Windows Mail or courier Adobe pros / cons?

With PSE 8 photo sharing by email mail attachment or photo requires a selection (via Organizer > edit > Preferences > sharing) of Adobe or Windows Mail e-mail Service. What are the advantages and disadvantages to make that choice? Question side: is equivalent to Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail?

Hello

Here's a tech note from Adobe on sharing by e-mail using PSE 7 and 8 of PSE on Win7 http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/848/cpsid_84866.html

    Hello

Flash Player and Windows Media Player are not interchangeable.

Like many things on the web, the Flash Player local storage can be put to bad use. This does not necessarily mean the Flash Player without scruples or bad product - it's the sites Web/people who abuse of this (depending on your point of view).

You can configure Flash Player to block local storage on your computer. This does not necessarily all the features of Flash Player - for example with my set of Flash Player to block local storage I can still see videos on YouTube.

The controls for the Flash Player local storage can be found here: *

    Start-> Control Panel-> Flash Player (32-bit) (Tab instorage )

There is a good explanation of privacy and local storage of Flash Player here:

    I hope this helps.

Windows Mail wants to open all attachments with Word rather than Word, Adobe, pad etc. How can I get the attachments to open properly?

    Hello

    1. Click the "Start" menu in the bottom left of Windows. Then select "Default programs".
    2. Click on the option "Associate any type of file or Protocol with a program."
    3. Select the file type you want to change the types of files listed. For example, if you want the text (.txt) file to open it in Microsoft Word instead of WordPad, choose '.txt '.
    4. Click on the "Change Program" button in the upper right window.
    5. In the list of programs, select "Microsoft Word". If Microsoft Word does not appear in the list, click on the button 'Browse' in the bottom right and choose Microsoft Word on your computer.
    6. Click on the button 'OK' and then 'close '. The next time you open this type of file, it will open it in Microsoft Word. Repeat this procedure for any other type of file you want to open in Word.

  • I moved my Adobe pro 9 from Windows 7 to Windows 10 computer... question serial No.

I moved my Adobe pro 9 from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 10.  I disabled the software on the old computer, took the serial number with me and reinstalled on the new.  So far so good.  When I run the present on the new, it seems now that I use a trial version (even if I provided the serial number) and wants me to pass within 30 days.  He wants to give me an original serial number for a version more old (which I did not).  I don't know why the series # I got when I bought Acrobat 9 pro does not work.  Any ideas?  Anyone... anyone...

Request for a previous serial number means that you have a version upgrade, not a new version of installation complete... so find your previous serial number and enter it when asked

  • Is it possible to use Adobe Pro to create a PDF file from an e-mail item in Outlook 2013?

Is it possible to use Adobe Pro to create a PDF file from an e-mail item in Outlook 2013? We used this feature in Outlook 2010 and just converted in 2013 Outlook, but it doesn't seem to be available any longer?

Are there plans to make available for Outlook 2013 or 2016?

    Hi maryga0922,

You must have Acrobat installed compatible version that would work with Outlook 2013.

Otherwise you will not see the Acrobat tab in Outlook. Web browsers and applications of PDFMaker

This is the reason why I asked for the version of Acrobat is installed on your system.

    Kind regards

  • Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

You need to install 8 AA on the new OS with your current S/N (the license allows 2 installs). After the installation, do all the updates if you expect any chance of 8 AA to run on the system. If the updates will be installed not in the menu help, then go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/ and install updates in the order. People seem to have been successful with 32 - bit systems and some have reported success with a 64 bit system. After installation, print something to the Adobe PDF printer to make sure it works. If this works, you should be in good shape as printing treat the bottleneck. There is a solution, but you shouldn't have it.

If all works well, then go back to the old machine and disable this installing and uninstalling. Don't forget that your configuration is not supported by Adobe. It seems with every new version of Windows, MS seeks to make the user to upgrade the other hardware and software for compatibility. There may be legitimate reasons for this action, but the game just seems to be Ms.

  • Problem with implementation of digital signature in Adobe Pro 9 on Windows 8

As request for Pfizer, Member of the support group I assists the user with software related issues. For now, I'm stuck with the following text:

A user has Adobe 9 Pro installed on his machine to Windows 8. Whenever he wants to sign a document with a reason, there getting following error message:

Creation of this signature could not be completed.

