Windows gives message memory photo gallery

When tyring to open images photo gallery is "hanging" or sends it back the message "cannot display this picture. You might not have enough available memory / close some programs, or if your hadr drive is nearly full, free space, and then try again. »

Still, I + 60 GB on the HARD drive and have even tried to open the photos after a reboot. Any ideas?

Hi J

Yes, the images open in MS Paint and Office Picture Manager.

I have 4 GB of RAM.

The HARD drive has 70 GB free total 217GB.

Yes, I run the utilities from time to time, especially to try to solve this problem.

It is a baffler, this one, huh?

  • Windows image file Vs Photo Gallery

When I upload photos on my laptop, they download photo gallery & pictures of the windows folder. However the images are displayed as empty file in the photo file and displayed in Photo Gallery corretly. How can I change the folder for the photo to display my real pictures too

Open the pictures of the start menu folder. In the blue task bar of the window, click on organize. Click on folder options. Click on tab display uncheck the box that says "show icons, thumbnails never." That should do the trick.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

  • Windows error code live photo gallery 0x8007000b

This is what comes up when I try to reach my music, videos, documents and image files!  error code: 0x8007000bI have tried troubleshooting and unfortunately errors still occur. Help, please!

    Hello
    1. is the issue limited to Windows live photo gallery?
    2. what happens when you try access documents and the library of the windows Explorer folder?
    3. What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried?

If you are unable to access the folder documents and images from Windows Explorer, I recommend trying the following steps and check if it helps.

I suggest you to create a backup of all the files of pictures and video before delete us.

I suggest you refer to the step which was answered by Adrian293. On January 5, 2013 at the following Microsoft link.
Note: If the question is only when using Windows Live Photo Gallery, then I recommend you post the same question in Windows live mail, since we have a dedicated support for the same.

  • Windows - bug or feature photo gallery?

While using WPG to display pictures in a file, by clicking on the right arrow to move to the next photo normally appear the next photo in the line, as displayed in the window of the file. Sometimes, however, it makes the photo appear in the same column in the next row (i.e., it advances to the bottom of the column instead of all the tier).  Same effect when you use the right arrow on the keyboard.  I accidentally changed a setting, or...?

Thanks, J, but no cigar.  The files in the folder are sorted alphabetically, and all start with the letters.  The behavior looks like really intentional: when WPG enters the 'mode' (for lack of better term) the securities down the column, as he works on another linked list.  I'll try resizing the window to the folder, so there is a different number of columns.  I'll make the results later.

Ok.  I resized the window of five icons across six folder and launched a new WPG by double-clicking an icon.  Not only the new WPG worked properly, but the old we started work correctly as well.  Go figure.

Not really a solution, but a useful workaround solution.  I'm always curious to know what caused her to go according to the columns in the first place.
