  I'm waiting for the confirmation of the guys from the Live team on this, but I've corrected this problem.

  The error came from the fact that Windows registry stalled Chronogram of some access roads network I had on my computer from a former WHS (Windows Home Server) box so basically, Windows Explorer - WL photo library was still trying reach these network paths, even if in Explorer / settings there is no references to WHS, so registry entries in neutral paths and wrong...

  Replace the data of those key in the Windows registry under the HKEY CURRENT USER corrected this problem and I was able to start WL photo library.

• I can't put my wallpaper with an image of Windows Live Photo gallery.

  I had the same problem and just think about it. The image must be saved in the folder "my pictures." Right-click of your screen and go down to "Properties" there, press the 'Desktop' tab and click on the 'Browse' button and select your image in the menu. After you have finished click the 'Settings' tab and click on the "Advanced" button, which will bring up a new window, under the section "compatibility, select the"restart the computer before applying the new display settings' option.   If you like Picasa you can remove Windows Live Photo Gallery, if you want.

  If you changed the photo in Windows Live Photo Gallery... the original versions
  pictures... those that you would "Revert" to... are located in the following folder. "

  C:\Users\\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Original photos.

• When you use Windows Live Photo Gallery SCREENSAVER, monitor off, regardless of power parameters. The power settings work with all the other screen savers.

  Windows Live Photo Gallery screensaver does not extinguish whatever my power settings.  This is the case with Windows Live Photo Gallery.  When you use any other screen saver, the screen turns off according to the way in which the power settings are defined.  It is quite frustrating because I prefer to use as my screen saver Windows Live Photo Gallery.  But he will stay indefinitely if I stop it manually.  Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?   Thank you.