    Unknown error

    Technical support information: CDSHandler-619

Click OK and try to sign in again, it works, and the document is signed. We have re-created the signature and deleted all the old signatures of its system. The problem persists.

The issue is underway, since the user migrated from Windows XP to Windows 8. We have tested the following:

1 establishment of the document .pdf by another user using Adobe 9 Pro or Pro XI

2 creation of document .pdf by user using Adobe 9 Pro

In the second case, when a Word document is saved as a .pdf document, the signature is placed directly. The error occurs in all other cases (.pdf document Word in Adobe using Adobe Pro 9 or creation in Adobe 11) and the second attempt is successful.

I have a date value remove Adobe 9 Pro for system users and install Pro XI, but want to make sure I'm not missing something.

What can be the problem and how can it be solved? Thanks a lot for your comments.

Acrobat 9 was never certified for Win8 and it is no longer supported. So, if there is a problem it the only recourse is updated Acrobat to a supported version (I would advocate for Acrobat DC).

  • import of e-mail express (dbx files) outlook XP pro store in windows mail.__I should be able to find them easily! __

I was using xp rpo with outlook express.  Now upgraded to windows 7, how can I MOVE ALL MY EMAIL in WINDOWS mail

    Hi lapin21,

Please use the forum for answers,

Windows Mail is not available in Windows 7, you want to reinstall Windows XP.  You will need to back up data before you reinstall.  Best way to do is upgrade Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail and export your data to another drive.

    Switch to Windows 7

    http://windowsteamblog.com/blogs/Windows7/archive/2009/09/24/moving-to-Windows-7.aspx

Your Windows Mail data will be archived for the upgrade to Win7.

That said, note that Win7 does not include all default email Client

(e.g., Windows Mail;) (Windows Live Mail).

If you install Windows Live Mail in Win7, I'd recommend switching

for Windows Live Mail Vista first to ease the transition.

If you purchase and install Outlook 2007 in Win7, I would recommend

install Vista now and then export your data from Windows Mail to

Outlook 2007 before the upgrade. If you install only Outlook in Win7, you

will NOT be able to migrate archived data from Windows Mail in Outlook.

  • How to report an email with windows mail (windows 8 pro)

I received an email on a flight I booked. I would like to report it so that I can easily find it in the future (IE closer when I fly). I use the 8 default windows messaging application provided with the operating system. I tried to click with the right button on the email so that research in all areas of the screen I have may think, but cannot find a way to report an email. What are my options for tracking? (it's got to be a better way 'mark as unread' or create a folder and dragging)

In addition, despite the notifications being lit, the mail app does me not a pop-up notification at the top right of my screen when I get a new email. I also find my phone (via wifi and a network of cells) and the hotmail.com site will notify me on a new email well before the windows mail app 8 don't. How can I get rid of this delay?

Wow... I don't know if all the world of MS - bed or will even care.

But, I worked with my new Surface for 2 weeks now - and just thought that the function of the flag was hidden somehow.

What a function of base have disappeared... I mean overall, the e-mail client is dismal at best - but yet the flag...

Frankly, I'm about to send this thing back anyway - but this product was a real promise... but once Outlook was missing - and this email client has been had - how disappointing to say the least.

  • I have windows 7 and I use adobe reader and adobe pro and apparently my pro adobe blocks my adobe reader software.

Now when I open a PDF file on a site that I use for work, she now comes up as a separate downloaded PDF instead of a Web page that I can change and submit. I don't know why it suddenly does not work. I try it in IE and Firefox (only two browsers, the site works in) and I still have the same problem. When I call the technical support Web site, they said my Adobe Pro blocks my Adobe reader software and they can not help me, but I should uninstall my Pro to be able to reuse my player. BUT I need my Pro for work. What can I do that does not involve uninstalling my pro? In addition, other support persons tech showed me how to change the addons in the browsers and how to change settings in the player so that they interact with the site, it does not solve the problem.

Acrobat Pro is delicate the same modules of browser like Adobe Reader, and you don't need both.
