Windows Mobile between two monitors

I am running Windows 7 Professional and have my laptop set in place with an additional monitor. I have the additional monitor to the left of my laptop, but I can only drag from left to right. Surprisingly, I couldn't find another post on this issue.

Hi Robert,.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

You mentioned in the post that your laptop is configured with an additional monitor.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

Are you unable to drag windows between multiple monitors?

This problem can occur because of incorrect settings for multiple display.

There are a several screens to move windows between multiple monitors.

Please see the article to find out how move windows between multiple monitors.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if the problem still persists.

  • Keyboard shortcut to move a window between two monitors instead of drag and drop.

I want a quick way to move a window from one monitor to the other in a double configuration monitor without having to drag the window with the mouse. This is particularly useful for full screen windows since to move, I have to exit full screen, catch them with the mouse and drag them to the other monitor. Ideally, I want something I can do with a keyboard shortcut.

I don't know if this exists, I couldn't find it in a list of keyboard shortcuts. I think it would be an improvement for anyone to use multiple monitors which has good reason to need do to switch between several programs. Since windows looks at multiple monitors and identifies each in the settings of customization like 1, 2, 3, etc, it would make the most sense for me to have one high and one low. So if I have a window screen 2, I can hit a keyboard shortcut to move it to the same spot on monitor 1 (low) or monitor 3 (upwards).

Maybe it exists in form some and I don't find it not, but if not I think it would be very useful, especially for anyone doing graphic design or programming work.

(Also I filled out the form for that matter like windows 7, which is what I use at home, but he put it under the XP forum since that is what the computer I write from is running on.)

Use the following key combination to switch between screens.

"Windows key + SHIFT + key.

    Detailed instructions:
Press in and hold the Windows key and then add and hold down the SHIFT key. While now hold both hit the left or right arrow key to move the current active window left or right.

  • Windows XP loses two monitor settings and returns to the single monitor after to be identified only by the windows... No reboot is

To begin with, I am the HelpDesk of the company and our users are running Windows 7, Vista and XP. The problem will occur randomly on most XP and Vista systems.

I'm beginning to believe that it is a computer problem to the extent of the material or something of this nature.

For now, I swapped the computer and now the question is not fooled by the user.

But in general I wanted to know why this happens. They will be blocked (not a stop) their computer to take a lunch break and when they return to log in order to return to work. They work on two monitors and for some reason, as the settings go back to the single screen...

Why this keep happening? Help, please?

Either way, I don't think it's a driver problem... Because I just run images on hard drives of all application users run and the problem occurs randomly.

Thanks in advance for your response...

  • Compare Windows (Snap) using two monitors

Using Vista and XP Pro, I open two instances of Windows Explorer and organize their visualization side by side, allowing me to move conveniently files manually.

Windows 7 automates this task through its component feature snap, a feature that allows windows to be compared next by simply dragging an instance of the window on one side of the screen.

    I use two monitors 24 ".

When I drag a window, like a version of the Windows Explorer, on the left side of the screen of the monitor 1, it fits perfectly and has a width of about 1/2 of the monitor on my left. Allows me to save a lot of time.

When I drag another window on the right side of the monitor 1, he continues to travel to monitor 2. The window I want to compare not follow until it reaches the right side of the monitor 2.

Is there a setting that allows the functionality of the component snap to recognize I want the additional window to align on the same screen as the window broken - left?

    Hello Stephenbuck415,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.
Breaking of Windows works as expected, it will jump to the left edge and the right edge of the desktop. As you said, you extended your desktop on both screens, so the left edge of your desktop on the left edge of the display 1 and the right edge of your office is the right edge of display 2.
You can use the WIN + l/r arrow in order to place your windows on each monitor.
    Hope this helps

  • Tool Windows 2Installez for two monitors

I have a problem connecting to a monitor to your laptop and stretching of the screen of the computer on the screen. After doing so, the auto screen monitor will pop all the windows on the monitor for a little more than half of the screen, leaving a large part on top that is unusable. If I maximize the window that it will expand only to slightly more than half of the screen, leaving this same space above it that is unusable. I can use the entire screen of the laptop, but only about half of the screen of the monitor. In my view, it is to increase the area of auto snap to fill the entire screen, but I don't know how to fix this. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

  • Tool of Photoshop keyboard shortcuts do not work between two monitors

    Hello

My friend works on Photoshop CS6, with 2 monitors and a Wacom tablet. Keyboard shortcuts do not work for one of its tools, brush sizes etc... It must manually, click on each individual tool and resize brushes, makes his workflow much slower. The keyboard works with other programs and the Wacom tablet works fine.

