  • OfficeJet 6210: Officejet 6210 do print after upgrade to 8.1 Windows

I've reluctantly Windows 8 upgraded to 8.1.  And now, my Officejet 6210 not print.    When you are prompted to print, the printer icon appears in the toolbar showing employment is printing, or, a message appears indicating printing, but nothing prints. The printer is the default printer.  There is nothing in the queue.  I checked if the printer is paused or offline.   I ran "HP print and scan doctor" repeatedly indicates that everything is good and the printer works fine.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the CD software.  I downloaded the driver from HP/support.   I stop and restart the printer spooler.  I disconnected the firewall.  I unplugged and pluged the 2 USB of the computer and the printer.  The computer and the printer was arrested over and over again.

    What else could be?

    Help!

Hello! Welcome to the @matt_2 forums

I read your post on printing problems, you've had since the upgrade to Windows 8.1.

I checked some information and as you can see below, the Officejet 6210 is only supported by a Windows Update, which means that you can try to run all your Windows updates and try to print again. If the printer still doesn't print, you would look in an upgrade of the printer at this time. If you want to call us to see what are your options for the printer, I'll leave the details below.

I hope this helps, have a great Monday

  • Cannot network officejet 6210 to windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit xp

    Hi all

Thanks in advance for any help to solve my current problem.

I have a Dell XP desktop with a HP 6210 installed via USB.  It works very well.

    I have a laptop HP (G60 - 247 CL) upgraded to Windows 7 (64-bit).

When I try to print wireless from my laptop documents go into the queue, but does not print.  My laptop sees the printer but it says the printer is offline (it isn't).

I guess I have to install a driver 64 bit Windows 7 on my desktop (XP), so that when my laptop tries to connect to the printer, it can use this driver.  However, the XP Web site I cannot download this driver.  He said that it is already available in the Windows 7 software.  But my XP machine requires the driver 64 bit on it so my laptop can use this driver.

Hope this makes some sense.  Once again, thank you in advance.  I'm starting to lose sleep about it.

    Hi John,.

There is no software driver full of features for Win XP 64-Bit. Follow the steps outlined in the document below to install a basic print driver.

    Hello

Try a new installation of the plugin flash/ActiveX as follows.

First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  After this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

When the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

If the above is not correct the problem, try the following.

First of all, download and run the uninstall program of Shockwave on the link below.

    http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/Shockwave/Uninstall/Win/sw_uninstaller.exe

After this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has completely recharged, download and install the latest version of Shockwave on the following link.

    http://get.Adobe.com/Shockwave/

Once again, after the installation, restart the laptop.

There is no comprehensive software features for Windows 7 for your printer available on the HP support web portal. You can try to use the 64-bit of Windows Vista software incompatibiity mode. It may or may not work.

Windows 7 is not an operating system that is supported by your printer. You may be able to install the base driver with the use of the HP printer install wizard for Windows 7. The base driver will allow printing features, but the scan and copy will not work.

    Hi zock01,

    Thanks for letting me know.

I checked on our lab and the generic drivers are listed below for window 8 to add to see if this will allow you to print.

Go to the start screen, the type (menu tiles) in "Devices and printers", select settings, click devices and printers.
Click on add a printer in the upper part.

Select "the printer that I want isn't listed."
Click on 'add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.

    Click Next.
Select "use an existing port," select "USB" in the menu drop-down.
    Click Next.
Select "HP" in the column on the left and on the right, select 'Officejet Pro PCL3 class pilot.'

You can also try the "HP Photosmart PCL3 class driver" or "HP Deskjet PCL3 class pilot."

    Thank you.

  • USB-6210 is loaded as Firmware Loader instead of correct device

When I plug my new USB-6210 windows it loads as a "Firmware Loader" rather than the device. As a result, MAX does not recognize the device. Yes, I have the latest drivers, and Yes, I have already read through the other posts on the support sites. Charger to the unit service and the configuration service manager are both "started." Please advise!

    Solved.

