• Please help to recover and repair my partitions

  Hi all

  I tried to partition my MacBook Pro (with the retina with El Capitan) and I totally messed up my laptop.

  I deleted something very important and now the system is in a State. I had to download and run El Capitan from a usb key and when I try to make the USB bootable with Diskmaker X, I get a zero... error. Now, I can only use my Mac with usb in. I tried to recover and reinstall but I get an error all round.

  My biggest mistake was that I never backed up anything.

  Here is my list

  Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

  Make sure that you have a current backup before continuing.

  HD recovery start:

  Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

  Repair

  When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab in the toolbar... If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then re-run first aid until no errors are reported. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

  Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than Wi - Fi and more reliable.

  If the above does not work, then you will need to erase the disc then install;

  Install or reinstall OS X from scratch

  Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

  HD recovery start:

  Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

  Erase the drive:

  1. select in the main menu disk utility and click on the continue button.

  2. once the charges of THE select your boot volume (usually Macintosh HD) in the

  list on the left. Click on the Erase tab in the main window of THE.

  3. set the type of format Mac OS extended (journaled). If necessary, click

  Security and button all the option data from scratch in a single pass. Click

  the clear button and wait until the process is complete.

  4 leave FROM and return to the main menu.

  Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the install button.

  Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible

  because it is three times faster than wireless.

  This should install the version of Mac OS X that you had installed it.

I read what to do and nothing will work and I do not have a password reset flash drive or a cd recovery and my laptop did not come with a how can I fix with these and I can't ether system restore with my password. Can someone help please. I own genuine XP Cd I have to down grade my system if I ever want to use it!

  I had Vista Ultimate. I bought W7 home pro upgrade. (ultimate has always been more than I needed)

  Before you do, try attaching the backup of the computer as a virtual hard disk image and copy your personal files:

  Have you deleted the camera deployment folder, or you deleted the contents of the camera roll folder?

  Then, if you have deleted the camera roll, please chech the trash. If you find the film folder, then right-click on it and choose restore.

• Driver HP PSC 1317 wont install on windows 7 - please help

  Hi, I really hope that someone will be able to help me solve this problem. I tried for more than a week to try to install the drivers for this printer and nothing has worked!

  I am running windows 7 (64-bit).  I downloaded the driver from the HP website, I tried to install, uninstall, reinstall, I tried all the troubleshooting options (disable the start up programs, firewall, remove temporary files, etc.).  I tried to use windows update, which fails to install updates for the driver as well.  I tried windows update troubleshooting, HP print and scan doctor and everything else that I found online.  but nothing has worked.

  I tried to install the driver from the hp website and it installs everything other than the driver, if I try to install just the driver fails, I get the error message 'Fatal error' no code error with it and there is a check mark next to any other than the driver, which has a red x next to it.

  When windows update tries to install the printer when I connect the usb port of the printer to the computer it finds the driver, try installing and then only comes up with "unable to install the driver"

  another message, that I had on the numerous attempts to install is 'error 0x000003eb', but none of these options of troubleshooting the problem.

  Please someone is able to help me solve this problem?  its driving me crazy!  I just want to be able to print documents, im not bothered about scanning or something else

  Unplug the printer, run Disk Cleanup, uninstall any software of HP printer via programs & features, restart the PC

  Download/save the full software features of HP, then run the Setup and follow the instructions
