Windows 7 64 Bit update error Code 8E5E03FE
I just bought a new PC running Windows 7 64 bit and made my first run updates of Windows very well, that everything installed OK. Then, most of the updates and everything I try they fail with "Error 8E5E03FE", help on Windows itself is absolutely useless with this problem and I tried almost EVERY solution I can find elsewhere on the internet for the same problem and have gotten nowhere.
I tried to install the updates with a clean boot and firewall off etc which did not help at all. I also tried to download the files manually from Microsoft Download Center and every update still does not work.
My system is BRAND NEW, so I don't understand what the cause of the errors and four updates are updates to security I want to install successfully.
Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated.
Once more the error code is 8E5E03FE and numbers that are not updated are:

Thanks in advance.
Try this-
- Click the Start orb, type cmd in the field search programs and files , right- click cmd.exe, and then click run as administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
- At the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each one. Please include spaces as orders must be exactly as planned. You can right- click on the prompt and paste these, too:
net stop cryptsvc
Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2\edb.log *.tst
net start cryptsvc
output
See if the system can update now. If it still can not, please copy & paste the last lines of 50 or more WindowsUpdate.log in your response.

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit: Windows Update error Code 8E5E03FA
Okay, so I got Windows Update problems now for at least two months. I have worked with Microsoft technical support by e-mail and phone, but so far have had no luck, so I was hoping someone here might have an answer or an idea.
My computer has started giving 8E5E03FA error Code whenever I try to install windows updates. It would also sit at a standstill for always "checking for updates... "when I start updating windows. She has also always updates installed during shutdown, even if they never seem to install correctly. To try to remedy this situation, I tried a clean boot, I tried to use the tool of analysis of Windows 7, I tried to download the updates manually (they wouldn't install with error C80003FA), I tried to use the fixit tool to reset update windows (in aggressive and non-aggressive mode), I tried to manually reset windows update I ran ' sfc/scannow' (which has found errors that it could not solve), I tried an upgrade on the spot, and finally, I tried a clean install.
Once installed the clean, with nothing else installed, it wouldn't install updates, new fails with the error Code 8E5E03FA. It installs the office updates very well, he moved some other updates of the ms software very well, it installs the driver updated very well, but it seems not be able to install windows updates at all. At this point, there are 44 sitting in the pending updates, updates will be installed, which cannot be.
My computer also takes a lot of time to load completely once connected. The Office will be, but my anti-virus and the wifi won't start or connect to between 3-5 minutes after the connection, and trying to open anything during this period will not work. It seems that something is happening in the background that I'm not aware of.
Before the clean install, I ran the Windows 7 compatibility check and checked everything. So I'm at the end of my rope here, I don't really have any ideas on what to do. I put the windows update log and cbs logs if this will help.
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

I have a laptop that I use mainly for cloud computing and travel. I have much stored on the hard drive itself and I spent hours trying to solve the problem regarding
Windows can't check for updates, error code 800FFFF.I tried some of the recommendations varied on this site, but so far without success.
If I just wipe my computer, and then start reinstalling everything from below upwards, will that solve the problem? I know it sounds drastic, but I'm willing to do, and hopefully learn something in the process.
I'm not computer specific read and write... so it would take me hours, wading through all the different corrections before as I find one that works. That's why I'm considering a reformat.
I checked for malware and repeatedly tried to system update readiness tool.
Any thoughts?

Windows 7 1 800700 update error code
It is with Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. When you try to update. I get this error code and it won't dl/install updates. I never had this problem before and she appeared just not the case. No idea how to solve this problem?
OPTION A: For individuals, please visit the Microsoft Solution Center and antivirus security for resources and tools to keep your PC safe and healthy. If you have problems with the installation of the update itself, visit the Microsoft Update Support for resources and tools to keep your PC updated with the latest updates.
Buying to meet problems installing Microsoft security updates also can visit the following page for assistance:https://consumersecuritysupport.microsoft.com/
For more information about how to contact your local Microsoft subsidiary for security update support issues, visit the International Support Web site:http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx
For enterprise customers, support for security updates is available through your usual support contacts.
OPTION B: There is a good chance that you see the effects of a hijackware infection.
Also available via the homepage of Support of consumer safety: https://consumersecuritysupport.microsoft.com/
Otherwise...
1. see if you can download/run the MSRT tool manually: http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
NB: Run the FULL scan, not analysis FAST! You may need to download the MSRT on an uninfected machine and then transfer the MRT. EXE to the infected machine and rename it to SCAN. EXE before running it.
2A. WinXP-online Windows Live Safety Center scanner 'Protection' (only!) in Mode safe mode with networking, if necessary:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/howsafe.htm
2B. Vista or Win7-online this scanner instead: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm
3. now run a thorough check for hijackware, including registration required before a proper Court, logs don't here. DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!
I can recommend the assistance of experts available in these forums: http://spywarehammer.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?board=10.0, http://www.spywarewarrior.com/viewforum.php?f=5, http://www.dslreports.com/forum/cleanup, http://www.bluetack.co.uk/forums/index.phpand http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30
If these procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, good reputation and stand-alone computer (that is, not BigBoxStoreUSA or Geek Squad) repair facility.
Good luck!

Hello drjoe_anzaldua,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum.
Usually the "Windows is unable to Check For Updates" error message produced always of the blocker window update connection attempt.
1. first of all, please check that there is no any third-party firewall preventing Windows Update to communicate with "update.microsoft.com.
2. check if Windows Firewall is blocking the update of Windows.
Please see the following article for connection errors:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/836941
836941. you may encounter temporary connection errors when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update to install updates
After following the steps of troubleshooting in the article, if you still get an error message, thanks for posting again so that we can help you.
