Windows 8 with problems using flash player

Cannot access a photography site that requires flash player.  I activated the Shockwave, disabled active x for filtering and do not know what else to try.  I just need to look at my pictures of children and am not a technology person.

The problem with Internet Explorer (#3756 in a series of 1,000,000,000 things wrong with it) it is with Windows 8, as so many things Microsoft has taken up and then fucked up royally, the Flash Player in integrated and update via Windows update. If Microsoft keeps on their end, content Flash is no longer available in Internet Explorer, and there is nothing you can do about it on your end. You've been through the work to ensure that it works. If you ran the update from Windows and it has not updated to Flash Player, I advise to use another browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome and you will be able to access that IE won't let you.

Chrome comes with its own built-in Flash Player plugin, but (like Firefox) it does not rely on controls ActiveX (that Microsoft still uses after all other browsers them fell in 2000). If you choose to use Firefox, you will need to download Flash Player Flash Player plugin (all other browsers) but it works as well or better than the version of IE.

To work around this problem, you can disable hardware acceleration in the settings of IE9 to prevent this, but performance is terrible and this is not a solution.

Hi, thanks for the info, the format is fine. Your Flash files also are all correct and the Shockwave Flash Object. Flash Player is installed correctly and then something is contradictory, very probably an add on in the browser.

  • Problem installing flash player 11.0.1.152 with Windows Vista 64-Bit

    Hello

I can't get Flash Player to install on my computer with Windows Vista 64-Bit - is not serious if I try with Firefox, Opera or IE (usually, I use Firefox).

The download is not a problem, but when I run the .exe downloaded, the file disappears from my download folder and nothing happens - not to mention that the launch of a process called install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih_3.exe, which does nothing. The usual installation popup never appears. After that I can not try to start the installation again, until the deactivation of the process via the Task Manager ("that one instance of this application can run"). No matter if I try the download and installation with or without 'McAffe security more' btw - same result.

I have never had such a problem before - Flash Player 10.3 has been and no problem to install and use.

I tried all the measures proposed in the troubleshooting section on the official website, including measures for advanced troubleshooting (uninstall the old version, run as administrator, disable the software firewall, disable antivirus, etc.). Nothing helps.

I have never had these problems with my laptop running Windows 7 - just my desktop computer with Vista 64-bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Have you tried to remove the Flash Player and then reinstall it again.
Or visit the Adobe Web site and check for updates.
I remember that I had no sound with the Flash drive until I upgraded to this drive.

By the way; I also recommend you to install all the necessary codecs. I use the K-Lite Codec Pack that contains all the necessary codec s

  • JavaScript disabled, cannot load or use Flash Player, what is the problem?

Since the installation of the latest version of Firefox on my Mac (OS X 10.8.4), I can't watch or download videos from Flash Player. Here is a part of the root of the problem:

    1. I have Java Applet plugin Java 7 update 25 installed and activated.
    2. I also NoScript active 2.6.7.1. If I'm on a web page with Flash material I want to download, I am doing what I used to do with the previous version of Firefox, which is to click on "temporarily allow all this page" in the Options"" menu.
    3. If I try to listen to or download, I get the error message "to view this video, you need later.
version of Adobe Flash Player. "and a download button.
    4. the button brings me to the Flash Player page, where it says "JavaScript is currently disabled in your browser and is required to download Flash Player."
    5. in the ' about' config' parameters, Javascript.enabled is set to 'default' and 'true '.

At this point, I'm stumped. Can someone please help?

My thanks to everyone who responded, the solution is in fact provided by zakaria on the Mac forums and was simple; He suggested I download Flash from here , the Adobe Flash Player Distribution page, rather than the Adobe page that Firefox sends you when you have not download plugin. As far as I can tell, this Adobe page is bugged and cannot say that JavaScript is actually activated, or Firefox has a problem of communication of the fact. In both cases, it is disconcerting.

  • Why do I have problems with my Adobe Flash Player crashing constantly on some games on Facebook?

I play a lot of games on Facebook. I started to have a problem with my "flash player crashing..." I uninstalled all Adobe products and their reinstalled nothing doesn't. It seems to happen more when I use the Zynga Games. I don't understand why this is the case and certainly do not know what to do about it. Of course, I'd be grateful for any help you can give me!

Some Flash games may take longer to load, so you need to increase the time-out on the protection of the accident. See Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - avoid that it happen.

  • MouseOver problem with Firefox and Flash Player 11.0.1.152

In my office 2 people have improved their Flashplayer to version 11.0.1.152 for Firefox 3.6.23 and actions of mouseover who has worked previously have stop working. Two others of us are running the same operating system and the browser but version 10 of Flash Player and everything works fine. It seems to work very well on Mac/Safari and Mac/Chrome with Flash Player 11.

    This combination works as expected:

    Mac OS 10.6.8

    FireFox 3.6.23

    Flash Player 10.3.183.1

    This combination mouseovers to fail:

    Mac OS 10.6.8

    FireFox 3.6.23

    Flash Player 11.0.1.152

Here are 2 examples of sites where we have had this experience:

http://designdelgiorno.com/BC/timeline : Hover over the thumbnails. A gray border should appear on mouseover. I coded it using AS3 published for Flash Player 10 and standard event MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER listener. I tried to change to MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER and got the same results.  I also tried to publish for Flash Player 9 with the same results.

http://at.BC.edu/portfoliooctober2011/ : Mouseover "Portfolio Archive" link at the bottom on the right. Animation should happen.

On a machine we uninstalled Flash Player 11 and re-installed 10.3.183.10 and that fixed the problem, but of course we cannot control Internet users.

Everyone knows this? Can anyone reproduce this error? Is there a solution of coding I can apply?

    Thank you

Yes, this is a known issue, you will need to upgrade your firefox to the latest version. Flash Player 11.0.1.152 no longer support Firefox 3.6 on Mac.

Here are the details on the minimum system requirements for configuration: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/tech-specs.html

  • Problem of Flash Player in Windows 7 Pro.

I try to get the latest Flashplayer on a laptop Windows 7 Pro, IE9 running. Several sites I visit tell me that I have an "old version". I deleted all the Adobe files and clean up the garbage from my laptop. When I try to get the latest version of Flash Player, Adobe says that I have no version on my computer. In the downlaod Adobe then said "a more recent version is already installed on this computer." The download stops at that time here. No installation is complete, either.

How can this be? Adobe, after doing a check of my system is showing nothing for Flash Player on my laptop.

    What's not here?

Download and run the http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html uninstall program

Download and run the offline installer of http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-Windows.html #main - pars_header

Make sure that the Shockwave Flash module is enabled in IE9.

  • Problems of Flash player v11 on Windows 2003 Terminal Server upgrade

    Hello

I am trying to upgrade of several Server Terminal Server to Windows 2003 32-bit, v5.2 IE Flash plugin version 11.1.102.63.  It did not work on the first two servers I tried, and later I concentrated my tests on one of them.  The version on the server before the upgrade attempt has been 10.3.181.14.

Whenever I try the upgrade, the executable initially runs, but then does nothing.  The running process is visible in the Task Manager, with no resources of treatment and about 18 MB of memory.  Unless I kill the process manually, it will sit like that indefinitely.  If I try the installation again, I get a message advising me that a single instance of the process can run.

I tried to reboot the server, I tried to install terminal server mode server running the installation, I tried to uninstall the previous version, I tried to reinstall the previous version (which works fine).  For some reason, this version will not work.

Any suggestions as to the next step would be very welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

How to do a clean install of the Flash Player?

  • Problem with install/update flash player

I tried to update my flash drive for a couple of months now and each time it gets to about 30%, and then he said: "lost connection. Trying to connect... "or something like that and then it stops. I have a Mac, version 10.7.5 and Safari version 6.1.6. Whenever I just waited until that next time he reminds me, but today I noticed that my version was so old that it has started to become a problem. I tried again to day and it's the same thing. So I've found, in my "Launchpad" that I had a program to uninstall flash player so I uninstalled it but I still have the same problem when I try to install it again. Oh and yes my internet connection is great, which certainly cannot be the problem, so I don't know what he's talking about.
