The problem is that the email above the inter password is a yahoo account which is mess up when I try to sync. How can I change my Hotmail account. I tried all that I know is not much. Help is needed bad.

Thanks, Dan

When first make you a local account, just use an address non-email name.  When you re - connect to Microsoft you can set it as your Hotmail.

I noticed that you posted this in the section Windows 8. If you do not already have, open the app Store and use the link to get the free 8.1 update, which has numerous fixes and improves many of these experiences.

    Hello

Thank you for writing to us, we are happy to provide assistance to the Microsoft Community.

Have you tried to move the Local account to a Microsoft Account (Outloook.com or Live.com)?

I see that you are not able to pass the local account to Microsoft Account (Gmail account). I would like to inform you that, as of January 30, 2013, Google has stopped supporting new links to service Regional (Exchange ActiveSync) in some cases. The EAS is a technology that allows you to synchronize your email, calendar and contacts between multiple devices (like your desktop, laptop and tablet). This means that January 30, 2013, Google services, you can synchronize with your PC running Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, and how you synchronize them, will change.

For more information, please see the link below:

How to sync Google services with Windows

To test the question, I would recommend that you create a new Microsoft Account (Outlook, Hotmail or Live) and check if you can pass a Local account Microsoft Account.

Hope the helps of information provided. We know in case you need more help.

  • Cannot change the primary alias on behalf of microsoft

My father set up his account of Microsoft on his (using windows 8 on a laptop and a phone)

and something so he's done with 3 alias (* address email is removed from the privacy *, * address email is removed from the privacy * and * address email is removed from the privacy *).

E-mail address is removed from the privacy * being its primary. He also uses the windows mail app, where name@gmail and googlemail appear.

Only the googlemail is usable - gmail "is already added.

I can't delete gmail from there because it is the primary alias - it uses to connect.

The logical answer would be to change the primary alias * address email is removed from the privacy * and everything should be fine again...

But when I put * address email is removed from the privacy * primary, I get the email and click on the activation link - the primary alias

is always the * address email is removed from the privacy *.

No idea how to get the * address email is removed from the privacy * the primary alias - that he then can you connect to?

  • Need to change user account control settings, but cannot access (windows 7Prof.-64 bits)

    Hello

With Windows 7 Professional 64 bit laptop

I am the 'Standard user' and the only user of my laptop.  I don't know if I have an administrator account.  I could have or something with a similar name when first setting up laptop and loading Windows program (a few years ago).  But I remember he was causing Windows always show both accounts and choose one to log-in to.  I didn't want no choice since I am the only user of the laptop, so I understood how to make to get rid of the other account (admin?) and kept the Standard user because 'Help' instructions, said it should be used.

There are so many programs that I can not open because the user account control box "do allow you the following program to make changes...?   The choice of 'Yes' is NEVER highlighted or available - that the choice of the 'no' can be clicked.  And the same dialogue box asks also but it is not a place to type the password "Administrator".  I don't even have a Director. Password, or a password to the Standard user account.

And I am referring to all kinds of programs that can not open, as "Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool" that I downloaded from the Microsoft Web site.  Or I went into control panel 'User account', but try clicking on 'Change settings User Account Control' brings the same view, "do allow you the following program to make changes to the computer?  Or when, on the page of computer system, I can't access 'Advanced System Settings' due to the same dialog box.

How to solve this problem?  I'd rather not have the choice of Auditors when Windows opens.  I looked through other similar topics here (only Windows 7 partners), and some seek to make changes to the registry.  It's very intimidating for me.  I'm not a computer scientist at all, but fairly intuitive with the computer.  The problem cornered me.  Another opinion on a thread is said to use "Fix It".  This program is no longer available (we now 2016).  I also experienced this problem all this time but am pretty frustrated and wanted to try the job.

Should I re - load the Windows program and do something else?

I hope someone can provide some less intimidating process that touch the registry to fix this.  I really appreciate it.

    Thank you!

    Massachusetts

I could have or something with a similar name when first setting up laptop and loading Windows program (a few years ago).

    -> Yes, you did.

I understood how to make to get rid of the other account (admin?) and kept the Standard user because 'Help' instructions, said it should be used.

-> It was a bad decision. It was equivalent to throw out your safe master key. There is a much better method to avoid the choice between multiple accounts.

I don't even have a Director. Password, or a password to the Standard user account.

-> You had an admin password when your first install Windows.

I'd rather not have the choice of Auditors when Windows opens.

-> It takes 30 seconds to remove this choice, without loss of the admin account.

Some seek to make changes to the registry.

