• [Security breach] Windows Live ID is locked because of the bug from Microsoft Store.

  I had to create a new Windows Live ID for this question.  I have a Windows Live ID that has been locked by Microsoft's Store due to a failure of the purchase.  The account still clearly exists but is in a weird state of limbo: I can't create an account with the same email address, nor can I recover my password as it says the account does not exist.  I've written before, connection systems and this indicates that there is a flag on my Windows Live ID account that locked.  I have a number of critical Microsoft online services associated with this account, so I want to.  I also know it's Microsoft Store which caused this problem because I was able to log in and use my right to live account until the Microsoft Store transaction failed.

  Support of Microsoft Store staff are unable to help me.  I tried to get my Windows Live ID unlocked several times.  "It is not my job" mentality prevails.  It's their job.  Their system caused the problem, they should be eager to fix it as soon as POSSIBLE.

  The Microsoft Security Response center said it is not a security hole and can't be fixed.  I say that it is a security problem: a purchase that failed in the Microsoft Store where pending it (waiting transaction) succeeds but the transaction authorization fails results in any direct account associated with the email address used for the purchase being locked.  A hacker could use a set of known and prestigious real accounts with a bunch of stolen credit cards and they could block these accounts - put these people in the same boat as me.

  There is no human contact available for honest-to-goodness Windows Live ID Single Sign-On (SSO) questions - the only "solution" Microsoft must direct me to the password recovery page, which does not help because the account is locked and not simply a forgotten password.

  This problem lasts for a month and I'm tired of going round in circles.  Help!

  I recently got upgraded to Windows 7 at work. I have rules that run scripts first thing in the morning and then run macros and so I have data ready for when I get into work.
  The problem is that when Windows 7 is locked for more than 1 hour for a reason any Outlook is disconnected Microsoft Exchange then it is impossible to retrieve emails and my scripts don't end up running.
  What can be done to fix this? When I had XP it wasn't drama leaving the computer locked at night, everything went very well. What has changed for Windows 7?
  It's not only Outlook which disconnects it seems all my connections are disconnected however outlook is my main concern.

  I was sent here from my previous post as they said it was a windows problem. Laughing out loud
  in any case, I think I could have solved the problem. I changed the send/receive settings.
  In the file-> Options-> advanced. In the Send/received subcategory, click send/receive.
  Here, I've changed schedule a shipment / automatic reception from 30 minutes to 10 minutes.

  Don't worry about this. Its common practice on Microsoft community sites. When they (the community stars et al.) do not have the answer that they just put you in a loop or give you a dangling carrot. Hardly, I get a useful response on this community. I've seen several excellent questions and comments; ideas, questions, bugs etc on the Microsoft Windows Live (and other products) community that is never resolved because there is no way to track. At most, they will be asked to attach a file to the private section and when you do that, they will never come back to you... you are supposed to forget...

  Like other communities (Stackoverflow, etc.), I wonder why cannot they just silently to transfer the question to the other tag with a brief notification, rather than for posting such a useless response, wasting space and make this boring community even more boring?

  Looks like Microsoft have outsourced Microsoft community, MSDN and Microsoft Connect social forums for customer support to some third parties to copy - paste ready-made answers. You produce a report bug legitimate about Internet Explorer on-site MSFT connect with the stages of reproduction, attach files and other details, chances are that they will close the issue as not reproducible. In my observation, barely 20% of bug reports get status resolved between 70% of the time that the bug is not actually fixed and make people crazy in the comments! For how many people will give them feedback in these circumstances?
