  The windows startup screen appears, and then the screen turns white with just the cursor.  The cursor is mobile.  Make a start with a lit boot record, it seems that many drivers do not load.

  If you are not able to get safe mode then there is a lot of damage has been done.

  I suggest slaving the hard drive to another computer to back up your data (or a boot disk OS which you leave copy on a USB device and backup your stuff).

  Then wipe the hard drive clean (DBAN or KillDisk - both are free) and then using system restore restore disks.

  To view your history of update

  1. Open Windows Update by sliding into the right edge of the screen and click on settings.
  2. Click change PC settings, and click then on update and recovery.
  3. Click view update history.

  I applied the security of .NET for MS14-026 patch according to the https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/ms14-026 on my Windows 2008 R2 SP1 servers.  I did have errors or problems during the installation, but what I find more precisely with the .NET 3.5.1 update (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2931356) is the version of file not updated the version number that is in the article.  I have not checked all the files in the list, but a single specific file used by our security team to determine if the update has been applied is system.runtime.remoting.dll article states that the version number of this DLL must be 2.0.50727.5483 after you apply this update.  On all systems, I applied this update for at least 10 so far, it remains to the 2.0.50727.5420 version.

  It is perhaps a typo in the documentation or could I do something wrong?

  Image not updated after you apply the filter to the CS6. Preview is generated, but filter does not apply. Very sporadic so I guess this could be a problem of memory. Help on Win7, AMD Phenom II, with 8 GB of memory.

  My opinion is that I would not try it because it is a SYS belonging to view and it seems that Oracle has not provided a safe method for this.

  I spent an hour yesterday on the phone with my ISP check it was their system, not a hardware problem with my modem or router.  I spend another 1/2 hour on the phone with Dell technical support.

  It turns out the issue was my DNS has been altered, and the only way to recover was to perform a restore of the system for 8/16.  Everything was going well after that... until Windows Update automatically ran last night, install the last two so-called critical updates. I don't know what is causing the problem, but my DNS was wiped out again, and I had again back 8/16 recovery point.

  I disabled Windows Update for the moment because I don't know how else to solve the problem; in the absence of any change to my system, I suspect it's updates are something to my DNS. Is there a way to know if/when a later critical update solves the problem created by these?

Wait until the system has finished the research for the list of updates. Select update required, then right click and Uninstall.

  I have a HP Pavilion a1420n (Media Center) and Pavilion HP laptop also with Media Center, after applyig SP3 the HP Pavillion locked up and crashed.  After 4 tries to apply the updates, it crashed twice, locked up once and was not able to backup or restore.  I was able to get SP3 to apply the Media Center, but it does not start I need help, I am not a technician.

  OK, if the system was to SP2 before you apply SP3, then you have updated such as advised by Microsoft. I did a bit of research on this subject and even if you aren't alone, I couldn't find a definitive answer. Another contributor to this thread (ElderL/Jose) could help. If Jose can help, your problem is definitely a 'hard' nut

  Unlike Jose, I have MCE and although I tried, I was unable to reproduce your problem.

  so far, I made a few calls of https-webservice using utl_http, including authentication certificate without problems. He has worked not only for SYS, also for other users of the DB, then the ACL network were correct.

  Then I applied the patches #20583364 (11.2.0.4.16 for windows x 64) group. After the successful update, the Web service calls end in an ORA-29024.

  There is no difference if I use «select utl_http.request...» "or utl_http.begin_request (of course with .set_wallet before)-> always the same exception.

  After the patch rollbacking, everythings works again - it should be a part of the Group of hotfixes. But I have not found anything in the release notes, what could cause this.

  Does anyone of you have the same problem? How do solve you? What did I wrong or what I can check?

  After hours of investigation and trials and errors, I finally found it - I hope this can help someone else:

  His response covers just the version 12.1, but it also works for version 11

  => Just remove the site certificate! The portfolio must contain only the root and immediate certificates!

• Logging.XML file resets after you restart the managed server

  I modified the logging.xml file because I implemented a Logger.But ADF custom after you restart the server, SOA, logging.xml file get automatically back to the unmodified state, all this means that I modified was not.
  
  Am I missing something?

  In the EPS group, usually there is a set of Configuration files are synchronized to all of AdminServer breaks the run. A simple example is like file config.xml and some files of data sources, files, ldap, etc. Whenever we reboot the Soa or bam managed servers, they go to AdminServer and obtain a copy of these files. So, if you make any changes directly on the managed server computers, then can be is getting crushed when you restart the servers. Check the timestamp of all these files. Make the changes on the side means Admin on the machine where you have AdminServer running. If all goes well, soa/bam should get these files at startup.
