  • Microsoft 'temporarily blocked my account due to unusual activity on your Windows Live account.' I tried ways to reset without success.

Help. What is going on? Microsoft 'temporarily blocked my account due to unusual activity on your Windows Live account.' The only explanation that I can think is little before closing, I have exchanged emails with someone who had strange astrology and text of vitamins in his e-mail, but why would close receiving this gibberish to the bottom of my ability to send an email?

I tried several things to fix the problem.

    (1) WLSC tried SMS a password for my phone, but the text I get from their share on the phone said "to meet with STOP or HELP. Send SMS HELP to WSLC did nothing.

    (2) WLSC also sent me a link to a "page of personal support" and a "PIN code", but the link opens a generic page. There is no place on the page to enter the PIN code.

I can access my Inbox windows live, but I can not send. I don't see the same messages I try to send in my Outbox / Finally, solve this problem when I received another email from WLSC

  • [Security breach] Windows Live ID is locked because of the bug from Microsoft Store.

I had to create a new Windows Live ID for this question.  I have a Windows Live ID that has been locked by Microsoft's Store due to a failure of the purchase.  The account still clearly exists but is in a weird state of limbo: I can't create an account with the same email address, nor can I recover my password as it says the account does not exist.  I've written before, connection systems and this indicates that there is a flag on my Windows Live ID account that locked.  I have a number of critical Microsoft online services associated with this account, so I want to.  I also know it's Microsoft Store which caused this problem because I was able to log in and use my right to live account until the Microsoft Store transaction failed.

Support of Microsoft Store staff are unable to help me.  I tried to get my Windows Live ID unlocked several times.  "It is not my job" mentality prevails.  It's their job.  Their system caused the problem, they should be eager to fix it as soon as POSSIBLE.

The Microsoft Security Response center said it is not a security hole and can't be fixed.  I say that it is a security problem: a purchase that failed in the Microsoft Store where pending it (waiting transaction) succeeds but the transaction authorization fails results in any direct account associated with the email address used for the purchase being locked.  A hacker could use a set of known and prestigious real accounts with a bunch of stolen credit cards and they could block these accounts - put these people in the same boat as me.

There is no human contact available for honest-to-goodness Windows Live ID Single Sign-On (SSO) questions - the only "solution" Microsoft must direct me to the password recovery page, which does not help because the account is locked and not simply a forgotten password.

This problem lasts for a month and I'm tired of going round in circles.  Help!

Have you tried Windows Live Solution Center?

  • Windows Live has me locked

Windows Live works beautifully on my new laptop.  Now all of a sudden he has locked me and does not accept any password I give.  I even had a temporary password for my internet provider so that I can at least check my email on Yahoo.  Anyone know what went wrong and how to get there?

  • Turn off go directly to Windows Live or canned.

There is a setting I don't is not to reverse the go directly to your Windows Live Hotmail Inbox, Skip "Today", I've looked everywhere to stop going directly to my Inbox. I won't be able to choose my hotmail and go directly to my Inbox, I don't want to do this because I can not connect to any other email account which is a problem.

So I want to be able to go to the login page to use a different e-mail account, but because this feature is on it won't let me connect with another email. So, when I'm on the home page and select the Hotmail icon I want to go to the login page if I use another account to e-mail instead it automatically connect in my email and no option for or sign in page so I can sign in with another account. Not only that, but no one else can access their mail because of this feature.

Sorry, but this is a support forum for Firefox (web browser). Us doesn't support (or even know) Hotmail and Windows Live settings. Your best bet is to look for support on the site Web Windows Live on this subject if going directly is a site setting.

  • Windows Live Mail 2011

Hello, I have WINDOWS LIVE MAIL 2011, and I don't want to lose him. I hate Outlook with a passion. Can I pay to keep my Windows Live Mail 2011. There must be a way... There is always a way to do anything. Please I need an answer quickly as the end of June is here. Thanking you in advance.

If you use ONLY to send and not calendar & contacts windows live mail (any version), you can configure to operate using IMAP/POP.  If you do not need to synchronize the calendar & contacts...
It is an excellent replacement for Windows live mail which is free to try (up to 2 accounts) that BECAUSE of the work with the new outlook e-mail format called emclient.  There is also a paid version. You can either get here
It works with Exchange, POP, IMAP and looks like Windows live mail.  Frankly, it's the first replacement I've seen that actually works.  I spent.
They have their own support forums, a decent product and seem to be the only replacement for WLM that has the appearance of it.
You can import all your windows live mail in emclient easily by doing a file > import > windows live mail.  This will import your current data of WLM in emclient
On the side of caution I make a copy of the entire record of the WLM and save it somewhere safe.
  • 30-day wait to change the Windows Live ID on Xbox Live Gamertags?

I've been through all the hoops with Microsoft customer service. He began by calling me and asking if it was possible for them to change my windows live id that was linked to my gamertag because the account e-mail was more active for me. They told me that they couldn't do it for me but I could. However, the problem is, I have an email account active and a long time ago, I have enclosed a gamertag that I no longer use this email.

    Gamertag active - Inactive e-mail
    Gamertag inactive - Active email

For those that told me by phone to make a new email, bind it to windows live and then go on my xbox and edit them there. All right, how long that would take? After all the new accounts and download my xbox profile for my xbox, I finally got all the information typed with my controller when I learned that I have to wait 30 days...

I have to wait 30 days because the windows live ID is new, even if the xbox account, I try to send to it is of silver and apparently cancelled. So I went online to discuss support. Here, I have been informed that the expectation of 30 days is to prevent theft... 30 days to prevent theft of my own account. I can see the logic, but 30 days for a perfectly legitimate action is unacceptable. I informed the support agent cat that I had all the necessary information for them to watch and to see clearly that the two accounts are legally mine. Again, I was told that they couldn't do anything. They were kind enough to give me a free month of service and told me to come here.

You can do here? I look at all the questions that are asked here and none of them are part of a related issue xbox at all. I'm hoping to get this resolved as soon as 30 days. I had my xbox account spent 8 years...

To sum it all, but here's what I have:

    Account Xbox 1 - account Email 1
    Account Xbox 2 - 2 email account
    Email account of three.

I want it to be like this:

    Account Xbox 1 - 2 email account
    Account Xbox 2 - 3 e-mail account
    1 email account

And I have to wait 30 days long. Thanks for reading all this, I know it was a wall of text.

(PS. I do not know what forums would be best for this... Xbox is not in the list... I tried to tell the agent of live chat, but they told me again and again it's a question of Live ID only...)
