• Windows Live Mail always open maximized

  Since the last windows "updates", my Windows Live Mail emails open always maximized.  The properties say she's ready to open 'Normal '.  No amount of resizing stop him open as maximised, and it won't "restore down".

  You say that your emails open enlarged, so it looks that you are talking about specific individual messages you open.  But then, you also mention the shortcut properties.

  The properties of the shortcut control only the departure of the entire Windows Live Mail program.  It does not influence the size of individual emails, you double-click more late in the inside of the program.

  If you want than to not open maximized, follow these steps:

  1. Open any message by double-clicking
  2. Restore it down
  3. Although it is smaller, close it.

  Test to see if double-clicking again top now opens it to the small size.

  The next time you check the status in the Task Manager, when you find Windows Live Mail click the switch button to see if that move you to the program and he opened for you.

  It is not clear what you mean by this statement.

  • There is an option in the contacts window in kind (names) of > name -is that what you mean?
  • Or that, when you open / switch to the contacts window, you see a list sorted by last name?
  • Or that when you click on to... or start typing in the to... box in a message composition window, you see a list ('contact selector') sorted by family name?

  Only in contact with an e-mail address will appear in the "Chooser". The list includes names in alphabetical order. For contacts with a first name and a registered name , the list will be sorted based on the preference granted to sort by in the Contacts window. Contacts with multiple email addresses will appear once for each address with the address in brackets after the name.

  Name is a special value built by WLMail contact data fields. It will consist of the first match found during the analysis of the data fields in the following order:

  1. Nickname
  2. First name + last name (in the order specified to sort by in the Contacts window)
  3. First name or last name
  4. Company
  5. E-mail address

• Weak calling for WIndows Live Mail system on resources...

  WIndows Live Mail - normally fine - now is to return the error message "WLM could not be started because your computer is low on system resources."  Most likely the problem is that your model is unstable or lack of memory. "No one who is the case.  Two people in the family sections of this account, an unused third-party email (my email real unused windowslive) that I did not use "recently appeared" on the list under the other two.  I deleted it.  Now claims {sigh} the whole program it can not open. Yet, all other major programs such as google earth, picasa, excellent, powerpoint, word etc instantly open... But the consultation through help and support in the type Blue and double clicking it came, giving me the Tools menu, click on it to get accounts, then proceed from there.

  Then test by sending you an e-mail.

• Windows Live Mail - only a single Inbox shows message in the message list.

  I'm using Vista Home Premium 64.

  The Inbox of my mail from Comcast in Windows Live Mail indicates that a message in the message list, but if I click with the right button on the Inbox folder and click Properties it says that I have 24 messages. I know that messages are there but hidden because if I delete the message that is displayed in the message list that which is hidden will appear.

  How can I get all the messages to show both in the list of messages?

  I'm running Vista on my HP desktop computer, with windows live mail, I get an email (from 2 different people now) that is not junk, but it's where to find the email in the junk e-mail folder. I click on the email and click then on, not junk, then read the email. Next time I get an email from these 2 people, the email goes the Junk folder again. But even if I click not junk again, the content of the e-mail is now disappeared. The Message says, "content of the email is not found.

  I read some of the patches for this with this obviously works for Outlook, but they do not work for windows live mail. For example, first by clicking on the 'next' button does not work and the answer button is grayed. So there must be a simple way.
