Windows 8 Pro - driver power state failure

Hello

I installed Windows 8 Pro a few months back and get the blue screen with pilot error, failure of State and the computer turned off. Could someone help with this problem?
Thanks in advance for your time.

I'd say delete the PxHlpa64 entry.

To remove the PxHlpa64 entry double-click LowerFilters and, under value data, delete PxHlpa64 > OK

Create a system restore point beforehand and restart the computer after.

Then update the GEARAspiWDM, which iTunes uses to last version by installing the latest version of hardware drivers (4.020.5):

  • W3 - 810 driver Power State failure error (BSOD)

I have a W3-810 Iconia I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. During a recent update to the 2016 office, I had a blue screen and an error message that a failure of State driver had taken place and the computer needed to restart. After a few moments, the computer restarted and I was able to complete the installation of Office 2016. I remember getting this error during upgrade to Windows 10. Recently, while watching a YouTube video, the Tablet locked up and I got the blue screen again, with the same "Driver Power State Failure" error again. I check the Device Manager and noticed that in the "system devices" all of the "Intel platform dynamics and thermal framework (DPTF)" associates pilots had yellow flags indicating that the drivers did not work properly. When I tried to update the drivers I get a message that the latest drivers are installed.

Someone at - it recommendations to solve this problem? Should I uninstalled all the drivers DPTF and reinstall? Thank you.

Update: I drove all DPTF drivers in back to version 6.2.9200.30457 Device Manager and then restarted the computer. I tested the computer to see if I could cause a BSOD pilot State failure occurred earlier today and it does not happen again. I hope that this solves the problem. Thank you.

  • OF DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE

    Hello

Seen a lot of posts on this but nothing I found to help me.  I get an error in the failure State on Windows 7 64 driver when the computer goes into mode "Eve".  Instead of waking up the computer is off and when I restart I get an error saying that windows is not stopped correctly and he asks me if I want to start in safe mode.

I need to find the device / driver that is the cause.  I downloaded my minidump files in the following location:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/w03xb8svk335pg7/minidump.zip?DL=0

Hoping someone can help on this issue and I would like to know if there is something usable in it.

    Thanks in advance!

    PS:

I also had a utility called whocrashed, he read the dump file and told me the following...

  • Driver power state failure Acer V3 571 G

    Hello!

I use my Acer V3 for more than six months, and recently my computer started to plant several times gives me error: State failure driver. I read it's an incompatible driver in the cause, but I'm not sure. Sometimes when I watch YouTube videos, 360 p (my internet is slow). The video stops and then the cursor stops responding while the sound of the video continues. Shortly after, I find myself on a BSOD. How can I fix?

What is your GPU and what version of your drivers. If you have updated your drivers when it started to happen probably you need to get them off.

I've identified the problem, but have unfortunately no solution. The problem is indeed the dirver NETw5s64.sys.

See--> http://communities.intel.com/thread/10055 for additonal discussion of the problem that intel must update this driver.

If I connect with a wired connection, everything works as it should. I put the system to sleep and wake up as it should work. However, if I connect using wireless, after using it for some time, the computer will not sleep. The screen is blank, the disk activity continues for some time and finally the system come to STOP 9F.

This and other aging with this driver and discussed in the above link!

  • 8.1 - BSOD driver Power State failure of Windows

    Hello

a few days earlier, he had appeared a BSOD with error message - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE - for Windows 8.1 to start, then Windows has restarted.
In the register of events, I found - event 41; Kernel-Power.

    What should I do?

    Thank you

For the most part the BSOD will appear due to serious shortcomings in the system...
Malfunction of the system can be caused by an incompatible or software driver preinstalled...
Antivirus / antispware one program or security can also cause these problems.

Don't forget to check in the Windows updates to see if a driver has been updated before this happen.
But also this problem might also be caused by a loose card or cable and even a weak power supply.

As you can see, it is difficult to say why the BSOD appears, but from my point of view of the few there are an easy way to solve the problem... the laptop back to factory... If BSOD would appear using laptop costs recovered, and then hardware problem of recovery could be the reason for this dysfunction.

  • DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE during the update of Windows 8 to 8.1

Hi all, I tried to upgrade from Windows 8 for Windows 8.1 but still get a DRIVER error message, OUT of STATE, and then the installation stops and goes back to Windows 8. As it is a very recent laptop, it should not be a problem of out-of-date drivers. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you very much!

I have a the same problem, but resolved

just update your driver from nvidia with the nvidia tool.

    Then the update will go.

  • (Windows 8 64-bit) driver power state failure

    Hello

I met a BSoD after I moved my rig running in another case. She refused to pass the W8 splash screen, until I fiddled with the boot order of my hard drives and I could connect po 30 seconds after the connection however it blue screened a statement "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I remember seeing a few months but only once or twice. I'd appreciate any help that may prevent my rig to stop or refusing to start up like this. I've linked some files I think can be useful on my drive. Please tell me if you need additional files to the source of my problem.
    Thank you very much

    MC

This phenomenon was related to atapi.sys from Microsoft's IDE/ATAPI Port driver.  Could be wiring, HD or driver.  Given that you have physically moved that I would suspect that something is not sitting correctly.

You can try to boot into safe mode to run a file system check, or you can run it from a CMD window

Run a check of the filesystem (CFS)

    Best instructions are here

    Open a cmd high window

(Go to start > type CMD > right click and run as administrator)
    Type SFC/scannow
You may need to run this upward to 3 times.
Let us know the results at the end

If the files are found that can not be fixed, run this command from an elevated command prompt
    DISM / Online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Original software comes from Dell, but recent updates have come through the process of updating the NVIDIA software.  Are updates NVIDIA evil to do?

Only, I asked the question above, because it is recommended to install the drivers specific to your system, especially if the system is a laptop.

You must install only the generic drivers NVidia provides if you don't have the option of updating your site from system manufacturers.
