  The error you see, 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC91 are usually caused by interference with the AntiVirus scan email.

  I have Vista, Windows Mail, and he worked for always without problems.  I use Windows Mail to retrieve electronic mail of three e-mail accounts.  The first two accounts always work - send and receive.  It hiccups on the recovery of emails on behalf of others (Comcast.net) and are not sent.  The error that says:

  I deleted my comcast account and recreated without result.  I have not changed the security settings.  Comcast said that I've put it in place correctly.  And it has worked for years in this way.  Any suggestions?

  A Comcast tech said to use SSL? Figures. Comcast has the worst support you can find. Follow the instructions here to the letter.

  Error 0x800CCC0D means that the server is not found. Error 11003 socket is usually a DNS error: the name of the specified server does not exist or cannot be translated into an IP address.   I assume you are using Windows Live Mail as you customer, NOT Windows Mail e-mail because Windows Mail does not support hot mail.
  Open your e-mail program > tools > account > your hotmail account > properties > advanced. Under outgoing mail SMTP,.
  Change SMTP port # to 587 NO 25 > click OK.
  In addition, go back to the properties > servers. Make sre you checked on "my server requires authentication" > OK

  If you have forgotten your username and password, call your ISP (internet service provider).
  Your ISP is the one who gave you the user name and password. They have the record. Ask them.

  At the same time ask if there is a technician who can help you with the problem of popup box.
