Windows 7 Media Player 12.0.7601: album art don't is not displayed even if the column is selected and album art is saved on the drive
I just loaded all my music from my Windows XP system on my Windows 7 system. Each album has album art that appears in "now playing". But when I opened an album in library view and list titles, album art is not displayed even if she is among the columns selected to be shown. All other columns appear and disappear depending on whether I choose them, but the album art is not.
How to display album art? Please don't tell me to switch to playback. It is very unpleasant for me. Even if the album art is displayed there, the space that is takes 2/3 of the screen to keep a small image of the cover of the album. The list of receives securities only 1/3 remaining, so there is not enough space to display more than the name of the track, rating and length. In addition, I don't want to see the sides, but they show that even though I have deselected this column.
Windows 7 SP1 running Windows Media Player 12.0.7601.18741.
HI - in the library WMP view did you check the setting on the box highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below? (Depending on which section you are in you need to 'extended tile' or 'icons')-R.

Windows Media Player will burn a data CD for us but not an audio CD.
Windows Media Player will burn a data CD for us but not an audio CD. We have Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2. Tried another brand of CD, slower burning speed, etc., but still does not. And can not uninstall Windows Media Player and reinstall. Help!
Hi KathyDobrowolski,
1. were you able to burn an audio CD before?
2. what type of file you want to burn?
3. This only happens with a particular file type?
4. are you able to burn CDs with any other application?
5. you receive messages or error codes?
If the song file is protected by the rights of use, these rights may allow for playback of the song on the computer but prohibit burn them on a CD. If the Information button appears next to the song in the burn list, click the button to see more information on the issue.

Check here:
Plug-ins for Windows Media Player
http://www.Microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/plugins.aspx-------------------------------------------------------------
If 64 bits and you need codec.
Read this 1st and go that route, or use the one below. (Vista or Windows 7)
http://www.Vistax64.com/sound-audio/152850-Vista-codec-pack-32bit-64bit-Media-Player-codecs.html
--------------------------------------------------------------------
If 64-bit - can run WMP in 32 or 64 bit mode.
Or try these: download - SAVE - go to the place where your put them RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN.
For 32-bit use these - OR the 32 bit ones listed above which I prefer.
K - Lite Codec Pack 10.0.0 (or newer)
http://www.codecguide.com/Use them for 64-bit:
K - Lite Codec Pack (64-bit) 10.0.0 (or newer)
http://www.codecguide.com/K - Lite now includes BOTH 32 and 64 bits in a single download installable.
Also look for updates, September 6, 2013, was K-Lite Codec Pack 10.0.3
Download and install it after the main program.-------------------------------------------------------------
You know that you use WMP 32 or 64
Change, modify or value 64-bit Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) in Windows Vista x 64 as default (or WMP12 - Windows7)

lost all windows 8 media player files cannot find them not in recycling
Window 8 lost all media player files and they are not in the trash. Have reset computer far before losing the files. Suggestions?
Hello
1. don't you make changes for the media player or the computer before the show?
2 have the music files missing from the library of Windows Media Player (WMP) or their storage folder?
3. are all of your files stored in the same folder? If the file is "deleted from the library only", the real media file remains in its original location. Check settings (under options, tab drive) media player and check the boxes for "add local media files (or remote) to the library when played". Then navigate to the file and read it. WMP will add the file to your library.
Method 1:
You can use the search option and type in *.mp3 (assuming that your files are in this format).Windows will detect then all mp3 files. Note where is your music and then point Windows Media Player so that one or more specific records.
Method 2:
Check the settings of the library in windows media player. Steps to follow:
a. open Windows media player.
b. click on organize.
c. Select Options, select the Library tab.
d. under updates automatic press for file information.
e. Select only adds the missing information.Method 3:
Rebuild the media database and check if that helps. Follow these steps to rebuild the database:
a. press the Windows key + R, and in the search box, type in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player
b. remove the Media player folder.
c. restart the computer, the Media player folder will be automatically recreated. Check whether the problem is resolved.I hope this helps. If you have any other queries/issues related to Windows, write us and we will be happy to help you further.

Hi all
I loaded music from a USB key for the 'my music' folder in the document library, even though I can play music through media player, I can't find a way to create a burn list, because the music does not appear in the media player library - can you please help?
Thank you
Yvonne
No need to copy and paste. Simply add the folder that contains the music files to the library in this same dialog box.

I had to have my hard drive replaced and the company that made him put two versions of 32-bit and 64-bit Vista Home Premium on it. Soon, I discovered that I was getting conflict on my computer and he discovered that the two were on the hard drive. I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 7, but I'm at the stage where it tells me to seek answers on the removal of Windows Vista so that the upgrade can continue. He says that I can not upgrade both on the drive. I know the other option is to do a clean business, but I would avoid this possibility if possible.

Hello
The best way is to clean install and start over.
In addition, it is not legal to have both installed version that the license is for a single installation.
If it is a dual boot with 32 bit and 64 bit installed on different partitions, there would not have been the conflicts you would have never started in one or the other.
See you soon.
