Windows Movie Maker Storyboard gives white screen

I was doing a movie on windows movie maker. It consist of photos and music. while I was working, but once I saved it and opened it again, he couldn't play more on the storyboad, he played on the table of Storyboard. the screen is blank, however can see the file name on the top of the table of Storyboard moving and can also listen to the music. Opened a new page and drag the photo to the storyline, but same result. only a black screen in the preview. I use windows XP. Help, please.

Perhaps one or more of your source files are not
fully compatible with Movie Maker.

Several formats are apparently compatible with
Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv - avi
Audio - wav, wma, wmv

Open the Device Manager by following the steps in the first link I provided in the previous answer, and then expand the graphicsoption. Your graphics driver is listed under this category. If you double click the driver that is on the list, it will open the driver properties dialog box. You can go to the driver tab it and then click on the option to restore the drivers to roll your graphics driver back and see if this helps you.

You can also uninstall and reinstall the driver from there. To reinstall the driver, you will need to download it from the website of the manufacturer of the computer.

    It will be useful.

  • Windows Movie Maker-how hide the images in the table of Storyboard

    Windows Movie Maker

I used windows movie maker repeatedly to do movies and had a lot of luck.    I'm now trying to start one and cannot find the option to 'hide' imported media images after that that they were placed on the table of Storyboard.  HELLLLLLLLLLLLP!

RE: Hide parts of the clips you want
Assuming you are using the version of Windows Movie maker 6.0

Open Windows Movie Maker > above, help > Help topics > scroll to learn more about Windows Movie Maker, click on it > click Trim, reorganize and copy audio imported video clips > start reading and roll of trim (hide) a clips video. That shows you how to hide parts you want. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Preview screen shot black during editing movies in Windows Movie maker.

Original title: technical problems with Windows Movie Maker

I tried to make a video using Windows Movie Maker, but the program guard making it to where I can't use it.  I just changed the audio clips and video and all of a sudden, the preview turned black screen and when I press the play button, nothing happens.  I have no idea how to fix this, but if I restart the program or even my computer, the situation does not change.  Basically, the play button does not work.  Any ideas on how to fix it? My project is due for school tomorrow...

I tried fixing video filters using the link you provided, but that did not help.  I finally found the problem, however.  I was using a MOV file, which apparently tends to have problems when you put it in Movie Maker, so I converted the files of a different type and they works perfectly.  Thanks for your help!

  • Windows Movie Maker: Small video and green screen

I've been taking videos on Movie Maker for quite awhile and I've never had a problem until today. I've got this show that I have edited. The preview reading is perfectly fine and everything works normally and then I publish. Publication is going smoothly, but something must of happened between this amount of time, because the video is now scrunch all upward on the top (its dimensions are now all distorted to extend over the screen to halfway) and on the bottom half there is just a green screen. It occurs only after the publication. I tried to change an option that I use when publishing... did the same thing. Then I thought maybe it was some kind of title effect I used... it's not. I tried to delete all the effects on my thing and editing like that... This isn't the problem. The only thing that could be a problem, it's that it's a different file, then I usually use I think that... I had like a torrent file, but when I look, it works well and is not. So I do not understand... any suggestions?
