  I bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-164 without BONES. When I tired to a software install Windows XP Professional genuine, it gives a message "Setup did not find units of hard disk installed in your computer".

  The only thing I can think is that you were consistantly entered a bad key - it's almost unknown fo that there is to be a wrong key on the label and it is much more likely to be a case of misreading of the key, which is not easily read in the best of light (which is why I often use a torch and a magnifying glass).

  has caught ISO sp3 rather old stand-alone setup I had; and for some reason any has no exe work again even in safe mode but the iso.
  My advice to anyone with a similar problem is grab ISO sp3 and use instead.m

  If you have another partition, you can install Win7 on it. And have a dual boot

  Hello, recently I lowered my (preinstalled) HP 6820 s Vista Home to XP Pro SP2, to learn that XP isn't this nice power management utility that offered three options, for example, energy saving, optimized Mode, High Performance.
