Windows Mail error number: 0x800CCC0F.

OT:Windows Mail.

Need help! I have Windows Mail with Vista.  My outgoing email is stuck in the Outbox with an error message: your server has unexpectedly terminated connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, secure (SSL): Yes, Socket error: 10053, error number: 0x800CCC0F my Inbox is very good and the reception of the mail.

Glad you solved it. Unless it was a problem with your server, I'm surprised WMUtil was not the fix.

  • Windows Live Mail error number: 0x800CCC0F - beneficiary account an e-mail

I have Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, 32-Bit. I use Windows Live Mail and it worked for 2 years with no problems. I use Windows Live Mail to recover emails from 4 e-mail accounts. The first 3 accounts working again (both Pop3 and an IMAP) - send and receive. It errors on the recovery of emails on the fourth count (Juno.com) and won't send or receive.

The error that says: "Cannot send or receive messages on behalf of Juno." Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.  ' Server: 'pop.juno.com' Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F Protocol: POP3 Port: 995 secure (SSL): Yes " sometimes, the Windows Security window displays first, asking 'Please verify that the user name and the password are correct for your mail server' with user name and password. Then I'm stuck in a vicious circle of this.
    Troubleshooting:
I deleted my Juno e-mail account and recreated. I disabled the antivirus and firewall, the same problem. Juno Tech Support tried having me change many parameters, including the outgoing 'smtp.juno.com' "authsmtp.juno.com" mail server, different port numbers, turned on/turned off authentication and SSL for both incoming and outgoing... they said they got me all try and they can't help me. And it has worked for years.
As a solution, I could get my Juno emails sent to my address (Gmail) IMAP, which then channels it in my Windows Live Mail, but I can't use filters to sort the mail coming this way, and it's just a waste.  HELP Please? This takes about 5 months.

  • Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F - «your server was terminated suddenly the connection...» »

Vista window Mail & Windows Live Mail both give me the same error:

If the mail is just text, it passes generally through. A small accessory (60KO ' ish) sometimes sends. A greater attachment always generates the error message

I disabled the scan to email from my AV, both for incoming & outgoing messages. It is AVG Free Edition, Ver.8.0.169.

My ISP tech support says that my setup is correct; that the problem must be a bug in my email client... "call", they say... It was at their suggestion I went from WM to WLM. The problems all seem to have begun when the IAF spent my connection DSL of the CAPM method (using a Cisco 675 modem) mode DMT (with a Westell 6100 modem). (does anyone know what I just said, there?...) I don't have!)

.. .anybody have ideas? I am open to any suggestions at this point.

So Windows XP you pretty much has the same result as Vista, regarding the sending of attachments. To exclude the server as being the cause of the problem, you should try another server. Get a free account with Gmail, which will allow
    you try their server smtp.gmail.com.

    Hi me again,.

You may need to change the settings of your incoming and outgoing settings.

Open your e-mail program > tools > accounts > your bizmail account > properties > servers, under outgoing mail server, check "this server requires authentication" > apply > advanced, under outgoing (SMTP) mail change to 465 not 25. Put a check mark on "this server requires a secure connection (SSL)" > under incoming (POP3) mail, change it to 995 no 110. Put a check mark on "this server requires a secure connection (SSL)" > OK

I would like to know the result of this step.

"Crash" is usually caused by interference from a non compatible anti-virus program. What antivirus do you use? At a minimum, email, scanning in the antivirus must be disabled, but maybe it's not enough to eliminate all the bad effects. In the worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

If disable your antivirus e-mail analysis feature does not solve your problem, consider upgrading to Windows Live Mail, because it is less sensitive to the suffering of the ill effects of too intrusive antivirus programs: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview

E-mail analysis in any antivirus must be disabled, for the reasons explained here:

  • Termination of Windows Mail errors

I use Windows Mail to connect to AOL Mail (using Windows Vista, the outgoing mail SMTP to . AOL.COM Port 587, Incoming Mail IMAP . AOL.COM port 143). I keep getting the following errors (on all differect records) and it makes it extremely difficult (if not impossible at the time) to send or receive mail.

Header download for the 'projects' folder did not complete. Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'John - AOL', server: 'imap.aol.com', Protocol: IMAP, server response: ", Port: 143, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800CCC0F

As soon as the send/receive is completed (with errors) and it is run immediately, errors will be on various issues. Error/file combination is not consistent.

Appears not to occur when the outbound Messaging Port was 25 years old. Anti-virus is on or paused.

Please ask in this forum of Windows Vista.
