Update and then attempt the update through Windows Update, it worked.
