Windows 7 activation notifications popping up on old PC

We have an unusual problem with some W7 workstations using Maks.  The problem is that we have an abnormal number of PCs suddenly asking to be activated.  We are able to activate successfully, however the guest seems to come back.  The event viewer is clean and we have also some problems activating Office 2010 as well.  The common thing only is it seems to be on the last 2 days and it is not always Windows, sometimes it's the office.

I don't know how to solve problems, we do not get an error upon activation.

It is also a great place to start to solve the MAK (Multiple Activation Key) error codes:

  • Windows Vista active again and again

    * original title - Windows Vista active more and more and more and (you get the idea) *.

for 3-4 months, at least once or twice a week (currently twice now with 3 days now) VIsta started in a black screen, stating that "this copy of Windows is not genuine" with a dialog box indicating the Activation succeeded.

Why Vista has suddenly decided to activate so often? OS is fully legitimate, fully serviced, all the installed updates blah blah.

As such, I have no problem with the activation screen popping up, my main concern is if the activation of MS servers decide my product key was activated too many times and decided to tell me to go away (to say politely!), which would be pretty annoying because nothing on my hardware spec has changed over the last 4 months , and the only significant change was a year ago when I upgraded my HD because of an impending failure alert (SMART State). RAM, processor and motherboard were the same items from the first installation.

Not quite the answer to what I'm asking, system started, decided to reactivate and confirms thus reactivated, I want to know is why he had to reactivate again and again and again...

This can be caused by a number of things - usually an anti-virus scan of the system at the same time that the licensing service is trying to verify the activation status.
Nothing to fear (usually) - but if it persists, or the notification remains standing, you should run a report of MGADiag (when the notification is displayed) and post it here.

A few years ago, I bought a pre built PC and specified Windows XP Pro to electrify with her. This machine died years ago and sat idle, however, I have now rebuilt a machine using parts of this machine plus another and reinstalled my copy of XP Pro. Although I don't have the original key sticker, I used keyfinder to get an account rendered my key and then disappeared on Windows activation, which failed to activate. Because it is an automated service, I have no way to talk to Microsoft and this machine does not connect to the internet, its used just as a word processor now. My copy of XP Pro has been recativated a couple of times over the years when wiping once and replacing a faulty hard drive, but it is a genuine version, purchased by me, used on a single computer. Go to PC settings to activate Windows. ». I right click on my computer > properties and I can clearly see that Windows is activated. Also when I go into computer settings, enable option isn't here, as it is shown in the help screen (F1). How to solve this problem? Any suggestions?

  • Active notifications activating several times

    Hey everybody,

Today, I noticed a strange behaviour and I was wondering if it was normal.

I have Active Notifications turned on, and turned Gmail and other services to notify me through the feature. Whenever I have an email or other notification waiting for me, Notifications Active lights several times to the top of the screen every 10 seconds or so to warn me, even when the appliance is not moved.

Isn't this option only supposed to activate when you pull the phone out of your pocket, pick it up or move it slightly?

    Nope-

If the phone is in place screen it at intervals will show the clock and new notifications you get. The only time that the screen will be turned off completely is when the phone is the screen up or down in a pocket / at an angle.

You can set hours when it goes off: settings-> active notifications-> to sleep at night. The purpose of this is so you can look at the phone and get a snapshot of your info without having to press a button.
