  Hey guys! its my first post.

  I need help with my computer hp laptop pavilion dv6t-3000/entertainment. I tried to install windows 8(64x), upgrade to windows 7(64x) and everything is going well, but after trying to update the graphics driver in Device Manager (there was an alert next to tell him he was out of date), the screen went black and I can not get windows 8 to display anything after the start menu.

I updated my pc 3 times and reinstalled windows 8 and windows 7 one time twice.

  If hp does not support my computer for windows drivers 8, is there anything else I can try?

  Windows 8 is not supported by HP on this model (so far), you're on your own to find drivers or methods toher to get the chart works properly, which may not be possible, at least until HP free W8 drivers for it at a later date.

• WPA2 and WPA2 enterprise for Pavilion dv6t-3000 does not connect

  We have a WPA2 Enterprise network running on a Cisco Wireless Lan Controller.  The controller is 4400 series and the Aironets are 1130 G Series.  The problem is that this brand new computer not connect to this network from time to time and when it connects it times out.  This works for all Mac and PC computers.  What should I do for this HP pavilion dv6t 3000 to make it work on our network?

  The second connection to the wifi card has not been set.  Open Bay for the wifi card and just reconnected the wireless card connectors.

  The Crucial scan seems to direct me to the memory of better and faster that is listed in the Service Guide. My laptop took advantage of this Crucial memory to operate at faster speeds than the memory, I have now? What latency (CL) cases? I saw sticks to new Egg with CL = 9 instead of this Crucial CL = 11. CL is important? What I have to buy two Crucial 4 GB sticks or I can I keep my original 4 GB stick and add a Crucial 4 GB stick for my 8GB? Is Crucial memory memory low density -something I've read elsewhere that I need? FWIW, a diagnostic analysis of Norton said that my current memory is syncing to 1067 ns.

These mobile Intel Core i7 1 genQuads always tends to be expensive and I don't know how much delivery must be done by replacing one such Quad Core for another. The base clock speed increase would be only 1.6 to 1.86 ghz, which is not terribly important. • Dv6t 3000 Blue screening after 3 weeks

  I bought a HP DV6T - 3000 3 weeks ago. The DVD burner did not work from the outset and made me lose 6-disc before I gave up on it. He then started blue screening a couple of days. It now blue screens every 10 minutes or more. Technical support have traced the issue to the bad memory or the cradle of the faulty memory. They offered to solve the question to have me return the laptop in the mail (within 2 weeks) or purchase home coverage of support for $130. They refused to accept that the machine was a piece of bad quality of manufacture and to send someone home to fix it. I need to get productive and return as soon as possible, so no choice but to buy the home cover and out an engineer. Conclusion - HP sell me a really poor piece of manufacturing that I have to pay to have resolved.

  As the laptop is only 3 weeks another line of conduct should I? My protests have met with total intransigence and a total refusal to accept that the laptop was DOA and their responsibility to fix.

  Can't speak for HP, but if it was me, I send in for repair but buy another laptop from a different company and sell the laptop repaired.

• Missing programs, perhaps a Windows problem

  I was working on my computer very well, I've been on the internet for hours without problem (no antivirus warning and I wasn't downloading anything, only normal pages), and I have existing, up-to-date antivirus.

  Well, the problem is that most of my installed programs have just "party" and some standard Windows programs are gone too. Programs, I had on my system for years and have used several times without problem simply disappeared as well as programs such as calculator and paint. Well, they are the programs that I realized that I have lost so far. To give you an idea, go to start, programs, and usually 1 columns 3/4 programs are displayed, it is now maybe 2/3 of a column. When you go into program files, there is nothing in the missing programs, it seems that they have been uninstalled.

  I have done a complete analysis of the system through Norton Antivirus and came up with nothing. I restarted and then a box come to say a word about "Windows is unable to complete the program installation..." something in this direction, and nothing has come on my desktop except for the desktop, My Documents and trash. I did a restore of the system at the point of older, two weeks ago, and it came up saying: "we cannot complete the system restore, no change has been made."  Arghh!

  I'm computer literate and worked a bit in the it helpdesk and I have absolutely no idea. I think since this is a Windows problem that we may have to clean this completely and started from scratch with new windows. I you gave as the screenshots I can, to maybe give you an idea of what is happening. Note on the last note of screenshot that there are a few things has highlighted. I did not do that, then maybe it's the question? This is the "InstallShield Installation information", "Uninstall information", and "windows update". Also, I am happy to install Real VNC if that helps diagnose the problem. Can you please guide me the case, before you go to all this effort?

  Is someone can you please tell me how I can set up Zones of tap? The clickpad of my Pavilion dv6t-3000 is not good, the buttons are very difficult. Impossible to get an improvement since the parameters of the BIOS, or worse, even the HP service center...   Just a quick note for those who would use the touchpad and the clickpad not... This will not activate if the click of a button is activated. Then uncheck buttons activate or activate the option clickpad and you should be able to use the touchpad click

  I was wondering if I could upgrade my laptop with an i5 450 m to an i7 840 qm.  Here's my laptop specs.  In the manual it is said that it is one of the processors supported.  And two processors use the same socket.  But f.29 bios will support the i7 without integrated graphics card even though I have the ati card 5650 integrated graphics already in the computer?  I am very experienced with disassemble laptops, but I don't know what the bios F.29 supports.  And if she can always update my bios even if this isn't in the box of books DV6t?

  You would need to change the motherboard in your for one of the mothers image described in Chapter 3 of the maintenance manual.

  Quad core processors don't work in motherboards dual core and visa versa.