The cause was that McAfee had blocked the 'NI PAL Service Manager', (NIPALSM. (EXE). Apparently, this caused "OR loader Service device" stop running properly, which caused to turn the failed system to correctly recognize the USB-6210. Other symptoms included:

    1. a failure to expose a chassis cDAQ correctly installed or it is plugin in MAX. The chassis has appeared in Device Manager on the computer as a data acquisition device OR, but will not appear in the list of devices in MAX.

    2. the device loader Service would not start automatically. If the service has been started manually it would not work or it would just 'Stop' itself.

These questions were tested on a laptop Dell Latitude running Windows 7 proffessional, developers Suite 2013, MAX 5.4 and McAfee version 6.0.0.

  • USB-6210 voltage divider Calibration questions

I'm trying to calibrate 14 tensions that I read from a voltage divider in 14 channels of a device USB-6210. Attached is an Excel spreadsheet of data I'm trying to understand. On the bottom of the sheet, I applied the same voltage to all channels and draw the raw tension for all channels and the differences between the expected voltage and voltage of raw. I find that these differences are not constant but linear I do not understand. I then use the basic linear function to find the factors in the top of the worksheet. Therefore, in the upper part, I read the input voltage by using a probe high voltage and voltage of Labview which has been adapted by the linear function of base in the background.  Most of the multiplying factors are ~ 1000 as expected, but the tensions for the last 4 channels are significantly different and are not linear for the last two channels. I mounted the two worst voltage channels with polynomial which is ok but not make any sense. Does make sense to anyone. I'm using Labview 9.0.1 and Windows 7. I ran Diagnostic Utility for the acquisition of data on the device and it passed all tests. I looked into the issue of ghosting, but the criteria seem not valid here because of tension in the neighbouring country of the channels is small. I also enclose the VI that supports voltages raw to show how these functions are used. According to me, the results are stable and precise, but I can't explain the above mentioned discrepancies.

The problem was solved by changing the sampling frequency in the DAQ assistant. I think the default frequency is 1 kHz and I had given up to 750 Hz. By lowering the frequency 150 Hz, the capacitor is allowed time to discharge so that no ghost image occurs. In summary, the question always was ghosting and solve the I: question

-Removed in the wizard DAQ, channels that have been disconnected and therefore not used.

-Change the wiring to the DAQ assistant by sending the low voltage in channel 1 and the second lowest voltage on channel 2, etc.

-Change the sampling frequency of 1 kHz to 150 Hz to let the capacitors discharge time.

  • NEITHER USB-6210 driver for win 98

    Hello

    I have a question.

I use an old .vi made in BT 4.0.1 with DAQcard-700 + old laptop (256 MB RAM) and windows 98.

My intention is to change the map DAQcard-700 with NI - USB-6210. on the same platform. What version of driver DAQ should I install?

I have already installed to. DAQ 6.9.3, but drivers are not automatically install for USB DAQ 6210. Nor in the list of supported cards, there is no supported USB card. Although windows 98 shouts for drivers.

    Thanks in advance.

This certainly doesn't work. The 6210 requires DAQmx and the first version of LabVIEW who supported DAQmx was version 7.

  • Reliable detection of USB-6210

I have a 6210 USB that I use on a HP laptop. If the USB-6210 is plugged into the laptop at the start, the USB-6210 is not detected by MAX and is unusable.

If I unplug the unit, the beeps of the computer (the usual beep when you unplug a USB device) and plug in again, the computer will beep again, but the USB-6210 is not always detected by MAX.

If I wait until the computer starts before connecting the USB-6210, then it works OK. On two other identical laptops (purchased at the same time, the identical devices and software), the USB-6210 works well if it is plugged in before or after startup, so there is something different about this laptop in particular, but I don't know what.

    Any suggestions?

I tried to uninstall completely OR-DAQmx and reinstall, but this did not help.

I use Windows XP, SP3, portable OR DAQmx 9.3.5 on all three computers.

    Thank you

    Select this option.

    Hi @Beeky27,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that your HP Officejet 6210 won't print from your Windows Vista computer. I am pleased to see that for you!

First of all, I would make sure that the full feature software and drivers are installed, by downloading it from this link: HP full feature software and drivers. Then I would run the HP print and Scan Doctor, to ensure that everything works.

Let's start with these steps and go from there!

    I hope this helps!
