  • Windows XP product key was stolen. Is there a way to recover the key to the hologram on the documentation for Windows XP?

I built my computer 5 years ago and already a version of XP OEM (drive a sort of holographic label).  Recently the mobo was damaged by lightning, and I had to replace it.  I decided to put a bigger drive in when I reinstalled it.  I have the installation disc, but the certificate was in there with a bunch of boxes of software stolen from my garage.  I noticed that there is a number on the inner edge of the disk.  Is it possible to retrieve the activation number for this?

  • PC accessed remotely by hackers, all certificates, keys, authorizations, for my PC and my identity were copied and stolen. Several online accounts had been accessed by a third party.

Online remote access to my PC and my credentials and personal information were stolen. I had several compromised online accounts. I had Windows Live using their remote access three times service and my computer is always connected remotely. I'm stuck using many admin capabilities. The task manager says there is more than one user, but I'm the only visible.  Name resolution Protocol, Peer Networking peer Peer Networking Identity Manager, Remote Procedure Call, Mapper by point final CPP, Windows connect now Config clerk, are among the many active services right now. Resource monitor shows me connected to a remote network, there are other IPS listed other than mine. I found a hidden desk top, with map of the network... including an android phone, a Tablet PC Input Panel with a foreign alphabet. There are many programs, I've never added to my PC. I find the hidden devices that are listed as part of a network, they do not belong to my PC. My modem has no Wy - Fy, or my router. I removed the ethernet cables... the power cord, monitor, keyboard and mouse. My modem has been disconnected from the external source and the router, but was still connected and powered on, all the lights were not on showing no connection. Very shortly, I saw the indicatator of DSL connection will begin to Flash. I unplugged the modem. A minute later, I heard the ping and the squeal to initialize an internet connection from my flat satellite receiver. When I checked my PC, he was very quietly running in stealth mode, apparently fleeing electricity drawn from the speakers I left wired. I'm sure you can tell just by reading that I don't know much about computers. This situation has worried me. Microsoft said that they fixed access points and it was clean from the virus and malware. Apparently it is not. I ask to change my IP address or security credentials, regardless of which is used to verify my identity, my question is did not answer, leaving unresolved.  I am very concerned because all certificates of proof of identity online, IPaddress, Signatures etc., were copied and stolen.  The hackers have the opportunity to make me look at will and have used it to seep into my GMAIL, FACEBOOK and some other accounts. I am at a loss. I will contact Microsoft Live again... I paid cover me 30 days it wil expire on 5 December. I guess that my cyber identity has been stolen. Is it me as a victim of identity theft? Should the technicians who worked on my computer could solve my problem to be hacked and stolen ID. I made a police report a few weeks, I was told it wasn't a crime unless I could prove identity theft, that was before I had no Service. Contact the FBI. Any help or advice or anything at all that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I don't know which forum to post in both, if I choose wrong... Please help to direct my concerns to where it can be treated... Thank you a lot =)

The first thing you need to do is change ALL your passwords on all accounts - using a known machine - cleaning - and NOT connect to them with a mchine to which you think is infected.

Then only you should undertake the cleaning of the machine.

  • Stolen Hotmail account.

My Hotmail account with my gmail and other messageboard/game accounts were stolen/hacked. I tried to reset my security question, but it seems to have been changed. I deposited the stolen account form, but I have yet to hear even a glance of hotmail even though she talked about takes about 24 hours (he was 3 days). I'm frustrated as * since Hotmail is my email account main that I use for almost everything and my google account was returned almost immediately. There is no one to communicate with this topic, no case/confirmation number, and it is left up in the air. I'm never going to back my hotmail? Oh, I had to create this account, so I could post this question...

  • my driver's license was stolen. Windows will give me another.

my license of windows 7 has been stolen. what I can do.  Windows Me will help to replace and how do I call them or contact them

How it was stolen?  You must report any concealment or IP (data) to the authorities.

If the key is supplied with your computer previously included from the factory, you will need to contact the company who made the computer (Dell, Acer, HP, Asus, etc.).

If you bought the key from a store yourself, you may need to buy a new one the same way.

  • My laptop was stolen, but I have the Windows 7 product key. Can I disable it?

PLEASE, DO NOT RESPOND WITHOUT HAVING READ THE FIRST POST! IM NOT ASKING IF I CAN TRANSFER THE PRODUCT KEY ON ANOTHER COMPUTER! My laptop was stolen, but I have the Windows 7 product key.  Can I disable Win 7 for this laptop so they can not use it?  I don't want to transfer the product key on another computer, nor am I asking questions on the follow-up to the computer I bought a computer brand new with a perfectly good copy of win 7. I just need to disable the old key so that they get the Windows 7 is not geniune message and can not get updates.  Furthermore, I have a proof of purchase (original receipt from reception and cc) and entered it in the original box.

IM NOT ASKING IF I TRANSFER PRODUCT KEY ON ANOTHER COMPUTER!

IM WONDERING NOT IF I CAN FOLLOW USING THE COMPUTER WIN 7 PRODUCT KEY!

If you know the correct product key, you can block the user in use- but it won't stop them reformatting and reinstalling using recovery disks from the manufacturer to reinstall using the OEM_SLP key - and it would also prevent your use your laptop must be returned.

You must contact one of the centers of activation and inform them of the keys and the circumstances.

They will then issue a global block on the key (which can take a long time) which will result in any attempt to validate or activate any system with this key, which gives a non-genuine message on the desktop - it will NOT prevent the use of the system, and it will NOT stop the user both take steps to steal the data and/or reformatting/reinstall.

Also note that the key on the COA sticker on the case of the machine is not normally the one in use,- and if the key OEM_SLP is still in use, MS can take no action at all, as thousands of others would be affected.

  • My laptop was stolen and I want to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop repalcement

    Hello

When I bought my Dell E6400 downgrade 3 years ago, it came with Vista Pro and XP Pro. But soon after that Windows 7 is out, I bought the ultimate version to upgrade my experience.

Last week, my laptop was stolen and I'm about to buy a laptop replacement, but almost none noticed come with Ultimate.

You can disable or update my old Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop to get barr? (I understand, it is impossible to find the laptop, which is a shame considering Mac have this feature).

So, how I'll be able to reinstall my old Windows 7 & on my new laptop? Do you issue me with a new license key?

    Thanks in advance

    Andrew

You cannot reinstall your Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade because you have lost the software, it can be upgraded. You should look at your insurance coverage, assuming he was insured and claim the cost of the upgrade to Windows 7 as part of your loss.

Your ideas on disabling are a chimera. This will never happen.

  • Computer stolen with student OEM of Windows 7 Premium account.

Through my school, I bought a copy of Windows 7 Premium. When buying software, it comes with very specific provisions stating that it cannot be used while you are still a student. Unfortunately, my computer was stolen and has been reported to the police. I need Windows 7 for some of the software I use for school. Is it possible to have the old computer "inactivated", so that I can install and activate on my laptop more old?

    Rob

Unfortunately, its almost impossible to disable remote. If you still have the product key, you can install the license on a new computer and reactivate over the telephone, it should disable in place for as long as you explain your situation carefully to the agent.

There is always a possibility of the person who stole your laptop could retrieve the product key and reuse, so there is no guarantee.

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

My laptop was stolen and I want to install the windows 7 original (which I had installed in my stolen laptop) in my new laptop, but it is not preinstalled (I bought the computer laptop and windows separately, so I still have the CD and serial number)

Can I block windows in my old laptop and then install it in my new laptop? How do I block it? Or is it possible to use it in my new laptop?
    Thank you.

No way at all if it came pre-installed. He stays with the computer on which it was first installed...
