Error 10 64-bit of Windows 7 (Windows error 1114)
Hello.
I have two problem with iTunes and iCloud boot on my laptop with Windows 64-bit 10.
1. If I run iTunes 12 (last 64 bit version of Apple's site), then error message: "Error 7 (Windows error 1114)" and the application has not begun.
10 latest updates WIndows. Uninstall all Apple applications (how completely reinstall to find on this site) and install iTunes, but have the same error.
.NET framework in Windows exists (if I try to install v4 or 4.5, then displayed the message: "you have the latest version of the application").
Try to install iTunes user account with privileges to administrator and single user with the feature "Run as Administrator".
2. after the 'iCloud for Windows' update, if I start application and on the authorization stage, after Apple ID and password to enter appears the entry window of the two-step authentication code, after the authentication code to input in two stages, with message "application stopped" close applications. In the application log Windows have error: "error in the application in module CoreFoundation.dll iCloud. Reinstall the application do not solve the problem.
Sorry for my bad English.
For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.
The more information box has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with third-party software.
Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I'm unable to install updates for iTunes (last successful update was my PC itunes 12.2.2.25 64 bit). The error message I get when you try to run the downloaded exe file from apple is: 'there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your supplier of staff or the package of support ". Please indicate what the problem is and how I can fix. I am not able to backup or synchronize my devices (for example iphone 6 sec) over to my PC as it is said that iTunes must be 12.3 or higher. Thank you - Bryan
Try to repair the Apple Software Update of the programs and features Control Panel, and then reinstall iTunes.

I tried to run windows update for a day now on my new computer, a Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit operating system. I get the error code "800b0100 Windows has encountered an unknown error." I've updated CheckSUR several times and I just get the same error for 3 important updates: KB2416471, KB978601 and KB979309.

Sometimes patches seem to just have a hard time to proceed with the installation. I have a fw for to look you at other things. First of all, your Background Intelligent Transfer Services set to Automaticand started and Windows Update ? You can check these settings by typing services.msc in the search box of the start menu.
Sometimes in order to get patches to install correctly, you must perform these tasks manually.
(1) Download Center to visit Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.
(2) search for each update code that begins with the letters "KB" and followed by a set of numbers (i.e. KB979309).
3) click on the link for the download and then click on download and run. You must accept the agreement and then click on continue.
(4) repeat this process for each download of updates Windows could not install.
(5) to rerun the update from Microsoft, click find updates. If all goes well, it will show that you are completely patched. If this does not work, try to run the Microsoft OneCare safety scanner. Sometimes it will solve problems of hidden registry, or erase viruses can prevent the installation of patches: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm. Click full service scan, and then Quick scan (full scan takes a long time to complete). Try the patches.
Good luck

8024A 000 error code when you try to run Windows Update on Vista 32-bit
I get the above error when you try to run Windows Update on Vista 32 bit.
I use an Asus laptop and have used the Asus recovery cd.I just replaced the old HD (500 gb) as it failed with a 750 GB HD.I tried the SP1 upgrade to SP2 and this causes a "catastrophic failure".Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank youSamThanks for the support. I got the Asus machine this morning and they have corrected the problem in a few minutes by running a short script. In my view, that it is a common problem with Asus and Western Digital HD. Anyway congratulations to Asus. Here, after the service is impressive.
See you soonSam -

Error Code 5 on Inspiron 1501 Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit WinPhlash more battery issue
Hi all...
I installed a FRESH install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on an Inspiron 1501 w / an AMD Turion64 Processor...
I know that I have will have limited support of drivers (I think I have this issued... problem) but my current bios is 1.4.0 and I try to install the newest bios...
When I run WinPhlash it starts... but then, I get the error:
Cannot load the C:\Users\Inspiron1501\Downloads\drivers driver
a16 downloads\2.6.3 bios\PHLASHNT. SYS
Please check your accounts, if you have no administrator privileges,
Please log in again!
Access is denied.
Error code: 5
I have only ONE user on the laptop... and admin priv!
Also... I'm having a battery issue... I was wondering if I missed a previous agreement on this issue...
When I start the system... it shows my battery as being 0% and fill... but when I eject battery and reinstall, it shows then the battery is @ full load, and the battery holds its charge!
THANK YOU ALL! ANY help would be great!
JUST an info... It WAS a matter of having the 64-bit o/s installed...
I installed the 32-bit system and managed to update bios!
BUT the NEW bios do NOT take the battery problem! It is a separate issue, so I'll look elsewhere.
