    1. What mail client do you use?

    2. This only happens when you try to send a card or with other pieces also?

    You can temporarily disable the security software including Norton and the firewall installed on the system and check if the problem persists.

    Note: Be sure to enable the security software on the computer after checking.

    I had this same problem about 2 years ago... my windows email account wants to connect with a user name and password. Why? It's been so long, I don't know what they were...     If you have forgotten your username and password, you will need to contact your email provider and get this information from them.  At the same time, they can tell you the right settings for your e-mail program, you specify here, so it is difficult to proceed further in your question.  You can check here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

  • Can't send or receive emails in my windows email account

    When I go into my windows email account looks like something wants to come, said mail reception, then a notice of error appears, an unknown error occurred) x 80004005. It has always worked before, I went to tools and checked all the info here for ports etc., and it's all good.  I use AVG, but still nothing has changed with my system, except that my email does not work.

    Probably, there is a message that is corrupt or too big. Connect to your server Webmail site and delete the offending message here.

    Yes, I uninstalled the upgrade to IE9 and rebooted and unfortunately I can print my email again! No more unexpected call to the method.  Check my IE and it's IE8.

  • I want to use my "windows email" as my main mail page layout. I recentily opened a Gmail account and would like Gmail to turn on my page of Windows Mail. How to configure it.

    I was using before my email windows to manage all my e-mail.  At this time, I used century link as my internet provider.  Since then, I changed to Comcast as my ISP.  Century Link closed my account and my email address has been arrested.  I have opened a gmail account and would like to continue to use my Windows Messaging to send and receive my gmail.

    With regard to the attachment:

    In Yahoo Mail:

    Click on new message
    Click on attach files
    Click Browse
    Select the file (by clicking left on it once)
    Click Open (lower-right)
    Click on "Attach files" (in the blue bar above the attachment - it's the one that cheated on me!)
    Check that the attachment is attached
    complete the email and send it.

    They offer your broad band/Dial-up connection.

    Ask them to:

    username
    password for your service account to wide band/Dial-Up with them

    Server of incoming POP3 mail
    outgoing mail SMTP server

    The above information is required to set up Windows Mail.

    I already know the answer to that is "", but I have to ask because I'm desperate... I open a file attached to an email without saving changes and then made changes to the file, and then I lost power on my laptop, there is no way to recover my file updated is there? I tried searching in 'everything', looking through my email - its not registered project or anything like that and I have watched in recent documents.

    I know that he has lost, but needed to check anyway!

    It would be useful to know what e-mail program you use and what type of fixing it was (and what progrqm you use to change).  It may not appear in the recent documents if it was recorded only in the form of project - but it is possible through the program you use to edit the file (saved as a draft).  It's hard to say without knowing the programs in question.  It of likely were recorded if you use Word or Excel and you save drafts defining the value often enough so that a copy or two has been saved before the power loss (projects usually appear in the left side of the screen with the options press each to recover). In Microsoft Outlook, it will save drafts of messages not sent if you have the option set in Tools / Options / Options e-mail and checked automatically save unsent messages (but not attachments) - they will find in the drafts folder.  It is distinguished from other programs (and some do not have the option at all).  I don't speak of Office 2007 - it works differently or not at all in the earlier versions of Office.

    Unfortunately, if you watched as completely as you say, there's a good chance it is lost for good.  You may need to go through the editing process again once I am sorry to say (but still there is a chance if you will provide the programs involved).  And there's a lesson here - periodicallly always save your work when you change or create a file so that you don't lose all your work in the event of a disaster (like loss of power on a PC without battery backup system - a good idea to have anyway to help you close the system slowly instead of stopping cold a power failure--but I suspect you were working on the) your laptop battery and let it do so low it's just stop without warning {unusual because he usually gives warning messages when it reaches a certain percentage of remaining power to avoid just one}.  You can save the battery and that the system works more by going to start / Control panel / Power Options and selecting the option to save energy.).

    Good luck and I hope that you are able to recover your work (but I'm afraid, it can be lost at this point). Lorien - a - MCSE/MCSA/network + / A +.
