Windows 7 Ultimate Installation
I have a Lenovo G480 with windows 7 Home Basic installed. However, I would now like to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate. I recently bought a windows 7 ultimate 64 bit cd because my laptop is also 64-bit. It happens when I run the Setup. During installation, I see that it says that "When installing windows will reboot several times", but after the first reboot during installation, it displays that it cannot continue with the installation and asks me to check if the cd has all the files. Help, please.
Thank you. There was a problem with the CD. I had replaced it. Thanks for your help.

G7 2233 pilots missing after windows 7 ultimate 64-bit new installation
Hi - I received the computer modeled above with 8 pre-installed windows. I installed a clean install (wiped readers) and installed the operating system Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. When I did, none of the internet connections would even work. I since found (somehow) a pilot who was consistent, which deals with the missing wifi adapter, but I still need the following items:
Ethernet controller: PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_184B103C & REV_05
PCI device: PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_5229 & SUBSYS_184B103C & REV_01
UNKNOWN DEVICE: ACPI\HPQ004
I can't find these anywhere, PLEASE help.
When you request support, please provide the HP model name and/or product the full number of the computer in question.
Assuming that you have a HP Pavilion laptop g7-2233 cl, specifications, other than the CPU, the RAM and the size of the screen, seem to be the same as my sister-brother g6-2210us laptop HP Pavilion computer. Drivers 64-bit of Windows 8 listed for two computers are the same. I installed Windows 7 64 bit on his computer about a month ago and used the following drivers of multiple origins;

I don't want any trouble with the id of the product after the new installation. And do you need the internet during installation, or you can do all updates after. I don't have that high O2 mobile broadband wireless so it won't work because you have to install the software for the dongle on intall. Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
A clean install with an upgrade/license disc cannot legally.
I don't know why you have 2 Systerm of operation on your computer, if you have used the process to upgrade properly.
You must have one.You can do the updates after.
You can, or perhaps no activation problem after reinstalling.
If you do:
Try this and take the Option phone hang for a real person:

Downloaded 10 Windows on the Windows 7 Ultimate machine and get the reboot window. After the reboot, I get again the reboot window. Unable to get beyond that.
Hi Peter,.
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
Let me ask you;
- Have you downloaded Windows 10 and copied to the flash drive?
- You receive an error message when it starts several times in Windows 7?
- How exactly did you download Windows 10?
- What security software is installed on the PC?

I need to install Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (in English) on a server without being able to connect to the server to the Internet.
Is it possible to download the complete software to install the server without an Internet connection?
I was looking for a possibility to download, but have not found.
Stefan
For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.
It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.
Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

Don't know password for the new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate on VmWare Fusion
I bought Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and installed on my MAC OS X machine in VmWare Fusion of an image file provided by the seller of Windows 7. However, when I start the merger, there is a 'user' set up account, and it asks for a password. Typing in anything doesn't work, or 'guest', 'user' or 'password '. So I can't past the login screen.
What can I do?
That was my mistake, and I 'found' the password trying my MAC password. This was extracted automatically, or if I entered during installation without remembering, I don't know. In all cases, it is resolved.
I can't mark my own reply as 'Reply', nor can I delete this question :-(

Installation printer HP Windows 7 Ultimate
I try to install my HP Deskjet F300 to my new HP laptop that has Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, SP 1. I get a msg to reject my laptop is not compatible with the installation of the printer. Do I need to update my Windows 7 or buy a new printer? Help, I don't want to spend the money unesscessary.
Hello
First of all, you have given a printer serial number, not the exact model number.
Here is the link from HP:
Find your exact model it and either select and download the appropriate drivers or select Option 1 after going to the exact model Web page:
Let the HP check
Option 1: Search for updates and recommendations (suggested)

Hello
You cannot install on D:
During the clean install process, you delete the existing partition from the C: ultimate fake windows 7 and then follow the steps to do a clean install of Windows 7 you bought.
How to do a clean install; Read the sections 7 and 8 on the removal of the partition and set up where you want to install:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version won't complete installation
This one is makes me crazy, everything first, here are the specs of the system on which I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit version:Core 2 Extreme QX9650
Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6
Patriot Viper 4GB DDR3 1800 Dual Channel Kit
Gigabyte GV - R4870X2 Radeon HD 4870 X 2 2 GB video card
Zalman 850W PSU
1 WD Raptor HD 320
WD 640GB HD 1
Now the problem, I had been running Vista Ultimate on the above system and I built a new system I put Windows 7 64 bit on and I liked it well enough to spring for another copy of the 64 bit version of Windows 7. I backed up all my files on an external hard drive and put it on the side to ensure the guard. I then install the new OS of all wipe out to get a clean installation fee. Everything was moving along fine until it came to the point where it was finished installing where it seemed to hang for a while but it was finally restarted, but from there he should have me screens for the key code and my info to enter but I got was a black screen and yet my cursor was there and I could move around. I waited a bit and nothing past that was far from the ease with which it is installed on my new build. I restarted and it took me to the screen where you can choose to start windows in safe mode or normal mode, I tried both ways. Only, he went up and then stopped. I thought that maybe I had a damaged disc, so I got out my new computers Windows disk to see if it would install and I thought that if that was the case I had a damaged disc, but he did the same thing as the disc I tried first. Then I went back to my Vista disk and this 'thing' installed as there was nothing for her. Needless to say I'm stumped on this one.
Any ideas on what I should try next?
I should have gotten back sooner, but I finally got the problem fixed. I went to a new ATI video card a 5500 series and Windows 7 installed without a hitch. I downloaded the latest driver for cards in time, and it has been fine since. I hooked it up to my HDTV via a HDMI cable, so I can watch the DVD and Blu - ray movies. It works like a charm. Problem solved.

installation of windows 7 ultimate to Home Premium
Hello
I have a new packaging not Windows 7 Ultimate and I was wondering if I can just install on the existing operating system, or do I have to use a key to upgrade. The software won a promotion. Thanks in advance!Simply use the product key and do an Anytime upgrade.
If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click Enter a key, enter the Windows 7 Ultimatekey request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.
If at any time the upgrade fails, Windows Anytime Upgrade Fail:
Shut down and restart your computer.
Make sure that the Windows updates have been installed.
Download the hotfix that contains a tool called CheckSUR, this tool will look in the package and the maintenance of records and fix corrupted data, the tool is listed under kb947821 it is located at the following link http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=947821
If Anytime Upgrade still does not work, turn off the user account control:
1. go in user accounts in Control Panel
2 change user account control settings
3. pull the slider to the level as low as possible
4. restart the PC
5. pass by the "Anytime Upgrade" as usual
Try the following:
1 disable any security software before attempting to upgrade
2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)
3. disconnect all external devices before installing.
4. check your hard disk for errors:
Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r
When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.
1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
User account control permission
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
5. click on OK.
6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
