When Live Mail automatically checks for new messages, or when you try to refresh to check for new messages, direct mail is going thru checks all files, etc. but when it comes to update the calendar, he hangs up at this time and that it will not end. The only solution is to close out of Windows Live Mail and restart the program. Partition is when you run a Dell with Windows XP, all updates are current.

I can't send or receive emails from Windows Live Mail. Receive the error code 4402. I can send and receive emails from my Windows Live hotmail account. In Windows Live Mail, it also says my server is an http / imap server. Can it be replaced by a pop3 server, so, how? Thank you
Well, took me a few hours and without the help of a person (TIP!), I've fixed it. Remove the live mail client account and re-apply / restore the account. Solves what seems to be a sync error. -19 October 2011

Windows Live Mail crashes when you reply.
It comes to Windows Live Mail Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8089.0726) running under Vista/64. Recently, to meet some incoming mails, WLM "Calera" for 15 or 20 seconds. What is happening is: I double-click on a message and it appears in the reading pane. Then I click 'Reply to all' or simply Ctrl + R for an individual response. This transfers the incoming message for the written component and should show a cursor flashing above the received message. But what is happening is that the writing pane opens with the message embedded in the top of the Panel and no blinking cursor. After that the second of 15-20 period, the message falls where it belongs and the cursor appears. Everything is fine then. Could there be any property of these incoming messages that would cause WLM for this? Second posting this message, first one disappeared from the system).

change how I get pictures on incoming emails
Most, but not all emails that I receive that contains images come as 'slide show', and where the image should be, there is a blank box with a red x. Is it possible in Windows Live Mail to change the settings for the images remain in the body of the email, not in a slide show?
I know that they are sent correctly, because I send on my iPod and the photos are where they should be.
I have Windows 7 and I hope you can help me.
Thank you

Original title: Windows Live Mail for widows 7.
I've been using Live Mail in windows 7, I recently tried to install updates and a message that came if I installed the updates I would lose Live mail? then, they want us to buy outlook? or is there an equivalent version of the direct male for free download?
If you are talking about windows live mail (part of essentials) you shouldn't lose it when updating. If we know what updates, we would be safer.
You may need to upgrade to the newest version of WLM.

Windows Live essential 2011 updates the corrupted display
I installed the updates of Windows Live Essential 2011 and they gave rise to the screen of Windows Live Mail being corrupted with pixels offline. After you perform a search on this forum, I checked my SiS display driver is up to date (it tells me that it is!) and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the WLE updates a few times now, but with no improvement to the display. I am struggling to find a solution for this anywhere online (and my computer knowledge is limited, so I need simple instructions). Help, please!
