Windows 7 - attachment

Original title: Tracey

When I send an email with an attachment 186 MB I get note that there is not enough memory.  How can I email file like this? Thanks for your help.

I don't know of an ISP in the world that would allow you to send a 186 MB attachment. Common limits ISP range from 5MB to 50MB. You must download to a file sharing site and then just email a link to it. OneDrive maybe. Photobucket so it's photos or video.

  • How can I download a Windows doc (attachment) of my email from google on my desk?

    HI -.

I am trying to approve changes on a Windows (attachment) doc in my gmail.  The first time around, I made all editions (Editor sent me edits for my manuscript in Word Tracker), saved and renamed the file - now I can't find it anywhere!  I'm not a computer expert, but I think now since it is an attachment it probably would not 'save' to my docs.  It's out of habit I've renamed and saved, etc..  I don't want to repeat the same mistake, but I don't know what to do.  I went back to the original attachment and no changes have been made.  However, I went into my Google docs and the changes were there, but they were changes that the editor has done; It offered the opportunity to reject me or by selecting the alterations I wanted (because I was not in the word itself, so no word Tracker), as well as the format was a bit off.  Very strange.  I do not use Google docs, but I thought I'd take a liquidator, Word is my main goal.  My Publisher uses only the word Tracker.  She suggested that I move the attachment to my office instead of opening it in an e-mail message.  I'm confused!  I want to just make my changes safely, keep my manuscript and send it for final approval.

    Help?  Anyone?  Thanks in advance.

By default, Windows Mail saves attachments in your Documents folder. For more information, see this article:

  • Windows mail attachment problem-don't see attachment sign on the preview pane

In my windows mail, I see attachment sign on the preview pane, so whenever I have need to double click that mail and open the attachment. Pls Guide.

It is a known problem if you installed IE9.  There is no solution.  You can either uninstall IE9, or you can continue to open the mail in a separate window to save attachments.  Moreover, with IE9 installed, the default font specified under Tools | Options | Read is no longer accepted and if you want to change the default font, you must change it in IE via Tools | Options | Fonts and then set the font here.

  • Unable to open or save files from Windows Mail attached.

    My problem:

Windows Mail on a new Vista system (for me)... I had been using Outlook Express and miss me him now three feaures: compose of 1) ability to open and save attachments, 2) semi-automatic recipient and copy 3) invisible on screen. Feature missing #1 is a showstoper.

    ---------------------------------------from Q&A screens------------------------------

Windows Mail blocks certain types of file attachments that are commonly used to spread e-mail viruses, such as files with the following file name extensions: .exe, .pif and .scr files. IfWindows Mail blocks an attachment in an e-mail message, the information bar displays a message letting you know he did and list the attachment that has been blocked.

I know that I need programs such as Word files .doc to open .doc attachments, but above characters fat not yet past.

Open Windows Mail by clicking the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Mail.

Click on the Tools menu and then click Options.

Click the Security tab, clear the do not allow attachments to the opening or recording that could potentially be a virus check box, and then click OK.

The above could not solve the problem.

    So. I'm stuck.

1: you get the message that Windows has blocked access to the attachment, or it does not work? All file extensions or part?

2: tools | Options | Send. The corresponding checkbox is checked? Note that only 29 addresses are remembered. See for more information.

3: CCI works exactly as in OE.

    • To use the functionality of the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy), in a new message window, click View | All headers and type the addresses separated by a; Or: Click the button to. You will see your list of contacts and the choice to put them in the To, CC, or BCC field. Click on an address, and then click BCC to add it. Repeat for all of the contacts you want. (Note: most of the providers have limits as to how many messages you can send both a. 25 is common, but it varies).
    • Put your own address in the box to. That's the only name/address that any recipient will see. If you leave the field empty, some people may not receive e-mail because of message rules they put in place, or restrictions imposed by their ISP.
    • You can also make an entry in the address book using your e-mail address, but put something like the mailing list in the area of the display.

How you try to add an attachment?  Try to compose a new message and then drag the file on top of the new message window to attach or use Insert | Attachment.  They both fail?  Make sure that your antivirus software is not interfereing.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

You could also try to compact and repair the database of WinMail to see if this has an effect (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

    g. press ENTER.

    h. check the column data of automatically Images Inline said 0x00000000 (0)

  • There is no diamonds next to the name of the windows in the window menu.

When I reduce a window, I don't see a diamond next to the window menu. I see the diamond next to page name in the menu of the icon in the dock, but not in the menu of the window itself, which is what I use to select windows. Attached are pictures of the menu icon dock vs the window menu.

I want to know whether or not the windows are reduced. I reduce windows that I don't need right now, and I don't want to have to scan the list of all the windows to find what I want, I want to know which windows I still have maximized immediately.

However, I am interested in Firefox now on another machine, and it is not here do either, so it is possible, is not a behavior that is from Firefox, only Chrome and Safari.
