Click Start, type activate, press ENTER.
If this does not work:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

(2) press the ENTER"" key.

(3) select your "country" in the list.

(4) choose the option "activate phone".

5) stay on the phone (do not meet all the automatic guests) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

(6) explain your question clearly to the support person.

  • Windows 7 Pro does not accept any RDP connection

    Hello

I have a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit of the system which was accepting OFFICE connections remotely without problem, but suddenly she stopped serving the RDP connections.
    Things I checked:
    -Three RDP services are running
    -Switched OFF Windows Firewall
-There are no events registered on the host computer and no events logged on the client
-There is no extra installed firewall software
    -Check the port number registry
-Tried to connect the network to the local ip address of the host
-Installed a packet sniffer, but could not see any attempt to connect to the host
-Tried a systemrestore point for back in time
Is there something I can do?

The problematic DRC host really listens on TCP Port 3389 (or whatever port you can have changed)?

  • Windows XP is saying that he must be turned on, but will not accept my activation code.

I have a PC that works with Windows XP for a few years.  It was off for awhile and when turned on, he insisted to be reactivated and will not go forward with windows loading until it has been registered.  Facilities to connect to the internet would not work as it seems to insist on the use of a dial-up access (it doesn't have a modem) and does not connect to my home network which has my broadband connection.  When I tried to activate by using the telephone service, he said that it is impossible to validate my copy as it can be hacked.  It certainly is not hacked, because it is an OEM version that worked for many years.  He refered me to microsoft.com/genuine, but this page doesn't give any help on what to do in this situation.  What should I do now?

original title: my activation code for Windows is rejected.

Interesting - you used an a Dell recovery disk to install XP on a Medion computer.

No wonder, that he does not want to know!

Try using the product key update tool to change the key for that on your COA sticker.

  • Windows does not accept my activation code after you have reinstalled

I had to reinstall windows vista home premium w/sp1 and it tells me that my activation code is already used... This one is the one I eliminated, how do I change my new installation?

You simply need to use telephone activation.

activation by telephone (call of the operator)

    Click the Start button

    in the search box, type

    SLUI 4

    and press the Enter key

Follow the instructions, but when asked what service you need the ansafone phone, don't answer - it should oblige the operator to answer, who can deal with you

  • Necessary staff - Acrobat 9 Pro will not accept serial number

I've recently updated to the Mavericks (I know I know... but not baby!). The only reason why do better that I stopped at Mavericks was to ensure that my CS4 would still work for me (I can't currently upgrade to a new CS'A). Initially, I installed from my disks, but ran into problems starting with InDesign (error code 5 and then say that it was not installed). Acrobat Pro would not accept the serial number, and after that Photoshop and Illustrator arrested for opening and gave error code 150:30.

Because CS4 is an older version, there is no phone support. I went to the cat. He is not much either, just a parrot who repeats what I said - finally didn't so that he could not help me to «go to the forums» I'm on the forum and help very warmly received with uninstalling, cleaning (CC Cleaner Tool, etc...) and reinstall. They advised me to reinstall to a DMG downloaded from Adobe. I did everything above and it works now very well (at least seems!).

My only problem is still Acrobat Pro 9 I remember this as a recurring problem over the years (thanks to a previous operating system upgrade). In the past, I was able to get help from Adobe because at that time, he was not as old. I managed to get someone on the phone who helped me darkly that I can't remember or repeat. In the search on Google and forums to research, it's apparently a problem for a lot of other people - but I have not found an answer that works, just a bunch of frustrated people. I have told me (more than once) that the customer service are the only ones who can finally solve the problems associated with the granting of licences or activation/unlocking serial number - which included a second round to try the phone, then cat and now forums. So here I am again!

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro has been installed with all of the suite CS4 - both times (first from my drive, (deuxieme from the DMG from Adobe). Not as a stand alone, but the license number seems to treat it as one and does not account for more that it has been installed. I have only a serial number on my disks box, which does not work for Acrobat Pro 9. Initial CS4 installation took this serial number, and since it's a CS2 upgrade - it took and serial number. This is not an option in Acrobat Pro. She asked only a serial number.

In desperation (since not getting anywhere with Adobe - so far), I downloaded a key Locator, and he finds the serial number for the installation of Acrobat Pro. But it doesn't work anymore. ??? I noticed that the key finder says 'Acrobat 9.0' not 'Acrobat Pro 9.5.5' as in my applications folder (it is fully updated today - even if I can't open it). I manually applied all the updates to CS4 - as programs no longer work on the newer operating system. There were 23 patches for Acrobat Pro and it took a lot of time to work through the process, so not looking forward to it once again!