For example, when making a mask and using the Brush tool, it can select B for the Brush tool. Then, as she is brushing, she cannot change the size of the brush, opacity of the brush or press the backslash on the keyboard to see the mask. She must manually, go to the toolbar and click the desired option.

There seems to be a break with between the 2 monitors and keyboard. Any suggestion would be great.

    Try this:

Right click on a box empty office.  On the left, click Customize display settings.  In the monitor window that opens, you should see your two monitors.  Who is that clicking on identify monitors.  Click and drag the right monitor left to the left of the original left screen and release the drag.  This should change the positions of the two monitors so that the movements of the mouse must be as you wish.

  • Two monitors: I need a 2nd taskbar

I have Windows XP and two monitors.  We have forgotten how to get the 2nd taskbar on the 2nd monitor.  I tried dragging it above, but anything that succeeds in making moves my main taskbar of my primary monitor.

    I appreciate and help!

You can move your quick launch on the desktop by dragging it to the top, then on the other monitor, or you can try Ultramon or Multimon or something like that. I haven't used one of these.

Depending on the graphics card may also have something built.

Windows xp has nothing built natively in that I am aware of.

  • Two monitors XPS8700

I have the XPS8700 with GeForce GT720 NVIDIA compatible video. What should I do to run two monitors with this computer?

    Hi tazio nuvo.

Thanks for the Post! I would recommend first of all by ensuring that the Nvidia drivers are up-to-date with the latest version available on the support site, http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/ , then by configuring your set up through the control panel Nvidia instead of Windows:

Connect two monitors to the NVIDIA graphics card,

Open the NVIDIA Control Panel and select "configure multiple screens."

Check the box next to the idle screen you want to enable as a secondary screen, then click on apply.

Other users have posted at the following link indicating the multi-screen configuration was easier to establish if the Nvidia Control Panel: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/p/19596598/20669025.aspx . We have also some great guides available on the website of Dell support for assistance if you have problems with the game up.

    HI guys,.

    (Q) what is the difference between roaming and mobility between two autonomous APs?

I configured two APs of stand-alone mode in root mode with the same settings (same wlan ID for two VLANs) wlan. How does choose between these two APs clients to connect.

I read a few docs and they said they will choose AP on the intensity of the signal. My question is, do I need to activate some kind of roaming/mobility between them so that if clients connected to an access point moving to the AP another area, they will automatically connect to AP with AP signal stronger.

So now we come to the point on homelessness:

IF you use a WPA/WPA2-PSK, then all you need to do is configure the AP exactly the same way, with the exception of the IP address on the interface BVI.

IF you use 802. 1 x, then you want to configure WDS to the cached key.

  • Move windows between multiple monitors

    Move windows between multiple monitors

You can easily extend your Windows desktop across multiple monitors. A display that spans two monitors or more significantly increases your screen area so that you can drag windows and program icons anywhere on the desk of theextended.

By default, when you connect another monitor, the image of your desktop appears on each monitor display. Before you can drag a window from one display to another, you must change your display setting toExtended. For more information, see Set up multiple monitors.

I can't do it in my compuer whay?

  • Between two Windows 7 computers to sync Outlook 2010?

Specifically, my aim is to synchronize "Outlook 2010" calendar, Contacts (including 5 subdirectories), tasks, and notes between 2 computers on Windows?

I have a desktop computer and a laptop. Both Windows 7 and Outlook 2010.  Both are on my home group.  I currently use the Briefcase to synchronize specific Document files between the two computers.

(I'm currently syncing my Palm Treo 850 to my desktop, then to my lapstop via Mobile Device Center but the Outlook Contact (5) subfolders used to synchronize without new version Pocket PC 2010 - not yet published.) Only the main folder synchronization / by default.  Therefore, I must find a new solution until the Pocket PC 2010 is available for a full synchronization.  Unfortunately, new mode sync from computer to computer could exclude them have Outlook Contact subfolders on my phone well.)

    Help?

    Gwen

The key element to keep Outlook in sync on both machines is the. PST file. It contains everything. If you want your home Outlook even as your work in Outlook, make a copy of the. PST file to work (make sure that Outlook is closed when you do this), take the said copy home with you, set a folder where it will not overwrite your existing. PST file, then open it with Outlook using ' file | Open | Outlook data file "."  You now have two options:

    1. drag and drop what you want to work. PST at home. PST to their doing the same thing or,
    2. this new set. PST default file and just continue to use it.

There are a number of third-party tools that will do the synchronization, as see you in the link that I sent, but most cost money.

On the cell phone, you have reached the limit there is no way to sync subfolders of Contacts; It is a limitation of Windows Mobile and has no good workaround solution.
