Windows 7, adobe reader software crashing, uninstalling, re-installing, breaks down (error #150210) opening aid?

I have installed and uninstalled adobe reader many times now, it crashed when opening a PDF file.  The error code is #150210, and I followed some of the messages online with no luck.  In fact, I did one and it lasted a day, but when I got home, he crashed again.  I really need to open PDF files.  Someone at - it suggestions.

Don't know if this will help you; but these are things that help prevent Adobe Reader from crashing...

  • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
  • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
  • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
  • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

The problem with Adobe Reader isn't the popularity or 'poor user comments', it is because there are several security issues with Adobe products, which never seem to get fixed. Most web browsers have their own daughter PDF readers these days, which allow the user to view these files in the browser without needing a plugin.

  • Several copies of the Adobe Reader software are open by Windows Explorer without any request

I have a PC using Windows XPproSP3 as its operating system.  Adobe Reader v10.1.3 is installed on my machine. When to use Windows Explorer to view a directory containing several *. PDF files and I ask then my mouse over a file and a simple left click to select this file, Windows Task Manager shows me that the system immediately starts opening copies of AcroRd32.exe (in pairs) and continues to do so until the PC is out of memory.  The PDF in question is not actually opened.

  • Everything was fine until my Windows 10, lost the start feature, if I ever go back to Windows 7, in this process, I lost my Adobe Reader software, I tried about ten times with different versions and different locations, all with the same download error

Please forgive me for not knowing how to use this forum, I am an old man and not good at computers, I called Adobe, they said it was my only hope!

    Sorry to repeat

Everything was fine until my Windows 10, lost the start feature, so I had to go back to Windows 7, in this process, I lost my Adobe Reader software, I tried about ten times with different versions and different locations, all with the same error message that is download "the feature you are trying to use is on an unavailable network resource"... are looking for It seems that it does not find when I search there, and I no longer seem to have the AcroRead.msi... the most difficult file, I try, I get deeper and deeper into things I don't know... I am looking for a simple solution!

When it gets to this point, it is probably better to start from scratch.

First of all, download, install and run Adobe Reader cleaning tool to get rid of all remains little. Here is a link to the tool: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

Then go to the following link to download the full installer for the reader.

  • I have windows 7 and I use adobe reader and adobe pro and apparently my pro adobe blocks my adobe reader software.

Now when I open a PDF file on a site that I use for work, she now comes up as a separate downloaded PDF instead of a Web page that I can change and submit. I don't know why it suddenly does not work. I try it in IE and Firefox (only two browsers, the site works in) and I still have the same problem. When I call the technical support Web site, they said my Adobe Pro blocks my Adobe reader software and they can not help me, but I should uninstall my Pro to be able to reuse my player. BUT I need my Pro for work. What can I do that does not involve uninstalling my pro? In addition, other support persons tech showed me how to change the addons in the browsers and how to change settings in the player so that they interact with the site, it does not solve the problem.

Acrobat Pro is delicate the same modules of browser like Adobe Reader, and you don't need both.

    Hi rainwater63,

This problem may occur if there is an incorrect setting in one of the following registry subkeys:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 322756 How to back up and restore the registry in Windows

Check the Microsoft KB article below which talks about a similar issue with Microsoft programs. You can give it a try and check if it works.

You receive an "Error 1606" error message when you try to install or remove a program from Microsoft
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/886549

If the step above does not resolve the issue, I would say that you install the Windows install cleanup, then run the cleanup utility from the start menu and then remove the entries for the software, and then restart the computer for the changes to take effect and now try to reinstall the software and check.

Description of the Windows Installer Cleanup utility

If the steps above fail then I would suggest that you try to publish your application in the adobe forums, check out the link below

  • I think that my adobe reader software is a 'virus '?

I need help! Everytime I open I get a "virus" that "removes" all adobe reader software, I mean, it's that I can't do anything: open the Task Manager, command prompt, chrome, avg etc. To fix it I have run Registry Repair and "suits" but when I open the software adobe reader again returs DIF. I tried to uninstall, but nothing (when I try normally it says I do not have access, and then I tried with a program called windows install cleanup, it deletes it but is not "disappear" what should I do? it gives me the error of 0xc00142, if that helps.)

See if it will remove them with this tool.

Then, run this tool even if it was not withdrawn.

Download the free version of this tool. First check the updates and then run a full scan.

Try to remove again if she had not uninstalled.

    Replace Adobe with this player.

P.S. Never, ever use a registry cleaner. They are snake oil and do more harm than good.

  • I can't print from powerpoint, excel, adobe reader software. Selection of the default printer does not stick

Lenovo thinkpad T410s, stock, windows 7 64, ms office 2007, adobe reader, all day

Cannot print to a PictBridge compatible printer (including print them as pdf, xps, etc.) of powerpoint, excel and adobe (at least). This is what happens when I try to print:
-excel, I get the error "current printer is unavailable". When I say ok, it appears a box displays the available printers (updated from the printer list and shows new printers if I install, removes those I removed/uninstalled), but I chose one, say ok and it just goes back to the same error
-powerpoint: I get the error "no printer is installed.
-Word: printing, but it does not show a default printer (drop initially empty). the list of printers (once that you pull-down) remains up-to-date
-adobe reader software: poster old printer printer list and the default is not updated. When I select and press on print, it gives error ('no page selected')

I have read that sometimes happens when there is no default printer selected. It's true. I select a default printer, but it doesn't seem to stick. When I run the troubleshooter to fix - it, he confirmed that he could not set default printer (and then gave me some unnecessary insulting suggestions, like going to the site of the printer manufacturer, or fix - it)

I uninstalled reinstalled all printer drivers except the default virtual printers (printing of the document, ms fax, pdf etc.). I checked that the spooler is running (in services)

What can I do to recover the printing feature?

It seems as if it was a corrupt user profile. In the new user profile things seem to work. Thank you. Still a lot of work just to work in the new profile, but not quite as bad as from scratch
