Windows Service Pack 3 models breaks
I have recently installed Windows Service Pack 3. I have a few websites that use templates... Now when I change the template and update pages none of the pages updated... What's wrong?Reinstalled Dreamweaver and got it works...
Before installing Service Pack 3 from Windows I had to run a Microsoft patch subinacl.exe because I was getting "access denied"... http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949377
Maybe this is what screwed up my installation of dreamweaver...
Also painfully discovered that when reinstalling Dreamweaver, you must have the installation files in the correct directory it is initially installed in otherwise you get a message "insert media"...
Also after reinstalling dreamweaver had to rename C:\Documents and Settings\

Thanks for your post. If please make your way through the troubleshooting steps below and let us know the results of each utility so that we can better help you get this issue resolved.
1. download / install and run the tool update system - CheckSur. You can download the tool from the link below.
Download the tool update system (64-bit)
2. click Start type cmd (you should see the command prompt fill up) right click and select run as administrator
Inside the command prompt, type sfc/scannow
For more information regarding the file system checker.
* If corruption is found, see How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7
3. once the SFC is finished, check your hard drive for errors.
4 restart the system update readiness tool. If errors have been eliminated, try to reinstall Service Pack 1. If this is not the case, go to step 5.
5. perform a Startup Repair, when starting, try to install the Service Pack.

Installation of Windows Service Pack 2 - spinstall.exe "Win 32 invalid app".
When trying to download Windows Service Pack 2, I get "spinstall.exe is not a valid Win32 application" which makes impossible installation. It was on the second and third effort.
The first time I tried to download and install the Windows SP2, I got "Extraction failed. amd64\update\update.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
How can I download Windows SP2 successfully. The computer is running Windows SP1?

SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
3. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:sfc/scannow
