Windows 7, Nvidia not recognized gt650m

My new samsung np550p7c Windows 7 uses integrated graphics. Ran dx diag and it shows a chart intel. NVIDIA gt650m recognized in the Device Manager, but even when disable integrated graphics, windows switches to vga. The drivers are up to date for Nvidia. Any suggestions on how to get work from NVIDIA? Thanks in advance.

You do not disable anything in Device Manager, doing so will result in unintended consequences, that is, your system does not

Hybrid graphics is something relatively new and is used by some manufacturers of PC with a graphics chip built into the motherboard.

My games have been recognizing only the integrated graphics card intel, then I disabled this card in the hope that it would turn to the (unique) Nvidia card that is installed with the latest drivers installed also.

Instead, she sees now that no graphics card is available... when I go into control panel-> hardware and audio, select NVIDIA Control Panel, an error message appears that says:

  • Windows login password not recognized

Original title: sign the password not recognized.  Similar problems are are produced.

Already happened.  Tried to sing in password rejected.  It's the same thing and I him have not changed for a long time.

Log on to another administrator user account and change your password to something that you will remember. Then search for malicious software because these things do not happen by themselves. Or think about who else has access to your computer and may have changed your password without your knowledge.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

If you have another administrative user (see Configuring user recommended at the end of this post) and then you have to activate the built-in Administrator, and then change the password of your user account. All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

If you have a Windows 7 DVD installation (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [press Enter]
NET user [insert here the name of your user account] [insert the new password of user as 1234 here] [press Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

Remove the installation DVD and restart the computer. Now, you will be able to connect to your user account by using the password that you set; for example, 1234.

If you do not have a Windows 7 installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows 7 (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. Get to this menu by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. If you do not have this option, you can make a bootable DVD of Windows 7 repair of the file on this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2009/Windows-7-system-repair-discs/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent asmuTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. If you create the bootable DVD in an older operating system (XP, Vista), you will need to use third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com ) to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data. Windows 7 can burn the .isos natively.

Once you have fixed things, log on to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Windows 7:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. Like XP, Vista and all the other modern operating systems, Windows 7 is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges in Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

  • Windows 7 is not recognized on my laptop satellite

My windows 7 is no longer recognized by my laptop and the button at the bottom of my laptop has been rubbed by far.

Is it possible to fix this or am I required to pay for a new key?

Most Toshiba laptops comes with the operating system preinstalled, with the so-called recovery image. This recovery image contains the operating system, all necessary drivers, Toshiba specific tolls and public services and some additional software. This version of the OS is activated and should not be enabled at all.

The sticker product key belongs to this recovery image and cannot be used for any other OS activation.
I put t know which version you use, but if you use the version installed with original installation disk Microsoft this product key is useless.

If you have created recovery disk using this drive and install original and already active Win7 version. If you want to keep the preinstalled OS you must purchase a valid OS license.

It is possible that the following freeware media

  • Windows Search is not recognizing my entry search

    Hello community!

I looked through of countless forums and messages which have faced the question that I am currently face, and I still have to find a solution to the problem of my PC. The question I have is that I can't get on my file Explorer, or windows search in the home page (I don't know if it's what it's called). I used to get windows BAD IMAGE appearing, and since the anti-virus/malware scan, I did not saw them more. Searches produce no results. It does not say whether or not it finds all files with the name. I try searching for files with my name in TI, 'Windows', '.psd' and many others.

I've done things to try to solve the problem are the following:

    • I am running the latest version of Norton anti-virus and I deleted a few threats that I had apparently. I don't know how Norton stop them before becoming an infection.
    • My Anti-Malware program did not open and I had to uninstall/reinstall to fix the problem. I scanned and deleted/replaced the malicious files.
    • I restored my PC to an earlier date, to see that the problem persists. I was running Windows 8.1 but made to before Windows 8.
    • I installed Malwarebytes and removed potential threats caused by infected registry keys and/or suspicious files found through extensive personal research.
    • I have opened my anti-virus to remove the virus, I had prior to the restoration of the system.
    • I restarted service WSearch in the Task Manager. Also, I stopped and restarted.
    • SearchIndexer.exe continues to disappear from the services window, so I don't know if there needs to be there at any time or if it appears that when you search for items on the search bar.
    • I changed the window Indexing Options to only index what is necessary, but it does not index. It is said currently "0 items indexed.  "Indexing complete."
    • The "files under this drive to have content indexed in addition to file properties," under the properties of my Hard drive is checked.
    • I did all this in administrative mode, in safe mode, with the exception of the search for malware, because it did not start a search at all.

The problem started a few days ago. In my view, that it was before the windows updated to 8.1. I do not install any programs, or download anything in the last week, so I don't know what happened exactly. My brothers and sisters and I would play Minecraft and watch Youtube videos all day on the PC. So I wonder if any kind of malicious software in the PC and prevents my indexing, or if the children have done something for her. But I doubt that. I don't know what to do. As I said earlier, I've been through several positions of other people having the same issues, but I have not had the chance to find the solution, so I come back to the community microsoft for some advice.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I finished the download "All" to search my documents, but I'd rather not have it since I got into the habit of Windows search.

I'll update what I if I remember any more that I took.

    -DM

    Hello DM.

Thank you for the update on the issue.

As I have suggested you to run this command at the command prompt (Admin) not in the immediate window. Then please refer to the steps and the screen shot provided below and try the steps to run the command.

    • Press window and X at the same time.
    • Then, in the list, select (Admin) command prompt.

  • Windows XP key not recognized

I had to perform a recovery on my Toshiba laptop and Microsoft has refused to acknowledge the key of Windows (XP) which was fixed at the base of the computer.  The computerized phone system repeated that the key indicated that the my system has been cloned?  It is impossible that I bought the computer new laptop from PC World a few years ago.  Any suggestions?

If you use the installation media that Toshiba has given you (or you have created some processes on the machine itself, when you bought first it) do set of the product key to the machine (if you still enter one during their process) should be correct.

If you, on the contrary, is turned off and got your own installation media and then try to use the afixed product key to the machine - which may fail (for several reasons).

If this one, let us know and you can do about it.

Try a system restore to select a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

Find your reader you have installed here
Make a right click on the drive-> uninstall
