  • Restore Windows 8 and recover the calendar

I organized my calendar in Windows 8 to take account of my life, appointments of doctors and all.

I did NOT ask for Windows 10, she was forced on me very rudely apparently by MICROSOFT. As I have not asked for it.

I hate that they screwed up everything on my laptop.  In particular, I need my calendar which

has completely disappeared in the screen options and can not be found.

WHY WHY why they do for me.

At the age of 68 and I not trying to reinvent the wheel and I am quite satisfied with WIndows 8.

How can I restore my system to 8 and get my timing BACK.  Please, I beg you.

I need for my meetings and doctors start TOMORROW morning.

So it's useless and I want to prosecute these people to spoil important information that they

    NO RIGHT to do.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

Thank you for details on the issue.

I also like the fact that you want to restore a previous version of Windows (Windows 8) to return to your calendar application.

I suggest you use the steps described in this wiki article created by Stuart W J 26 January 2015 and check if it helps.

    Important notes:

You may have to reinstall some applications and programs. You may lose any changes made to the settings after you have installed a previous version of Windows.

I strongly recommend that you back up all your important files and folders on an external storage device before performing any type of BONE repair, upgrade or recovery.

  • Windows want to format the iPod, iTunes wants to restore, nothing works...

    Hello

I bought an iPod nano 7th generation,

I had iTunes already installed on my pc (surface pro 4 Windows 10).

If I loaded the iPod with a phone charger, then I plugged into my computer, and two things prompted, 2 first messages from Windows Explorer, saying that the iPod needs to be formatted, then iTunes says that the iPod is corrupted and must be restored.

So I ignore windows messages and I restored the iPod to iTunes (you download the latest version of its software), but whenever the restoration is finished and iTunes is waiting for the iPod restart, it began in the early, saying it needs formatting and iTunes says the Windows device is damaged.

I have tried everything, formatting of the iPod, uninstall the drivers, reinstall iTunes, delete the letter of the Disk Manager disk (although the iPod is shown in RAW format).

Don't know what to do anymore.

    Anyone?

Try to get someone running iTunes on Windows 7 to restore the device for you. There seems to be a problem with recent versions of Windows 10 reports falsely iPods as having a corrupted disk when they don't. This can prevent the restore process to complete successfully. You can also try a complete tear down and rebuild iTunes, in case there is a different reason for your question. See the second box in troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows Update for more details.

  • Calendar Windows Sidebar gadget is orange and no date

I have a HP IQ506.  When I'm in my screen, the windows sidebar calendar comes with the computer is visible but is orange and not dates.  When on the screen of my husband, his calendar appears as it should.  How can I get my calendar to show up properly?  Help, please.  I'm so frustrated by such a stupid gadget.

If it's just the calendar gadget that gives you trouble, you should be able to simply re - record a single. DLL to rectify a calendar gadget that looks like this,

First remove the calendar gadget existing, and then click Start or press on the key and type cmd but don't hit. Search for CMD in the list above and right-click and select run as administrator. Provide the credentials if necessary.

    The open command window, type.

    Regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll
... and click on . You will receive a popup confirmation as follows,

Restart the computer and add the calendar on the desktop gadget. It should now work as follows,

If the gadget still does not work, you can try a much more aggressive approach to my solution on this page.
