  After replacing my old HDD with a new SSD, I successfully used my purchased 1 & 2 recovery discs to reload Windows 7 x 64.  Now, I am able to connect to the internet and navigate through Internet Explorer, but I can't get Windows Update to work.  I get this error: Windows Update 8024A 000 error Code.

  I was able to find a solution to this problem.  It is a problem with the HP recovery disk image.  It does not correctly install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver.

  Download and install the version appropriate for your respective operating system.  As soon as it was installed it fixed my Windows Update doesn't work not, error: 8024a 000

  Hi, I have windows home basic and started having a problem getting my updates [error code 641] there were 7 now there are 9 that I can't seem to download. I searched through all my updates and found on 19-09-09, he tried to download service pack 2 and it was cancelled so I tried to reinstall and it tells me that it is already installed.
