  You must visit my OneDrive, upload this file to a place, you can find, rename it to WindowsCodecs.dll and then copy and paste in your c:\windows\system32 folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive).

  My wife birhtday, I bought a new desktop PC 500-281 HP Pavillion through Win 7 clips in July of 2014. Intermittently the machine hangs at startup.   I would test equipment (systems and components) to restarting your PC and pressing "ESC". A defective material is usually behind on a new PC erratic behavior. If material tests pass and this isn't a software driver problem, through the process of elimination, it can be the power supply.

Windows Update?  If it is standard, and it does not install, is there a way to reinstall the service?  I found a link on the Dell site that got copy tbssvc.dll from a work computer, paste it to a computer for non-working, create new registry keys and register the dll from the registry.  It works, but I prefer not to go down this rabbit hole if there is a simpler solution.  Thanks for your help.

  I have a workaround which is a little less boring that the patch "restart the PC": If you get the error where MYOB crashes when you try to send an e-mail, open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del or right click on the start bar), then go to the "Processes" tab and close all instances of wlmail.exe using the button "complete the process".

  It seems that this error occurs if you have Windows Live Mail opened when you try and send emails of MYOB. If you then close WLMail after that get the error the process seems to never close, so you have to close it manually. If you send all your emails with closed WLMail MYOB it seems to be OK.
