Windows 7 icon continues his maneuver, no. SOLUTION?

OK, first of all, I know that there are more of these, but I want to solve this problem!

Continue to move my desktop to top left icons!
I tried the following and did not work:

Auto Arrange = off
Align icons on the grid = off (it didn't work neither)
Allow theme change the icons on the desktop = off
I tried to remove some programs did not work =
I tried to reinstall Windows 7 = a few months it worked but then problem
I tried to restore the FULL registry = has not worked, computer is much faster
I tried somthings in the registry under the section Desktop = failed

What it could be I have never see this since Windows 95?
Microsoft, why the problem was not in phase Beta, and why he IS in the final phase?
I don't understand the point to the icon?

How do you have that my comment?  I have the "liberation of the retail" - that is, build 7600, final version, shrink wrapped, to off the shelf, paid for.  You get the idea.

All the things listed by ShellExView are extensor.  In General, Microsoft may not be causing the problem you are experiencing, so look for those highlighted in red.

A few days ago I had the pleasure of studying an error against a report my Windows products.  Specifically, it did not work properly with a 'skin' that has been installed by the manufacturer of a new PC (HP on the urge in this case).  The 'skin' is more than a theme and incorporates the active software in the Windows user interface.  I found this 'skin' to be buggy and cause a lot of problems with Windows because is simply not programmed very well or well integrated.  I mention this because something like that can (and) cause any number of problems such as those that you see, and that a user could blame on Windows itself.  You run a software (for example, Stardock MyColors) which changes the user's Windows interface?

Oh and one last thing: once you get your icons wherever you want, LOG OFF turn it on again.  Windows remembers a lot of things on the desk during logoff or a stop and many users who would otherwise leave their computers on 24/7 never actually disconnects or stop, but instead they restart right after the accidents.

    Hello

    1. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

    2. when exactly you get the error message?

    3. What is the full error message?

    4. which antivirus program is installed on the computer?

    Follow these steps:

Method 1: Run an antivirus with Microsoft Safety scanner scan and check if the computer us is not infected.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Method 2:  To determine whether a third-party program is causing this problem, you can check in a clean boot state.

To help solve problems, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • Satellite P300 - 18 M - Windows Setup cannot continue

Hi, my first post here, hoping for any help.

I recently bought a Satellite P300 - 18 M, from an independent retailer with no return policy. good on the PC is a brand new, sealed, etc and I get the Toshiba standard warranty.
When I do the initial installation I received a message all in settng upward of Windows Vista Home "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error." Windows Setup cannot continue. To install windows click on 'OK' to restart the computer announced then rstart installation. »
I tried a few times more full-time catering and the third HARD drive it installed, but...
either he starts, I get to the password screen then all invent locks, the mouse pointer freezes then the screen becomes full of horizontal lines.

    or

I've had a few times in windows for a few minutes (2-5 minutes) then the mouse pointer freezes, 3 seconds later the entire screen is full of horizontal lines, everything locked can only turn off the coast.
Toshiba software error, so no warranty claim and advised that I buy the DVD (£29.90) that I ordered it, on a delivery of 14 days of recovery.

Any other help or suggestions much appreciated as im not confident of this DVD, being a brand new sealed unit, why corript of Vista in the first place.

    Thanks in advance

    Andy

    Hello

In my view, that the P300 is equipped with the ability to drive HARD recovery. This means that you could restore the operating system of the image that is stored on the HARD drive.
To do this, you will need to power the laptop and must press the F8 key.

A start menu should appear, then you should choose the first option called fix my computer.
Then, you must choose the option called Toshiba HDD recover or something like that. It should be the last option.
This procedure helps you reinstall Vista again.
This facility could be that you can burn the own recovery disk using the preinstalled software called Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.

But if the recovery of HARD drive does not work you will need to use your orderly recovery DVDs and have to restore it again.
If the laptop will not properly work after using Recovery then DVDs I recommend to contact the ASP again and to explain the whole story.

    Good luck

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to your computer, after which the issue started?
    2. don't you also get an error message?

Assuming you are using Windows 7, I would suggest you follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

Disconnect all external devices such as printer, USB key, HDMI enabled devices and check if the problem persists.

    Step 2:

Disable automatic system error reboot and note down the error message you get if any.

    Step 3:

Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

Let us know the status of the issue in safe mode.

    Hello

    1. what changes have been made to your computer before the problem?

Follow these steps and check if they help.

    Step 1:

I would say you rebuild the icon cache and check if the problem persists.

    a. press the keyboard Windows logo key combination + R to bring up the Run dialog box.
    b. type cmd and press ENTER to open the command prompt window.
    c. in the command prompt window, type the following commands pressing ENTER after each line:
    Taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
    attrib-h "%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\IconCache.db.
    del "%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\IconCache.db.
    Explorer.exe

    d. this restart Windows Explorer and rebuild the cache icons as needed.

    Step 2:

Test the issue in a new user account.

    Hello

Defender is NOT supposed to work with MSE, and there is no worlaround.

If you use Norton, AVG, Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials, McAfee, etc. the default action is for Windows Defender must be disabled, that these AntiVirus programs have their own Antispyware Applications.

    There is nothing to worry.

Using both programs at the same time can cause system conflicts, etc.
