Windows 7 Professional and Family Pack
Two days ago I installed Windows 7 Pro on my machine and I would like to know how to extend this license to a family (3 users) pack.
Moreover, I also used a few months ago the Release Candidate version, and I was already very satisfied; the official version works quite well. I hope someone finds a way to make my Avid also quite expensive Liquid Pro - license to work with Windows 7 64 bit...
Hello
Sorry for the bad news, but the Family Pack includes only the Home Premium version.
You may want to consider purchasing the OEM versions at an online retailer if you are looking for a good deal. These are the exact same versions as the retail, they just have the restriction being attached to the first machine where they are installed and no official support. The OEM version is also the full version. It can be installed on a blank hard drive.
You can usually get these for about half what would cost the full retail version.
Newegg.com - OEM of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit 1-Pack
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP

When I reinstalled it 3 years ago he corrected the problem of DVD. Help, please
Thank you for your help. Here are the answers your request:

The windows of origin is always on display as shown above, but I received a free upgrade to Windows XP Professional CD and installed on my computer. And under 'Information system', it shows as - Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3.This problem started about 10 days when I used the CD of XP Professional to correct a problem. My computer is a Dell Dimension 5100 and I have two CDs that were sent to me - Dell - Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP 3 and Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Version 2005 with update Rollup 2.
Thanks again and I ran the "fix it" you suggested but it have no problem found to fix. Every thing works fine on my system, but Media Center won't play DVD. It will play CDs and videos on my system.
The initial problem was that I could not download the Blackberry Desktop Software - updates needed. The computer came with Windows XP Media Center Edition Home and I use Internet Explorer 8 as my default browser. I also use Mozilla Firefox as my backup browser.
Please stick to your thread to avoid confusion of origin: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-windows_update/i-have-upgraded-to-windows-xp-professional-and-now/f5245962-e9b4-4415-8aff-bc1d972f8120
Note that I asked you to MOVE your original thread on the forum of material WinXP, not start a new thread.
Also note that you don't have NO Windows XP Media Center Edition, installed now if you upgraded to Windows XP Professional.
PS: If "winver" still says Windows XP Media Center Édition, did you not correctly upgraded & something is not. Better contact the Dell Support on this issue (if they'll still talk to you).

I have the Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack 32 bit version on 1 laptop and 2 desktops.
I'll be able to upgrade all 3 devices for Windows 64-bit under 10 free upgrade plan?
If so, each device will receive its own system tray notification icon?
I want to spend my architecture currently installed during the migration of Windows 10. Have I not this option with free upgrade offer?
- The free update does not have the ability to switch architectures, so architecture will remain the same. If you want to spend the architectures, you will need to download the 10 window. ISO file in the appropriate architecture (32 or 64 bit) and do a custom installation.

Windows 2000 Professional and Internet Explorer 6 causes flashing screen
I have windows 2000 Professional and IE version 6.0.2800.1106. I have all my screen started flashing when I'm online. For example, when I watch a video the sound comes through fine but video blinks while it is almost impossible to watch. Sometimes the pictures flashes also especially if I move my mouse. When I use mozilla on the same machine, sometimes not. Nothing happens if I'm not online. On ie6, if the video has a pop at windows it can be watched, the flash will not occur. I scanned several times with tools different malware and I do not have a virus. No idea how to make it stop? Currently, upgrade is not an option.

I just reinstalled my own copy of Windows 7 Professional and I get an error of activation.
I just reinstalled my own copy of Windows 7 Professional and I get an error of activation. How it enabled? Who can I call?
the easiest way is to use your COA key. (it can be found in your battery compartment.)Unfortunately, the recovery media is AWOLYou should also have an OEM recovery partition that can be used to retrieve shipped from your system to a State. check your documentation or your manufacturer's website for instructions on how to use it. You can also order your manufacturer's recovery disks.
