  There are essentially two different methods to "install Windows":

  1. a clean install (which is basically all wipes) imply the shape of the disk (or partition).

  2. a repair install (which is supposed to leave all your programs and data intact) does not imply the formatting.

  Try: Button Firefox-> Bookmarks-> show all bookmarks

  (if you have the menu bar (i.e. File, Edit etc) at the top left to try: bookmarks-> show all bookmarks)

  This will not open them in a tab, but in a new window.

  I recently bought a HP Envy 800-060 with Windows 8, which I upgraded to 8.1. Yesterday, something happened which caused the computer not to be unable to start successfully, and I had to perform a system refresh. Apart from the inconvenience of having to reload the software, settings, etc., the restored system Windows 8, but the Windows 8.1 upgrade is not found in the store. The HP Wizard is no help on this, and when I went to the Microsoft website to try and download the upgrade from there, it just hit me back to the store. I guess somehow the Bank thinks that I've already updated, so it doesn't let me do it again. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

My question: Trend Micro says that Windows recognizes the Trend Micro firewall that is on and then start to monitor, rather than its own firewall. Why Windows not recognize is not the firewall of Trend Micro and so not monitoring in the Windows Security Center? (Yes, I'm 100% sure that my Trend Micro firewall is running, I even went through the process of uninstalling, then put it back in order to ensure with the trend on the live chat)

  I've used this feature on my computer before about 6 months ago.  About 2 months ago, I had to reinstall the windows operating system 7 due to some problems I had with the software and my driver cd.  After using the disc of windows 7 dell, I had all sorts of problems.  Drivers have not been installed and ive called dell several times to get help with drivers are reinstalled.  I don't know if this information will help you to help me, but I thought I'd give some information.  Tonight, I tried to set up an ad hoc network so I can use my computer as a wifi hotspot and connect to my ipod touch.  When I went to create, I reach the screen when you type the name of the network, select protection and password etc.  I do all this and then click Next.  The box following dialog that appears says 'windows could not configure jon' (jon is the name I use for the network).  I don't know what is the problem, but I contacted the hardware support dell, they said that it was a software problem and I had to buy a software warranty for something like $250 and then I could talk to the experts in software and they'll fix it.  I told them I could not do that and asked how it was a software problem and the person just said that it was too advanced for the material support team and the software team would reconfigure the entire network... whatever that means.  So, any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I'll build a new website that incorporates a standard footer.

  The footer works as expected in the sense that moves down when more content is placed in the page. However, when I transfer the Web site in a browser the footer is to stay with the bottom of the browser window and not only with the content of the page. By example, if I Zoom out as far as my browser will allow the footer always appears at the bottom of the browser window leaving a large gap between the content of pages and the page footer.

  I have a new Walkman NWZ Z 1050.
  When I plug it into the USB port, Windows 7 install instantly as a USB driver instead of a multimedia player.

  First of all, you are mistaken when you say that the PC does not start.

  This is clearly starting. The problem comes from Windows, not with the real PC. It's actually a very important distinction!

  There are methods to repair Windows, but they can be a bit tedious. By all means, follow the advice given here to do if you're so inclined.

  If you would not rather to repair Windows (and I think it's interesting a try) or your repair attempts are unsuccessful, apparently, you would need to use an external optical disc drive and follow the instructions here:
