Windows 7 recycle bin missing recovered files

Malware had deleted several important files. I found the files in the Recycle Bin. I tried to restore all the files from the Recycle Bin. The process was supposed to have completed successfully. However, none of the files that have been deleted from the external hard drive have been restored, and these files have disappeared from the trash. Any help would be appreciated. The files are images of work in formats such as photoshop, gifs etc. Please note best antivirus software was installed a few days earlier and were treated, malware)

Hello

-Did you check the exact location of the files saved on your computer?

You can try to search for files on the external hard drive again by unhinding 'hidden' files to find files in the exact saved location of the files or folders that they recorded earlier, before the Malware scan and check if that helps.

If it does not solve the problem, I suggest you use your favorite search engine to find any third-party data recovery software that can help you restore all of the lost images.
Warning: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.
Hope this information helps.

Take note of this. and set it to 1 MB (there is no place for your file in question). When you see that the tray is clear, again no matter what size it was. Check again. Clear them all to go? Boos! D

  • Windows XP Recycle bin gel to the top

My XP machine went through a period of constant application freezes. I had to manually stop because all GUI functions has been lost, including start them and taskbar.
Most of the fixed problems got system restore. Now my recycle bin is frozen. I can't empty it. Clicking on it produces only "shortened, cut, paste and delete" options but "empty" option and the remains of the shaded icon. Is there a way to solve this problem without another system restore?

  • Crash of Windows 7 - please help on recovering files

I have a HP dv7 laptop that when I uninstall Kaspersky anti virus in order to install Kaspersky Security Suite my system froze requiring a reboot.  But now all I get is blue screen projection system errors.  I ran the Recovery Manager to back up my files, but when I try to retrieve the files on another computer recovery stops working on the 90% mark.  I'm afraid my documents of this laptop until I re - install all software.  I have thousands of slides that I scanned into the computer I need to record and also a file from a scrapbooking software product that I am in the middle of creating a dvd of all the slides which took me several months to do.  Is there a way to backup my files from the command prompt?  Or is there something else I can do?  I went to Best Buy, where I bought the laptop in October 2009 and they tell me that my warranty through them does not have software issues.  The cost for them to retrieve my files would be $150.00 without reinstalling everything.  I don't really have the funds to make them so that any help would be greatly appreciated.  Please give your contribution.

If none of these works use a Linux live CD to access/copy something in Windows 7

If Windows does not start you can use a Linux live CD to access it - but be careful and know what you are doing. You can mess up your Windows installation if you remove things from the computer - if you are not sure that someone else do it.

If you do not have a most popular LiveCD is Ubuntu. Download and burn to a CD using a different computer, then put it in your computer and start him - don't forget to choose the option of trying Ubuntu not make changes to the computer. Then find the files and copy them - you need to search your files in one of the file systems, they will not be in the 'My Documents' folder in Ubuntu. It has a built in CD/DVD burner, or you can copy on an external drive. Confused? That someone else do it.

Trash not hold deleted files.  I had just downloaded Adobe before that happened.

    Thanks for your help.

If you are sure that adobe is related to this question, I would strongly suggest to remove Adobe and see if basket works OK then. (You may need to do a system restore to before the update). If so, replace Adobe with Foxit. It is a player that is light and does not include all the headaches that made Adobe.

  • [Solved] There is no record of $recycle.bin, files will be always permanently delete. How to fix?

I use a computer my company laptop, installed with Windows 7. I found that I can't delete files to the Recycle Bin. Still, files will be permanently deleted without going through the trash.

I'm sure that the setting of the trash is not "remove files immediately when deleted ' and with the setting of the necessary size, more than 8 000 MB.

Then, I checked that, deleting the files from work very well to other readers, but only C: does not work. In addition to this, C:\$RECYCLE. BIN is missing, but D: and E: the $RECYCLE. BIN. I think that is why there is no problem another push to use the trash.

In addition, I also tried in many ways,

    • RD /s /q C:\$RECYCLE. BIN
Does not work, because there is no
    • sfc/scannow
      No problem, nothing fixed.
    • Create a $RECYCLE. BIN manually
      Does not work
    • Copy the $RECYCLE. BIN to other readers
Displays the message to trash corrupted, does not work

    Help, please.

The problem is solved with this thread

  • $recycle.bin files on external drive

When McAfee scanning my WD external drive, it takes hours and hours as it analyzes the many files called $recycle.bin. I mean hours and hours.  I cannot find these files on my external hard drive, nor indeed on my computer either.  Is there a way to find and delete the 'old'?  Thank you.

They are hidden and system files.  Go to start / Control Panel / folder Options / view and check the box to show the hidden files and folders, check the box to show system files and uncheck to hide extension for known file types.  Click OK and close.  Go back to your external drive, and you should now be able to view the files.  I have one on my system at the root of the C: drive as the first entry.  I do not understand why you have so much of.  I'm not sure about the consequences of the removal of the old (do NOT delete all) - I've never seen a case where there were many.  I suggest that you create a system restore point before you do any delete or rename.  I would also first try to rename Recycle1.old or something like that first and then see if everything works (especially your Recycle Bin and deleting files).  If after a few days, everything seems to work fine, so go ahead and delete the renamed files and it should go.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
