Windows 8 free cell

HOW DO WE GET LONELY AND INSTALLED ON THE WINDOWS DESKTOP-FREE CELL 8?

The built-in games that were in previous versions of Windows are not available in Windows 8. Instead, there are a few free games available on the Windows Store product Microsoft applications (in your Start Menu). Card by Microsoft games are called Microsoft Solitaire Collection (including FreeCell). There is also Microsoft Minesweeperand Microsoft Mahjong . You should note that these are different from what you had previously.

You can also search applications game 3rd party on the Windows store.

    Hello

I tried and recreated this problem on my computer and there was no question about my computer. Once I disabled the alert, the music and sound in the game settings, then there is no sound from the game. I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the game if you play free cells of Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

  • Games like solitaire, free cell, hearts, etc. accidentally has been removed from my computer. When I go into Control Panel, add or remove windows, windows components, I need the floppy disk that I don't have. Any ideas how I can get these games back?

I have windows xp service pack 3 and internet explorer 7

    Hi dollarsfor6,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

In most cases if the games are deleted from the computer files will remain on the computer.

I suggest that you are looking for game files in the system32 folder.

Click on Start menu later click on run and type c:\\windows\system32 in the following search of the window for the file of games like free cell. If you get the files in the system32 folder then copy the file to c:\\program files\start menu\ later in the game folder.

If fails it above step, try a system restore to the point when the game was available on the computer.

See the link below to learn how to perform the system restore.

  • Is there a free cell as the XP version I can download on my desktop on Windows 8?

I just windows 8, and he doesn't have the game of free cells that I'm addicted to.  Can I download Windows 8 so that I can play offline?  Thank you

It seems to work for Windows 7 so might also work for Windows 8.

Create a folder in your file system a place to place the game.

Copy these files into the XP environment in the folder created in the previous step...

    C:\Windows\system32\freecell.exe

    C:\Windows\system32\cards.dll

Create a shortcut to freecell.exe if you want or just run directly from the folder.

Have you tried the solutions proposed in this thread?

Go to the Microsoft Store and search for Microsoft Solitaire Collection which includes free cells

  • where is the free cell on windows 8?

I can't believe they took off basic games. I've been an avid player of free cell and now his party. Microsoft should warn people that what has always been Windows will disappear before people upgrade. I hate the version of the application that is in the Microsoft store, I want my old game cell free return is possible to get it?

The reason why they have the app store is to download third-party games and games of cards from third-party suppliers.

I answered this question on another thread, I gave the person a solution not taken in charge by downloading a patch from another site covering games in Windows 7 to Windows 8.
I'm not going to post the same answer on the solution because it is a Microsoft Site, but you can do a google search on it.
