  Guys, I fixed it on my own. If you have my exact problem. you need enter the NVIDIA Control Panel, go 3d, global settings. You must then change your graphics settings of the built-in graphics card. apply the changes, and then run halo 2. You should then get a message (unless you already have the latest version of windows Live gaming contraption) windows Live games does not work. Therefore, install the latest version and try to play halo 2 once again. It worked! for me at least. hope this helps, if not, then sorry.