-> Hacking the registry does not restore your account admin. 'Fix It' will not fix it either.

Should I re - load the Windows program and do something else?

-> Your first step must be to determine what accounts you have and whether they are active. It is done as follows:

    1. Mark the first line of code below with your mouse, then press Ctrl + C to copy it.
    2. Click the Start button, press Ctrl + V to paste the code in the run box, and then press ENTER.
    3. Marks of the second line of code below with your mouse, then press Ctrl + C to copy it.
    4. Click the Start button, press Ctrl + V to paste the code in the run box, and then press ENTER.
    5. Open the desktop Accounts.txt file, then copy & paste its contents into your answer.

    cmd.exe /c users > '% userprofile%\Desktop\Accounts.txt '.

    cmd.exe /c net localgroup administrators > '% userprofile%\Desktop\Accounts.txt '.

  • Windows 10 continues to change user account controls

Why windows done 10. change user account controls, it's extremely annoying. Whenever I reboot it disables it, which blocks all applications. Why he won't stay where I leave it?

While I can only say that malware has installed a utility that removes the UAC setting when Windows loading [in the hope that you don't notice the change, and that malicious software can therefore go further by installing other malware without bringing a challenge Admin dialog box].  This problem was reported some time ago and finally diagnosed as a symptom of malware - see Windows 7 UAC (user access control) is disabled on every reboot

In addition to a full scan with your antivirus installed utility, download and run a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free [MBAM].  It is much more difficult for malware to hide its presence of two scanners different antimalware.  MBAM can exist alongside other anti-malware utilities, so it won't be a problem.

Of course, it could be an anomaly in the system instead, but it's not that I've seen reported in this forum before.  Windows has no integrated procedure that changes the setting of the UAC, so it is difficult to envisage any procedure through to cause this symptom.

Please specify the operating system you are using and use blue change control under your question of re - categorize it as a matter of Windows if necessary 10.

    Good luck

    Hi kuentin,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

    (1) - what do you mean you have only 1 user account?

When you set up Windows, you will need to create a user account. This account is an administrator account to allow you to set up your computer and install any programs that you want to use. And that's why the user account you are using is the administrator account.

There is no way that you can create an administrator account, or by using a Standard account.

    (2) are you having issues during installation of the software or opening it?

    (3) what exactly happens when you try to open the software application?

    (4) should be codes error or error messages, if any?

    (5) what software are you trying to install or open?

I suggest you go to the link below and read for more information on user accounts.

I advise to use Control Panel so you can manage your accounts in the same way it has been since Windows XP.  To access the Control Panel, a quick shortcut is to press Windows + X and choose Control Panel from the contextual menu, you see.

    Hi Len

The guest account works differently from a normal user account. It works more like a temporary account.

When the user logs out of a session of comments, information or changes made during this session are deleted.

  • I changed my account from administrator to a limited account user, now I can't login as administrator

I changed my account from administrator to a limited account user, as I had 2 accounts of users, two administrator accounts. Now I can't login as administrator. I can't find the administrator and any other accounts show that when I try to switch users.

If you have seen that the users you listed: that's all nothing.  If your account was listed as an administrator, then it is what it is.  It does not change when you restart the system.  ;-)

Initially, you said that you have CHANGED your limited user account:

I changed my account from administrator to a limited account user, as I had 2 accounts of users, two administrator accounts.

Given that, you didn't have and still two active accounts.  If your account is displayed in Mode safe (when you connect as built-in administrator) as an administrative level account - it still is.

Was able to go in the control group/user accounts. He was the administrator, my account administrator and one guest account haven't turned on do not.

Information about Windows XP HOME Edition and the built-in Administrator account:
    http://WindowsXP.MVPs.org/Admins.htm
(... and how you can make it visible in normal mode again - the reason for which it automatically logs in has two components.  (1) you have no password on 'your account' and 2) you have two directors and so integrated is hidden).

    Try this (in normal mode).

  • Change administrator account name and now can't find My Documents

Tomorrow I'm helping a friend clean her Windows XP computer after her divorce.    He said he went into Control Panel, user accounts and accounts deleted for his sons and then changed the name on his account (Administrator) to his name.  Now he says that he cannot find his documents.  I guess that it should not have changed his account name to her name and instead made his account an administrative and then deleted his account.  Is there a way to fix this?   Thank you.

    Hi sillycat41,

Look in the C:/Documents and Settings folder, as to how much user account folders are present.
Maybe his account will have a different name.

Repair the damaged user account and check if it helps.
    For more information, see:
