Windows 7 pre-installed recovery

I have purchase Lenovo z570 idea pad in 2011 in which home premium Windows 7 is pre-installed. But a cause I format my system and installed windows7 professional 32-bit. Now, I got to know that this preistalled Windows 7 can be retrieve or reinstalled by using the product key that came with the system, present to the disadvantage of my system. But I didn't know how to do

Your best option is to download Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, then reinstall it using your product key.

Step 1: Download Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

    Hello

You have very limited options now that you have deleted the recovery partition.

The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But Microsoft only provides these downloads for Windows 7 keys to selling product at retail, not preinstalled OEM product keys (Dell, HP, etc.).

As you have licensed preinstalled OEM (Dell, HP, etc.), contact the manufacturer of your computer to order recovery media that they must provide for a fee, if they still have available which is very doubtful.

Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.

    See you soon.

Thank you very much for your reply and I contact sales in the States and it is possible for me to buy a MX 17 or 18, but it must be shipped to an address in the States. It's ok since we do not have an office in Seattle.

However, as it must then be sent reports to the United Kingdom this means I would pay extra delivery customs cost plus so it would not be worth extra costs involved. For the only options that I can see who is available to me buy a non Dell machine or buy a used machine, on Ebay with low spec with windows 7 installed, or the purchase of a UK machine then installing windows 7 Professional our me however, I understand it's not a simple as that.

I thought it would be a right task replacing one of the computers on our ships, but its clear sound far right forward, why is the possibility to buy the o/s 7 available only to States.

  • I can't activate my Windows XP pre-installed from Dell.

INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY OF REGISTRY WINDOWS XP

I bought my Dell Inspiron 2200 in 2003 online directly from Dell. It came pre-installed with everything and I didn't save anything.  However, now I have to activate it, and although the helpline is to agree that it is a valid key, they can't activiate it because it is not registered.  They also say that I bought XP Pro but I am running XP home - maybe it's because I sent it repaired a couple of times and they are no re-installed the original product.  Note: I bought when living in the United Kingdom and now live in Turkey.  I tried to call the Turkish line of support from Dell, but it says invalid number 00800 353 90002.  Can anyone help? I left the 11 days for activation...

You will probably need to re - install Windows XP.  Unless a recovery Partition is still on your hard drive, you will need to do this using a disc supplied by Dell since it is probably an OEM of Windows version you need to install.   The only source of such a disc would be Dell.  So if you can't get to the phone, try their website.

  • Recover Windows 7 pre-installed license key

    Hello.

I recently bought a laptop (dell e6410) second hand. Operating system has not been installed, and there is no sticker on the laptop (or underneath the battery) on the windows.  I would like to know if the laptop had a pre-installed operating system, and if so, could I get the license that it came with it? I don't have any what recovery DVDs, and there is also no recovery partition.

As I read on the Internet, it could be that the license key is related somehow to the BIOS to keep the license attached to only the computer for which it was intended.

    Thank you.

Hmm... This part of the sentence "buyer beware" comes to mind.  If it does not have the sticker of license on this subject, it does not have a legitimate operating system.  Even if you get a valid license running Belarc or Magic Jelly Bean key, there is no way to know whence this key.

Key is not in the BIOS under Windows 7 (only 8), but the Dell installation media check the BIOS to make sure it's a Dell, it can install and activate, but without a sticker key license, which is not legitimate either.

  • Create a USB bootable Windows 8 (pre-installed on my Samsung series 7), to exchange the SSD HARD drive and re - install.

I would prefer to do a clean install rather than just creating an ISO.  In my opinion, this should be quite simple. normal procedure, but more I'm looking more confused, I am about this.  I really wish that Windows would stop doing things to make my life more difficult.

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

For Samsung: Press the F4 key to the Samsung logo when you turn first.

This should provide the ability to create a recovery media backup on USB or DVD

You should be able to also access through the following measures:

    · Press the Windows key + i on your keyboard to show the charms (if you use a touch screen: touch the right edge of your screen and drag your finger to the left)

    · Click settings

    · Click change PC settings

    · Click general in the left column

    · In virtue remove all and reinstall Windows, click Start

Then follow instructions that will be provided on the screen to reinstall Windows on your PC.

I have a laptop with Windows 7 Professional older and want to keep my programs and files intact and transfer to a new laptop, with Windows 7 Home, pre-installed.

First try the image restore option. If that does not work, use your professional Windows 7 disc and boot from it, delete all partitions, then attempt to restore image.

Don't forget: save your Home Premium installation before doing any of this.

    Hello

I would recommend you take advantage of the offer of discounts for Windows 8.

Normally, it would be better to buy a computer with the latest version of Windows pre-installed because the computer could be certified to run the pre-installed operationg system.

However, in this case, all the computers that are available with the upgrade of $15 are all designed to run the final version of Windows 8.

    Hi all

I bought this machine pre-installed windows 8 for the laptop dell inspiron model 3521, with a friend who stays in Doha, the Qatar. I stay in Pune, Maharashtra, India. When I got my hands on the machine, windows was still not enabled surprisingly. I called the customer service dell Sunday, who confirmed that it was purchased in the Gulf and it is pre-installed windows machine 8. The Executive of the customer asked me to call Monday for anywhere between 09:00 and 18:00 to get the product key.  When I asked my friend about activation, it was completely dropped on activation or reinstallation of windows 8 on top of pre-installed windows 8 OS. I guess he bought the machine pre installed and active windows 8, but somehow, through someone, windows has been reinstalled and the resettlement process could not brought the product key from the BIOS.

Now, as I had fun at hand, because it is Sunday, I searched a few tools retrieve the product key from the BIOS, and I was finally able to get their hands on the product key of my machine, but has not managed to activate my windows using command prompt (using slmgr slui.exe) and user interface. • Need a product key to activate Windows 8 pre-installed on the Samsung laptop

I bought the laptop samsung a year ago, in which Windows 8 was preinstalled.

Now my it requires a product key to activate my windows.

    Where can I find?

    Please help me.

    Hello

You don't tell us the circumstances in which she asks for the PK.

Pre-installed with Windows 8/8.1 the product key on the operating systems (HP, Acer, etc.) is integrated in the motherboard BIOS, so that the problem of sticker joint record lost or worn out is no more.

If you reinstall it must pick up the product key and activate the system automatically.

I suggest that you follow these steps, and brace yourself for a real person explain to the:
