Windows 7 Home Premium - will continue to be updated for security

Delete it please: problem solved

If you're worried about losing or try 10 create a mirror of your current copy of 7 on an external hard drive or an ssd. Then do the upgrade and see if you like 10. If you don't then just swap the external or clone again.

Personally, I think 10 is just like missing in 8, and even more the operating system of the consumer is not a producer. I certainly wouldn't use 10 for the company. All the stuff of cloud, you can always get while using 7. The whole operating system has the same pattern as this Web site. Crie OS trying to save ram... iphone-esque; Anorexic active Windows.

  • HP does not provide drivers specifically for windows 7 Home premium. He only offeres drivers for Windows 7

Hi, I have just formatated my pc and when I go to the hp page I find dident driveres for justo homepremium x 64 for windows 7 and windows vista... my windows 7 Home premium, I had when I buy my pc...

What can I do if I can find the drivers for homepremium o I just download for windows 7 or vista?

    Original title: windows 7 x 64 homepremium

    Hi Enrique.

Thanks for your post on this forum.

Ideally, most computer manufacturers provide drivers independently different editions of a Windows operating system. This means that the same driver can be used for the operating system Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 ultimate and Windows 7 Enterprise, regardless of their editing.

The only thing you need to check is that it corresponds to the architecture of the operating system (32-bit or 64-bit).

If you use a 64-bit operating system, make sure that you install 64-bit drivers and for the operating system 32-bit, only 32-bit drivers must be installed.

In your case, HP provides the drivers for Windows 7 operating system, and it can be installed on the computer regardless of the different editions of the same operating system. But please make sure that it matches the architecture of the operating system.

Hope it will be useful. Please get back to us if you need help with this query.

  • Tried to update in Windows Vista Home Premium, stuck in the "Configuring updates" and "reboot" loop 11/05/2011

Hello! I have a portable M-6752 Gateway under Vista Home Premium.  It was perfectly functional this morning 11/05/2011.  Then I noticed the sign (of exclamation in a circle) who said the new updates.  So I started the update and thought nothing of it.  It was until an hour later and I realize that my laptop was still updated.

Right now I am stuck in a loop between "Configuring updates: stage 3 of 3-0% complete.»  Do not turn off your computer' and auto restart.
I tried to restart in 'safe mode' and 'safe mode with network.  These attempts did not help.  I'm still stuck in the loop and my laptop is overheating.  The only thing I could do was to be able to.  Fact that several times already.
Fortunately, I have another laptop and is able to ask for help.  Can someone help me?  I'm NOT a technical person.  Thank you.

Thank you, but my laptop WAS running Service Pack 2 when this problem happened.  It has been resolved.  For anyone having this problem, here is my experience and solution.

When I found myself stuck in a loop and my laptop keeps restarting without giving an error message, it began to overheat.  I turned off.  When I turned on it again the screen "Advanced Boot Options" appeared.  I chose 'Safe Mode'.  Then, I went to "Configuring updates...". ».  Machine started himself reboot again.  It happened a few times.  Finally I had to turn the phone off again.  All of a sudden when I turned on again, the "Windows Error Recovery" screen comes on.  There is a choice, 'Launch Startup Repair'.  I chose this.  Machine asked me if it is allowed to create restore point.  Of course.  Then I GOT!  I was saved by Windows self-diagnosis program.
If you are not familiar with the screens that I mentioned, please search 'screen name' and the word 'image' as a whole.  You will see what these screens look like.
Now I realize there is another way to reach the Startup Repair.  When you turn on again, press the F8 key several times.  Which will bring you to the early Startup Options screen.  On advance Boot Options, there is a choice 'repair your computer', scroll down to this choice, press ENTER.
Turning off my machine during the restart is another way to force the "early start Options" screen appears.
I read that some do not have the "Repair your computer" option according to your PC in the screen «In advance Startup Options»  You will need to know how to get to the "Windows Error Recovery" screen.
As a last resort, you can restart Vista recovery disk.  Many manufacturers do not understand that when they send the PC for you.  However, it is available for download for free on the internet.  You can download and make your own within 30 minutes.  I hope this helps!

  • Can I switch to windows 7 Professional 2010 Windows vista home premium? Student offer was only for the Professional upgrade.

I decided, after all the trouble I had with Vista and go back to the factory settings and lost my last two years of my university studies to upgrade for students out of windows 7.

It was great to have a student, discount but it was provided in a professional and my Vista is running with Home Premium.

I bought without really noticing the difference. Before to do anything it can either, it work and if I can't have a refund or ask for windows 7 Home Edition premium to be provided with the offer student?

Hope you can help. Because of the beginning of return to college next week and have files on the office ready and waiting to install.

    See you soon

  • Windows 7 Home Premium will not validate?

If you want to delete everything, that the easy way to do it :)

Just read the manual and use the manufacturer's recommended recovery procedures. It will completely delete the c: drive, so if you have data that you want to keep, you must save in the external storage (external hard drive DVD., etc..)

A repair install is not so easy - and you will have to borrow a record retail WIn 7 of someone to be able to do anyway.

Thanks to all who tried to help. I'm not familiar with how this forum is organized and did not know that I was causing a problem. I understand that this thread is currently disabled. Still, I can't use my computer laptop, but good. After losing $200.00, I guess I'll take it to another place of repair and see what they can do. I refuse to pay for another Windows 7 because Microsoft doesn't want to validate my upgrade. I'm obviously not a savvy individual computer and I don't expect free repairs, but I'm tired of getting ripped off.
    Thanks again,

  • my windows 7 Home premium will let me play a game older because I do not have MSVBV50. How can I work around this DLL problem

MSVBV50. DLL is it com fish windows 7

What is the name of the oldest game? You can download the DLL if you really must. It seems that people get around this problem by finding this file on XP and copy on another computer.

  • I bought my DVD Windows 7 Home Premium, will not be upgraded to Vista Home Premium

I don't get any readings of error that it does not just improve. I put it in my DVD player and nothing happens. Please help I paid $115.00 for this upgrade disc. I also use 32-bit software if this is useful,

The computer is also ejected other disks when you insert them?

If you have another computer - try your DVD of Windows 7 on this computer. Do not install Windows on another computer, just testing to see if it can be read.

  • Windows Media Player in Vista does not work. Installation of Windows 7 Home Premium will fix the problem?

Windows Media Player does not work.  Impossible to use slide show programs, can not open attachments that require Media Player.  Tried to update and couldn't.  Couldn't fix it.

    Hello

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions

If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation
