Windows - bug or feature photo gallery?

While using WPG to display pictures in a file, by clicking on the right arrow to move to the next photo normally appear the next photo in the line, as displayed in the window of the file. Sometimes, however, it makes the photo appear in the same column in the next row (i.e., it advances to the bottom of the column instead of all the tier).  Same effect when you use the right arrow on the keyboard.  I accidentally changed a setting, or...?

Thanks, J, but no cigar.  The files in the folder are sorted alphabetically, and all start with the letters.  The behavior looks like really intentional: when WPG enters the 'mode' (for lack of better term) the securities down the column, as he works on another linked list.  I'll try resizing the window to the folder, so there is a different number of columns.  I'll make the results later.

Ok.  I resized the window of five icons across six folder and launched a new WPG by double-clicking an icon.  Not only the new WPG worked properly, but the old we started work correctly as well.  Go figure.

Not really a solution, but a useful workaround solution.  I'm always curious to know what caused her to go according to the columns in the first place.

  • Prefer W. Vista Windows Photo Gallery to w. 7 WindowsLive library

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit of a desktop computer. I largely prefer the version of the Windows Vista Photo Gallery to Windows Live Photo Gallery included with Windows 7. Why was something of broken not fixed in a poor and limited way? I am willing to remove Windows Live Photo Gallery and replace it with the version of Vista. Having both available would be acceptable. Or the other option is possible? Is there another program (third, perhaps) that provides the features and usability of the Windows Vista Photo Gallery?

    Hello

Windows Photo Gallery is not included in Windows 7. You can view and print photos with Windows Photo Viewer. To edit them, you need to install a program from another company or Windows Live Photo Gallery.

  • Unable to print only one page in a multiple page / image tiff file using Windows Photo Gallery

IT seems that for Windows Vista Photo Gallery is able to display multiple images in a TIFF file format when printing, but it does not select the image to be printed. Whenever I print a tiff image file two pages to print.  Since most of my photos are in TIFF format, and each contains two images one by one another at a reduced resolution and normal resolution I'm only interested in printing the first image and not the second.  I really don't want to convert all my photos in a different format.  Does anyone know if there is a setting to fix this?

    Hi KKosin

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

    I suggest measures are:

    1. try to print the image in MS Paint, steps to follow:

    i. Click Start, in the search box, type in the paint

II. open the document to print

III. click on print and check

    2. change the format of an image file and check if this problem is still happening. You can change the type of file to the JPEG/JPG format. Steps to follow:

    i. right click on the file type

    II. select Rename

III. the extension .jpg or .jepg replace

IV. and then try to print

  • Is there a way to download/install the Version of Windows Vista Photo Gallery on a computer running Windows 7

I would like to have the use of two Photo Gallery Windows for quick photo simply adjustments (Windows Vista version) and Windows Live Photo Gallery the two on my new desktop computer running Windows 7.  Is this possible and if so how I do it?

    Hi DerekMan,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the version of Windows Live Photo Gallery in Windows Vista running on Windows 7.

    =============================================
Photo Gallery has an exclusive database that includes inches
    and metadata.

Thumbs have been generated when the photos were
actually on your hard drive... and since the photo gallery
been closed because the files have been deleted... the database has been
    not updated.

Photo Gallery reopening has to update the database
and purge the thumbs for photos that are no longer on your hard drive.

Sometimes deleted files can be recovered from the hard drive
but after several months or years have elapsed the chance is next to
Impossible since they are replaced with other files.