I've exhausted most of the tips and troubleshooting tips. I contacted as many sources as I can. I spent more than a week (full time) on this 'project' to date.

What we are supposed to do? We cannot use Time Machine either, it screws everything up by other means...

    Help, please!

(I have no hair left out...)

I went through a lot of stages, misadventures, installs them, reinstall. But I finally solved my problems.

The final installation resolved all the issues with the error: 6 / error: 5 / error: 150:30 and above all, the problem with Acrobat 9 Pro accepts only not my key. It was mostly with my original installation disk, since the beginning of time. I've been lucky (and persistent) enough in the past to get people help me tech workaround. Now, you're on your own - with the help of the forum!

I probably wrote what has worked under the wrong subject (it was actually an update of a forum member who helped me).

So I post it here too, just in case someone else is having a similar problem... and to answer myself. ) I like to wrap things!

I don't know that I've mentioned before... but something else that could make a small difference, was that Java has been pre-installed by the third CS4 install. It was installed after the 2nd installation of CS4 and I don't take her away after having served all things Adobe (as described below).

update of sql server 2005 service pack 3 error code 6D9E Windows update security does not accept the update

    Hey lasdj,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers site!

If you receive Windows Update error 6d9e while installing SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 by using Windows Update, it means that the installation folders and directories are compressed or encrypted.

To fix this problem, make sure the folder locations where you are installing the service pack to aren't compressed or encrypted, or specify a different folder and then run Windows Update again.

Therefore, remove the compression of the DATA directory and run together to the top again.

Remove compression from the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server folder and see if you are able to install the updates without any problem.

See the links below for more details:

  • Windows take accept my Activation Code.

    Hello

I recently had to completely wipe my computer, this included my copy of XP. I reinstalled using the same disc, but now the computer will not accept my product code of origin. I rang the number to activate by phone, but the code is not being accepted.

Can someone help me? My copy is authentic...

    Thanks, Ryan

Make sure that you use the * same * media (that came with the machine) and that the media matches the sticker of the product key on the side of the machine.  The thumbnail must say "Windows XP Home Edition" like must label CD.

Then, make sure that you type it carefully - I and 1, 5 & S, 0 & O are the most common mistakes.

Unfoirtunately - if it does not, the support comes from the manufacturer of the computer (a part of their agreement when they chose to sell OEM operating systems).

Windows XP pro, can not see desktop (just a blank screen) at startup. can access only via the Task Manager. How can I fix?

In the Task Manager, click on "File" and select "new task (run).

Type explorer.exe, and then press the ENTER key.

If you are able to connect successfully to the windows, scan the entire computer using updated anti-virus software and check the virus.

  • My Windows XP pro would not let me change the option 'Use the home screen', so I removed a vital .dll file. I can't start Windows now!

My Windows XP pro would not let me change the "Use welcome screen" option under: user accounts/change the way users connect or power off.

He gave a message to the effect (I forgot to write it!) "a recently installed program does not change this setting. Search in the file named "RtlGina2.dll for a clue. So as silly as I can be, I did a search, finds the file RtlGina2.dll in the Windows/System32 folder and cut and paste on my desk. My thought was to isolate this file to see if it will address the problem of not being able to change the option use Windows screen.

Now, I can't run Windows! It gives a message that this file RtlGina2.dll is not found! Specifically, it says, User Interface failure. The UI for logon RtlGina2.dll DLL failed to load. Contact your system administrator to replace the DLL or restore the original dll.

How can I replace the dll if I can't even get started? Help, please! I know just enough to get me in trouble I see.

    WyoPathfinder,
Are you able to boot mode safe mode with command prompt?  If Yes, then you can search for the file "dir /s /a RtlGina2.dll" lists the location where you moved to.  Then you can just copy (path\filename) c:\Windows/System32\(filename)

If you do not work in safe mode, then you can boot from a XP disc and go into the recovery console and do the same thing.

Hope that helps. QQ learn manage!

  • Windows 7 Pro will not restart if printer on.

    Hello

When you click Restart, Windows 7 Pro will not reboot with a printer hp (L7680 or C309a) turned on.  The screen remains right on "Starting Windows".  Windows continues to load after that whatever printer is turned on.

This problem just started.  Never happened before.  I could always click on restart without problem before.

    Any help?

    Hey joe_do,

I see that you have a problem with the sequence of starting your Windows 7 Pro computer when one of your 2 HP printers are turned on.  How are these 2 printers connected to this PC?

Looks like that devices can be connected to USB and somehow the computer boot sequence put the emphasis for USB on the internal HARD disk.
