Windows Genuine Validation?
When I select "Progams," "Accessories" and "Activate Windows," the system tells me that windows is activated. However, Microsoft Security Essentials continues to show that Windows (XP Pro) is not validated and that I have 30 days to validate it. I continue to see this message (4 - 5 times a week) even after repetedly update or scan using MSE. My security system is set up to receive automatic updates, but I have received no more than two weeks. I am also unable to download updates of Adobe PDF, Flash, the latest version of LibreOffice, which continues to alert me of the update, but don't then download - and my Outlook contacts (formerly Hotmail) are not displayed. Any help here?
It doesn't seem to be any problem with Activation - then the problem may be related to malicious software or a firewall.
What security software do you use?
What other AV have NEVER been installed on this machine?

Windows has failed the windows genuine validation
I wanted to open a file to windows 2007. Guest computer to download the compatible pack before you download. I did, but he says that windows failed the windows genuine validation. So I followed the instructions. My screensaver is also gone and there is no icon on the lower right side of the computer that says you may be a victim of software counterfeiting. How can I go further?

-Online Windows XP: double-click the executable file to run the tool.
-Online Vista & Win7: right-click on the executable and select run as administrator to run the tool.
2. after running the tool, click on the Windows or Office as appropriate and then click copy (to the Clipboard).
NB: You can open a new file in Notepad, paste the contents of the Clipboard in it & keep for future reference.
3 start a new thread in the appropriate forum of Microsoft Genuine Advantage and paste the results of the WGA or OGA data diagnostic in a detailed post tool: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/genuine

As I said before, "No matter how long he ran 'okay'..." »
Copies MSDN work very well - until Microsoft discovers that they have been used in a way not scheduled (they are sold by unscrupulous people who probably to sell at an attractive price in comparison to other copies - a lot of people don't care about questioning why they might be cheaper.) Others may sell at the same price and make more money before disappearing).
You have an MSDN copy. Your PID has not been changed by restoring the backup. ;-)
You can try changing your product key of Windows 7 than on the sticker:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/osproductkeys/HT/change-Windows-7-key.htm
Then try to activate by phone:
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/18715-activate-Windows-7-phone.html
And come back to report to what past. What operating system do you have on the laptop before? You can get a Windows 8 upgrade for that - but I would not honestly - recommend it because the difference is quite obvious and you haven't checked your software and hardware is supported on Windows 8, I know. My recommendation for Windows 8 is to use * if * the system you have came from the manufacturer with it pre-installed. :-)

Re - this copy of windows has failed the Windows genuine validation
Hello
I used windows xp - pro, recently I repaired my system because it was crushed and couldn't recover due to lack of space on hard disk. Hard disk is ful because the required software and MS updates took 18GB drive 'C' of 25 GB. After repairing, I get MSG on my screen that "this copy of windows did not lack genuine Windows validation" which is the most difficult recover my earlier copy of Windows?
Hello
You can check this link:Description of the Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications application -
Why Windows Genuine Validation code is not available?
I upgraded to Win7 Pro, then tried to download XP Mode. It compels me to do a validation of Windows. It will download the file GenuineCheck.exe. When I run it, I get the following error:
Windows Genuine Advantage
Code is not available. the validation code could not be obtained. This is perhaps due to technical difficulties, or you may be runing an unsupported operating system. Please close this window and try again the validation process or use the back button in your Web browser to return to the Download details page. [Error code: 0x80072f07]
I rebooted and go through this process several times, all with the same result.
It is an ASUS CM1831 system has a processor AMD FX-8120 with Win7 installed originally. How to do this? If I can't go past this message, how to download XP Mode?
Hi Philippe,.
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
I understand from the information you have provided to us, you are facing problems with Windows Genuine advantage in Windows 7. I will certainly help you in this matter.
I would say allowing you to run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostics tool then copy and paste the results into an answer here for further analysis:

Lenovo T420 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - Windows Genuine validation failure
I have directly from Lenovo Lenovo T420 bought end of 2011 which began recently to show the message that its not running Genuine Windows. He fails to pass the validation test. He also stopped treatment of the Windows updates since December 15, 2014. All fail with the error 800706F7. I don't know if that is related to the failure of the validation. I would like to get the Windows validation problem all solved first guess that they may be related. Is attached a copy of the report full diag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: called Microsoft validation and validation of phone attempt to id software. Has been informed by the agent that the product ID has been blocked by Lenovo. Suggested I upgrade Windows, purchase a new license or call Lenovo. Release with support from Lenovo and told me that they have no way to block a product code. Suggested I try an upgrade of BIOS or reload the operating system. Have you the BIOS upgrade result has not changed. Also updated the driver Intel Rapid Storage, but again no change on the system. Read messages where that fixed similar symptoms). Latest report of diag is the same as that posted here. Operation of the system with the exception of the issue with the message on non-genuine software and updates of Windows does not not error code 800706F7. Looking for more information.
Update: 2/29/2015 KB3004394 was not as installed on this system. I ran a system scan and it shows the following missing components. There are several entries in the CBS for the latter. I have included only the first two entries in the newspaper here.

Too bad the updated Microsoft corrupted the system. System is operating normally and is more pointed out the error of "Genuine Windows" and updates are being processed. KB3004394 is not installed.

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.
According to the description of the problem, you can not install Windows updates and get a non-genuine mistake. As you have mentioned that this whole issue started since 15 December, so there might be a chance that some updates to move that could cause the problem.
The KB 3004394 which was dated December 10, 2014 update can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer. Thus, there could be a chance that this update is installed on your computer that is causing the problem.
According to my research and findings that I got to know only after you have installed the Microsoft KB3004394 update that was released on December 10, 2014 and Microsoft has disabled since the relevant updates. Some systems also provided a Windows is "not authentic" error caused by the same update.
So try to remove this update of the updates installed, if it is installed and hide so that it can be installed in the future of its own. You can check the link below to complete the task.
You can see the below mentioned steps to hide an update.
Click on start.
Now click on all programs.
And then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
Now, click on custom.
Click to clear the check box next to the update KB3004394 .
Expand the KB3004394 update you want to hide, and then click the checkbox "don't show me this update again".
Click review and install updates.

Genuine Validation tool causes error
After downloading the update # KB 949810 Windows Genuine validation tool yesterday at the opening of Word/Excel (Office 2003) I get the message that the copy of Windows is not genuine.
However, it is true that I have the original installation CD and updates the previous genuine Validation, last year did not cause this problem. It is not possible to remove the update from Add/Remove Programs if anyone has any suggestions on how to overcome the problem?
Go to security 'Help' option gives me the option of electronic mail or speaking to Microsoft for an amount of £49.

This facility has NOT been made using appropriate media and it is likely that this is what is causing your problems.
